Characteristics of dissolved sugars in the Southern Yap Trench from sea surface to hadal zone

2,4,6-Tripyridine-s-triazine(TPTZ)spectrophotometric method was applied to determine the concentrations of dissolved monosaccharides(MCHO),polysaccharides(PCHO),and total carbohydrate(TCHO)in seawater samples collected from sea surface to hadal zone and sediment-seawater interface of the Southern Yap Trench in the Western Pacific *** show that the concentrations of MCHO,PCHO,and TCHO ranged from 6.3 to 22.3μmol C/L,1.1 to 25.4μmol C/L,and 12.1 to 44.9μmol C/L,respectively,from the euphotic layer to the hadal zone of the *** different sampling stations,the concentrations of MCHO,PCHO,and TCHO in the seawater showed complex vertical variation characteristics,but the overall variation trends were decreasing with water *** the Southern Yap Trench,the maximum concentration of MCHO in the seawater appeared in the euphotic layer,and the minimum in the hadal *** maximum concentration of PCHO appeared in the euphotic layer,and the minimum in the bathypelagic *** water layer where the maxima and minima of the average concentration of TCHO appeared was consistent with that of *** was the major component of TCHO in the seawater of the Southern Yap *** the seawater from the sediment-seawater interface,the concentrations of MCHO,PCHO,and TCHO ranged from 8.4 to 10.6μmol C/L,3.8 to 5.8μmol C/L,and 12.2 to 15.2μmol C/L,respectively,and MCHO was the major component of *** key factors affecting the concentration and existing forms of dissolved sugars in the seawater of the Southern Yap Trench included photosynthesis,respiration,polysaccharide hydrolysis,adsorption and desorption of particulate matter,trench“funnel effect”,deep ocean currents,sediment resuspension,and *** study provided fundamental data about labile organic matter in abyss and hadal zone of marine environment,which is significant for further understanding of deep-sea organic carbon cycle.

Geochemical characteristics of hadal sediment in the northern Yap Trench

Two sediment cores were retrieved in the hadal zone of the Yap Trench,and their concentrations of six major elements Mg,Al,Ca,Ti,Mn and Fe and nine trace elements Sr,Ba,Pb,V,Cr,Co,Ni,Cu and Zn were determined in inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectrometry(ICP-AES).According to the vertical distribution profiles of the 15 elements,the correlation of their concentrations,the ratios of Ni/Co,V/Cr,Fe/Al,and Ti/Al,and morphological characteristics of the sediment samples,the implications of the depositional environment and the sediment provenance were *** results show that the ratio of Ni/Co in all depths of the two sediment cores were below 5,and the ratio of V/Cr were lower than 2,indicating that the depositional environment of the hadal zone in the trench was oxidative and might have inflow of the Antarctic bottom oxygen-rich *** sediment samples on the eastern side of the trench were siliceous mud mainly composed of diatoms,radiolarian,and sponge needles from surface to deep *** vertical profile of the elements,the concentration of TOC and the fossil record indicated that the sediment sample from station Dive113 was well mixed from surface to bottom *** on the correlation of concentrations of the elements,the morphological characteristics of the sediment,and the ratios of Fe/Al and Ti/Al,we inferred that the sediment in the hadal zone of the trench had terrestrial,volcanic,biological,and authigenic *** source of the sediment in the eastern side of the trench were terrestrial;whereas the sediment in the western side of the trench received more volcaniclastic input.

The concentrations of dissolved monosaccharides(MCHO),polysaccharides(PCHO),and total carbohydrates(TCHO)in the seawater samples collected from the north of the Yap Trench in the western Pacific Ocean were measured by 2,4,6-tripyridine-s-triazine(TPTZ)spectrophotometry *** results show that the concentrations of MCHO,PCHO,and TCHO ranged from 4.6 to 22.1μmol C/L,3.5 to 27.3μmol C/L,and 13.8 to 36.3μmol C/L,*** different sampling stations,the concentrations of MCHO,PCHO,and TCHO with water depth showed complex variation *** the study area,the maximum concentrations of MCHO,PCHO,and TCHO occurred in the euphotic layer and the minimum concentrations occurred in mesopelagic seawater ***,the concentrations of MCHO,PCHO,and TCHO decreased with water depth from the euphotic layer to the hadal *** average value of PCHO/TCHO was higher than the average value of MCHO/TCHO,indicating that PCHO was the main component of TCHO in north of the Yap Trench.

新疆制干辣椒品质综合评价及加工适宜性分析

为筛选加工专用的辣椒品种,以新疆主栽的12个干椒品种为材料,比较各品种间品质指标差异,并通过主成分分析和聚类分析对12份辣椒资源进行品质综合评价和加工适宜性分析。结果表明,不同品种辣椒间各项指标存在不同程度差异,裕红113号的单果重(6.166 g)最大,长线1号的果形指数(14.322)最大,可溶性还原糖含量(354.311 mg/g)最高,大叶朝天椒的可食率(96.973%)最高。通过比较色差、粗脂肪、辣椒素等16个指标的变异系数,发现辣椒素含量的变异系数最大,高达76.104%。12份辣椒的平均隶属度相差0.203,表明品种间差异明显;主成分分析提取出4个主成分,累计贡献率达88.369%,得到品质较优的品种有红素三号、长线1号、红安6号、聚源5号、红龙23号。经R型聚类筛选出辣椒品质的核心指标为单果重、辣椒红素、脂肪、维生素C含量、a*,经Q型聚类将12种辣椒聚为4类。经综合分析发现:线椒适宜做发酵辣椒酱、辣椒丝和油辣椒的原料;朝天椒适宜提取辣椒碱,也可作为制粉、辣椒油等调味料的原料;板椒适宜辣椒红色素的提取。红素三号是12份辣椒中品质最优、最适宜制干的辣椒品种。

A lasting imbalance between fatty acid synthesis and consumption leads to non-alcoholic fatty liver disease(NAFLD),coupled with hepatitis and insulin *** the details of the underlying mechanisms are not fully ***,we unraveled that the expression of the transcription factor Zbtb18 is markedly decreased in the livers of both patients and murine models of *** Zbtb18 knockout promoted NAFLD features like impaired energy expenditure and fatty acid oxidation(FAO),and induced insulin ***,hepatic Zbtb18 overexpression alleviated hepato-steatosis,insulin resistance,and hyperglycemia in mice fed on a high-fat diet(HFD)or in diabetic ***,in vitro and in vivo mechanistic studies revealed that Zbtb18 transcriptional activation of Farnesoid X receptor(FXR)mediated FAO and Clathrin Heavy Chain(CLTC)protein hinders NLRP3 inflammasome *** key mechanism by which hepatocyte’s Zbtb18 expression alleviates NAFLD and consequent liver fibrosis was further verified by FXR’s deletion and forced expression in mice and cultured mouse primary hepatocytes(MPHs).Moreover,CLTC deletion significantly abrogated the hepatic Zbtb18 overexpression-driven inhibition of NLRP3 inflammasome activity in ***,Zbtb18 transcriptionally activates the FXR-mediated FAO and CLTC expression,which inhibits NLRP3 inflammasome’s activity alleviating inflammatory stress and insulin resistance,representing an attractive remedy for hepatic steatosis and fibrosis.

Physicochemical principles of hydrogen metallurgy in blast furnace

Based on the stoichiometric method and the free energy minimization method,an ideal model for the reduction of iron oxides by carbon and hydrogen under blast furnace conditions was established,and the reduction efficiency and theoretical energy consumption of the all-carbon blast furnace and the hydrogen-rich blast furnace were *** results show that after the reduction reaction is completed at the bottom of the blast furnace,the gas produced by reduction at 1600℃still has a certain excessive reduction capacity,which is due to the hydrogen brought in by the hydrogen-rich blast as well as the excess carbon monoxide generated by the reaction of the coke and the oxygen brought in by the *** the process of the gas with excessive reduction capacity rising from the bottom of the blast furnace and gas reduction process,the excessive reduction capacity of the gas gradually decreases with the increase in the dydrogen content in the *** the all-carbon blast furnace,the excess gas reduction capacity is the strongest,and the total energy consumption per ton of iron reduction is the *** shows that,for the current operation mode of the blast furnace,adding hydrogen in the blast furnace cannot reduce the consumption of carbon required for reduction per ton of iron,but rather increases the consumption of carbon.

Control Strategies for Digital Twin Systems

With the continuous breakthrough in information technology and its integration into practical applications, industrial digital twins are expected to accelerate their development in the near future. This paper studies various control strategies for digital twin systems from the viewpoint of practical *** make full use of advantages of digital twins for control systems, an architecture of digital twin control systems, adaptive model tracking scheme, performance prediction scheme, performance retention scheme, and fault tolerant control scheme are proposed. Those schemes are detailed to deal with different issues on model tracking, performance prediction, performance retention, and fault tolerant control of digital twin systems. Also, the stability of digital twin control systems is analysed. The proposed schemes for digital twin control systems are illustrated by examples.
