Due to the high interest in renewable energy and diversity of research regarding photovoltaic （PV） array, a great research effort is focusing nowadays on solar power generation and its performance improvement under various weather conditions. In this paper, an integrated framework was proposed, which achieved both maximum power point tracking （MPPT） and minimum ripple signals. The proposed control scheme was based on extremum- seeking （ES） combined with fractional order systems （FOS）. This auto-tuning strategy was developed to maximize the PV panel output power through the regulation of the voltage input to the DC/DC converter in order to lead the PV system steady-state to a stable oscillation behavior around the maximum power point （MPP）. It is shown that fractional order operators can improve the plant dynamics with respect to time response and disturbance rejection. The effectiveness of the proposed controller scheme is illustrated with simulations using measured solar radiation data.

Mornag Plain is a coastal area of the Mediterranean basin, which has undergone an agricultural industrial boom. The aim of this study was to investigate the different water qualities used for irrigation on heavy metal mobility in these polluted agricultural soils. The geo-accumulation indices for heavy metals (Ni, Cr, Pb, Cd, Cu, and Zn) revealed that industrial activities and used treated wastewater (TWW) contributed to soil pollution, and water irrigation always decreased this contamination. After long-term use of different water types, high perturbation of heavy metal redistribution has occurred. Groundwater use altered all heavy metal redistributions in the irrigated soil among various soil-solid and soil-solution fractions, as compared to the unirrigated soil. Slight acid water use transferred some metals from different solid phase components into water-soluble and exchangeable fractions. However, TWW use transformed some Ni, Cr, Cd, Cu, and Zn from water-soluble and exchangeable fractions to less labile fractions, particularly into organically bound fractions. Reuse of conventional water within the same soil decreased the whole soil redistribution index values, indicating tendency to return to the pattern of distribution of groundwater-irrigated soil.

Objective:To analyze Myrlus communis chemically and evaluate the hypotensive effects and antioxidant properties of methanol,chloroform,ethyl acetate and aqueous extracts from the leaves of this ***:Total phenolic and flavonoid contents as well as the antioxidant potential of methanol,chloroform,ethyl acetate and aqueous extracts have been investigated by using different in vitro *** hypotensive effects of methanol and ethyl acetate extracts were evaluated in anaesthetized rats by using the method of invasive blood pressure ***,ethyl acetate extract was subjected to analysis by different chromatographic methods in order to identify new ***:Chemical analysis of ethyl acetate extract revealed the presence of myrecitin-3-O-α-*** acetate extract was found to have the highest total phenolic and total flavonoid contents with the values of 435.37 ma gallic acid equivalents/g dried weight and 130.75 mg quercetin equivalent/g dried weight,*** acetate extract also exhibited the highest activity in scavenging 2.2-diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl.2,2'-azinobis-(3-ethylbenzthiazoline-6-sulfonic acid),hydroxy]radical and reducing power:whereas,methanol extract exhibited higher chelating activity than ethyl acetate extract *** was found to be strong inhibitor of lipid peroxidation in β-carotene bleaching assay(91.19%).ferric thiocyanate method(87.55%).and thiobarbituric acid method(82.59%) as compared to butylated *** administration of methanol and ethyl acetate extract(0.04 to 12 mg/kg body weight) decreased the maximum mean arterial blood pressure with values of 20.6%and 32.49%at 12 mg/kg body weight,respectively in anesthetized ***:This study provides a scientific basis for the use of Myruts communis in traditional medicine as hypertensive agent as well as additional resources for natural antioxidants.

In the present study, structural properties of 4,4’ dimethylaminocyanobiphenyl (DMACB) have been studied extensively by using ab initio Hartree Fock (HF) and density functional theory (DFT) employing B3LYP/B3PW91 exchange correlation levels of theory. The vibrational frequencies of DMACB in the ground state have been calculated by using Hartree Fock level and density functional method (B3LYP/B3PW91) with 6-31G(d, p), basis set. Nonlinear optical (NLO) behavior of the examined molecule is investigated by the determination of the electric dipole moment μ, the polarizability α, and the hyperpolarizability β by using the B3LYP/B3PW91 methods.

The antioxidative activities of subfractions;methanol (CE), chloroform (CHE) and ethyl acetate (EAE) of Teucrium polium extracts (TPE) were investigated. HPLC analysis of the plant revealed the existence of procyanidins B1 and B2, gallic acid, catechin and epicatechin. All the extracts showed inhibitory properties on xanthine oxidase, with IC50 ranging from 0.80 ± 0.07 to 11.76 ± 0.50 μM/quercetin equivalent. In the cellular system, all the extracts showed a protec-tive effect greater than those of quercetin, rutin and gallic acid against t-BHP induced oxidative damages in human erythrocytes. These results were clearly confirmed by a modified thiobarbituric acid-reactive species (TBARS), and β-carotene/linoleic acid assay which demonstrated that CHE possess an inhibition ratio of the linoleic acid oxidation (83.11%) close to that of BHT (96.77%). In addition, the results showed that the extracts possess a potent DPPH radical scavenging activity and gave a reduction power greater than rutin, quercetin, gallic acid and ascorbic acid in FRAP assay. These results show that Teucrium polium extracts have strong antioxidant effects and may have some clinical benefits.

Malignant transformation of normal cells involves important structural and functional changes, particularly in cell adhesion. In this study, we wanted to assess whether changes in the expression of FAK, a tyrosine kinase, which is recruited to focal adhesions and plays a key role in cell migration, proliferation and survival, could reflect the invasive capacity of bladder carcinomas. The aim of this study was to evaluate the FAK expression in cancer ceils as an important prognostic factor of the evolution of bladder carcinomas. Tumor and paired peritumoral biopsies were obtained during transurethral endoscopic resection or cystectomy of bladder tumors in 280 patients at the Urology Unit of the Mustapha Hospital of Algiers and the Hospital of Tizi-Ouzou （Algeria）. The authors studied FAK expression in samples from bladder carcinomas at different stages of malignant transformation by western blot analysis using a specific anti-FAK antibody. Western blot is one of the most common laboratory techniques; it is used to detect the presence of a specific protein in a complex mixture extracted from cells. A weak increase in FAK expression was observed in tumors of grade 1 and 2 （1.65; 2.99） as compared to healthy tissues; it became particularly important in grade 3 tumors; the authors show that FAK levels significantly increased gradually according to the tumor stage.

syndrome （BCS） and identify the aetiologies of thisdisease in ***： Patients with BCS, hospitalised in our unitfrom January 2004 until June 2010 were included and theaetiological factors were assessed. Patients presentinga BCS in the setting of advanced-stage cirrhosis or aliver transplantation were excluded from the study. Thediagnosis was established when an obstruction of hepaticvenous outflow （thrombosis, stenosis or compression）was demonstrated. We diagnosed myeloproliferativedisease （MPD） by bone marrow biopsy and V617FJAK2 mutation. Anti-phospholipid syndrome （APLS） wasdetected by the presence of anticardiolipin antibodies,anti-β2 glycoprotein antibodies and Lupus *** also detected paroxysmal nocturnal haemoglobinuria（PNH） by flow cytometry. Celiac disease and Beh？etdisease were systematically investigated in our *** anticoagulant protein deficiencies were alsoassessed. We tested our patients for the G20210Amutation at Beaujon Hospital. Imaging procedures wereperformed to determine a local cause of BCS, such as ahydatid cyst or a liver ***： One hundred and fifteen patients wereincluded. Mean follow up： 32.12 mo. Mean age： 34.41years, M/F = 0.64. Chronic presentation was frequent：63.5%. The revealing symptoms for the BCS wereascites （74.8%） and abdominal pain （42.6%）. Themost common site of thrombosis was the hepatic veins（72.2%）. Involvement of the inferior vena cava alonewas observed in 3 patients. According to the radiologicalinvestigations, BCS was primary in 94.7% of the cases（n = 109） and secondary in 5.2% （n = 6）. An aetiologywas identified in 77.4% of the patients （n = 89）; itwas multifactorial in 27% （n = 31）. The predominantaetiology of BCS in our patients was a myeloproliferativedisease, observed in 34.6% of cases. APLS was foundin 21.7% and celiac disease in 11.4%. Background:Psoriasis is a chronic inflammatory skin disease,affecting about 0.6%of the Chinese *** patients are not well controlled by conventional treatments,thus there is need for new treatment *** this study,we assessed the efficacy and safety of secukinumab in Chinese patients with moderate to severe plaque ***:This study was a 52-week,multicentre,randomized,double-blind,placebo-controlled,parallel-group,Phase 3 trial.A sub-population of study participants(≥18 years)of Chinese ethnicity were randomized to receive subcutaneous injections of 300 or 150 mg secukinumab,or *** co-primary endpoints were psoriasis area severity index(PASI)75 and Investigator’s Global Assessment(IGA)0/1 at Week ***:A total of 441 Chinese patients were enrolled in this ***-primary outcomes were achieved;300 and 150 mg secukinumab were superior to placebo as shown in the proportion of patients that achieved PASI 75(97.7%and 87.2%vs.3.7%,respectively;P<0.001),and IGA 0/1(82.3%and 69.7%vs.2.7%;P<0.001)at Week *** efficacy was maintained until Week *** was no increase in overall adverse events with secukinumab relative to placebo throughout the 52-week ***:Secukinumab is highly effective and well tolerated in Chinese patients with moderate to severe plaque psoriasis.
