Mechanism of gas pressure action during the initial failure of coal containing gas and its application for an outburst inoculation

Faced with the continuous occurrence of coal and gas outburst(hereinafter referred to as“outburst”)disasters,as a main controlling factor in the evolution process of an outburst,for gas pressure,it is still unclear about the phased characteristics of the coupling process with in situ stress,which induce coal damage and ***,in the work based on the mining stress paths induced by typical outburst accidents,the gradual and sudden change of three-dimensional stress is taken as the background for the mechanical reconstruction of the disaster *** the true triaxial physical experiments are conducted on the damage and instability of coal containing gas under multiple stress ***,the response characterization between coal damage and gas pressure has been clarified,revealing the mechanism of action of gas pressure during the initial failure of *** the main controlling mechanism during the outburst process is elucidated in the coupling process of in situ stress with gas *** results show that during the process of stress loading and unloading,the original gas pressure enters the processes of strengthening and weakening the action ability *** the strengthening effect continues to the period of large-scale destruction of *** mechanical process of gas pressure during the initial failure of coals can be divided into three stages:the enhancement of strengthening action ability,the decrease of strengthening action ability,and the weakening action *** entire process is implemented by changing the dominant action of in situ stress into the dominant action of gas *** failure strength of coals is not only affected by its original mechanical strength,but also by the stress loading and unloading paths,showing a particularly significant *** stages can be divided during outburst inoculation *** is,firstly,the coals suffer from initial damage through the dominant action of in situ stress w

Design, synthesis and evaluation of genistein-polyamine conjugates as multi-functional anti-Alzheimer agents

A series of genistein-polyamine conjugates(4a–4h) were designed, synthesized and evaluated as multi-functional anti-Alzheimer agents. The results showed that these compounds had significant cholinesterases(Ch Es) inhibitory activity. Compound 4b exhibited the strongest inhibition to acetylcholinesterase(ACh E) with an IC_(50) value of 2.75 μmol/L, which was better than that of rivastigmine(5.60 μmol/L). Lineweaver–Burk plot and molecular modeling study showed that compound 4b targeted both the catalytic active site(CAS) and the peripheral anionic site(PAS) of ACh E. Besides, compound 4b showed potent metal-chelating ability. In addition, it was found that 4a–4h did not affect Hep G-2 cell viability at the concentration of 10 μmol/L.

Theoretical Study on the Structures,Spectral Properties,and Drugability of Xenicane-type Diterpenoids from Dictyota dichotoma

There are few reports on the relationship between the biological activity and structure of secondary metabolites from Dictyota dichotoma. In this work, the geometric and electronic structures, infrared spectra, ultraviolet spectra, 13C and 1H NMR spectra of 16 xenicane-type diterpenoids extracted from Dictyota dichotoma were studied by the density functional theory ωB97XD/6-311+G(2d,p) method. The analysis of the reactivity indices was carried out via the conceptual density functional theory. Furthermore, a pharmacodynamic evaluation was performed using ADME/Tox. The geometric structure analysis found that all 16 diterpenoids had the same unsaturated, branched chains and could be divided into two categories according to the ring size, including nine-membered and eight-membered rings. A hydroxyl group on the lactone ring reduced the stability of the compound. In contrast, a hydroxyl group on the parent ring had little effect on the compound's stability. The electrostatic potential results preliminarily predicted active sites for nucleophilic/electrophilic reactions. The fitting results of infrared and nuclear magnetic resonance(NMR) data showed that the theoretical values obtained by this method were consistent with the experimental values. The UV-visible absorption spectra showed that the solvent effects caused different redshifts of the absorption peaks. The absorption strength was enhanced. The sixteen diterpenoids displayed a strong absorption peak in the range of 180―200 nm, but the compound containing a carbonyl group presents a weaker absorption peak in the field of 200―240 nm. Compounds 9―11, 14, and 15 have better stability and reactivity with lower chemical potentials and higher electronegativity, electrophilic index, and hardness values. The local reactivity descriptors further identified nucleophilic/electrophilic reaction sites for the sixteen compounds. Influences of Film Thickness on the Electrical Properties of TaN_x Thin Films Deposited by Reactive DC Magnetron Sputtering

TaNx thin films were deposited on commercial polished Al2O3 ceramic substrates by reactive dc magnetron sputtering. The influences of the film thickness on the electrical properties of the samples were examined in detail. It is found that the film thickness does not influence the phase structures of the TaNx thin films. The sheet resistances of the samples shift from 173 Ω/sq. to 7.5 Ω/sq. with the film thickness shifting from 30 nm to 280 nm. With the increase of the film thickness from 30 nm to 280 nm, the temperature coefficient of resistance （TCR） of the samples shifts from negative value to positive value. When the film thickness is about 100 nm, TaNx thin films exhibits a near-zero TCR value （approximately -15×10^-6/℃）. This fact implies that TaNx thin films with a null TCR can be obtained by adjusting the film thickness. The variation in the electrical properties of the TaNx thin films with the film thickness can be qualitatively explained by the parallel connection of surface layer with high resistivity and negative TCR and TaNx layer with low resistivity and positive TCR.

Realization of Low in-Band Harmonic for Compact 6–18-GHz T/R Module Under TX-Mode Operation

Wideband high power amplifier(PA) with poor harmonic suppression will degrade the performance of the active electronically scanned array(AESA) due to its harmonic products falling into the operating bandwidth of a wideband T/R module. In view of this, a compact reconfigurable harmonic suppress circuit(HSC) is proposed to achieve low in-band harmonic for compact T/R module with multiple octaves under TX-mode operation. The HSC consists of eight microstrip resonant stubs with high impedance and multiple p-i-n switches. By controlling the p-i-n switches, the HSC can work in three states. When six of the used p-i-n switches are “ON” state, the corresponding microstrip resonant stubs are loaded onto the 50 Ω transmission line, which performs a bandstop filter(BSF). For verification, the HSC with bandwidth of 12–15 GHz/15–18 GHz is designed to apply to a 6–18 GHz T/R module. As a result, the second harmonic of 6–9 GHz transmitting signal can be suppressed below 32 d Bc when compared to the PA's fundamental output. While the p-i-n switches are “OFF” state, the HSC is almost the same as a 50 Ω transmission line, which will have a little effect on the 9–18 GHz transmitting signal. The measurement results approximately agree with the calculated results and simulated results, which demonstrate the validity of the proposed HSC.

Ginsenoside Rg3 inhibits colon cancer cell migration by suppressing nuclear factor kappa B activity

OBJECTIVE: To study the mechanism of the inhibitory effect of ginsenoside Rg3 on colon cancer cell ***: Transwell migration assays were performed to investigate the inhibitory effect of ginsenoside Rg3 on SW480 cell migration. Electrophoretic mobility shift assays(EMSAs) and dual luciferase reporter assays were used to study the suppression capability of Rg3 on nuclear factor kappa B(NF-κB) activity. Western blotting was adopted to determine protein ***: Two-hundred micromolar ginsenoside Rg3 significantly inhibited SW480 cell migration(P < 0.05). EMSA showed that Rg3 suppressed the DNA binding ability of NF-κB. Dual luciferase reporter assay showed that Rg3 decreased NF-κB-regulated gene transcription(P < 0.01). Western blots indicated that Rg3 down-regulated expression of the NF-κB-regulated matrix metalloproteinase 9,cyclooxygenase-2 and C-Myc. An NF-κB inhibitor,pyrrolidine dithiocarbamate,enhanced the inhibitory effect of Rg3 on SW480 cell ***: Ginsenoside Rg3 has a strong antitumor migration capability by suppressing NF-κB activity and expression of NF-κB-regulated gene products. It could be a good adjuvant for colon cancer patients during the course of chemotherapy.

Enhanced stability of Pt/Al_(2)O_(3) modified by Zn promoter for catalytic dehydrogenation of ethane

Catalytic ethane dehydrogenation(EDH) to ethylene over Pt-based catalysts has received increasing interests in recent years as it is a potential alternative route to conventional steam cracking. However, the catalysts used in this reaction often suffer from rapid deactivation due to serious coke deposition and metal sintering. Herein, we reported the effects of Zn modification on the stability of Pt/Al2 O3 for *** Zn-modified sample(PtZn2/Al2 O3) exhibits stable ethane conversion(20%) with over 95% ethylene selectivity. More importantly, it exhibits a significantly low deactivation rate of only 0.003 h-1 at 600 °C for70 h, which surpasses most of previously reported catalysts. Detailed characterizations including in situ FT-IR, ethylene adsorption microcalorimetry, and HAADF-STEM etc. reveal that Zn modifier reduces the number of Lewis acid sites on the catalyst surface. Moreover, it could modify Pt sites and preferentially cover the step sites, which decrease surface energy and retard the sintering of Pt particle, then prohibiting the further dehydrogenation of ethylene to ethylidyne. Consequently, the good stability is realized due to anti-sintering and the decrease of coke formation on the Pt Zn2/Al2 O3 catalyst.

PGAM5-Mediated PHB2 Dephosphorylation Contributes to Diabetic Cardiomyopathy by Disrupting Mitochondrial Quality Surveillance

Disruption of the mitochondrial quality surveillance(MQS)system contributes to mitochondrial dysfunction in diabetic cardiomyopathy(DCM).In this study,we observed that cardiac expression of phosphoglycerate mutase 5(PGAM5),a mitochondrial Ser/Thr protein phosphatase,is upregulated in mice with streptozotocin-induced ***,DCM-related cardiac structural and functional deficits were negated in cardiomyocyte-specific Pgam5 knockout(Pgam5^(CKO))*** stress impaired adenosine triphosphate production,reduced respiratory activity,and prolonged mitochondrial permeability transition pore opening in acutely isolated neonatal cardiomyocytes from control Pgam5^(f/f) mice,and these effects were markedly prevented in cardiomyocytes from Pgam5^(CKO) ***,three main MQS-governed processes—namely,mitochondrial fission/fusion cycling,mitophagy,and biogenesis—were disrupted by hyperglycemia in Pgam5^(f/f),but not in Pgam5^(CKO),*** the basis of bioinformatics prediction of interaction between PGAM5 and prohibitin 2(PHB2),an inner mitochondrial membrane-associated scaffolding protein,co-immunoprecipitation,and immunoblot assays demonstrated that PGAM5 dephosphorylates PHB2 on *** of cardiomyocytes with phosphodefective or phosphomimetic Ser91 mutants of PHB2 confirmed a critical role for PGAM5-mediated dephosphorylation of PHB2 in mitochondrial dysfunction associated with hyperglycemic ***,knockin mice expressing phosphomimetic PHB2^(S91D) were resistant to diabetes-induced cardiac *** findings highlight the PGAM-PHB2 axis as a novel and critical regulator of mitochondrial dysfunction in DCM.

During embryogenesis,hematopoietic stem progenitor cells(HSPCs)are believed to be derived from hemogenic endothelial cells(HECs).Moreover,arterial feature is proposed to be a prerequisite for HECs to generate HSPCs with lymphoid *** the molecular basis of hematopoietic stem cell-competent HECs has been delicately elucidated within the embryo proper,the functional and molecular characteristics of HECs in the extraembryonic yolk sac(YS)remain largely *** this study,we initially identified six molecularly different endothelial populations in the midgestational YS through integrated analysis of several single-cell RNA sequencing(scRNA-seq)datasets and validated the arterial vasculature distribution of Gja5+ECs using a Gja5-EGFP reporter mouse ***,we explored the hemogenic potential of different EC populations based on their Gja5-EGFP and CD44 expression *** hemogenic potential was ubiquitously detected in spatiotemporally different vascular beds on embryonic days(E)8.5–E9.5 and gradually concentrated in CD44-positive ECs from ***,B-lymphoid potential was detected in the YS ECs as early as E8.5 regardless of their arterial ***,the capacity for generating hematopoietic progenitors with in vivo lymphoid potential was found in nonarterial as well as arterial YS ECs on E10.0–***,the distinct identities of E10.0–E10.5 HECs between YS and intraembryonic caudal region were revealed by further scRNA-seq ***,these findings extend our knowledge regarding the hemogenic potential of ECs from anatomically and molecularly different vascular beds,providing a theoretical basis for better understanding the sources of HSPCs during mammalian development.
