Introduction:F isheries management is often data-limited,and conducted at spatial scales that are too large to address the needs of Indigenous peoples,whose cultures depend upon the local availability of marine ***:We combined Indigenous ecological knowledge with simulation modelling to inform modern fishery ***-structured interviews with Indigenous fishers in coastal British Columbia,Canada,uncovered severe declines in the abundance and catches of Dungeness crab(Cancer magister)since the *** modelled the current probability of"successful"crab harvesting trips-as defined by expectations from past catches by Indigenous fishers-using fishery-independent data from nine *** probabilities were very low(<20%)for all sites except ***:Our study highlights that local depletions,which Indigenous fishers attribute to commercial and recreational fisheries,have been widespread and undetected by federal managers who manage Dungeness crab at regional scales without fishery-independent ***,local depletions impacted the ability of Indigenous fishers to access traditional ***:Integrating Indigenous knowledge with scientific research is crucial to inform locally-relevant fisheries management and conservation.

Effect of ball scribing on magnetic Barkhausen noise （MBN） of conventional grain-oriented （CGO） and high- permeability grain-oriented （HGO） electrical steel was investigated. The results showed that after ball scribing, root mean square of MBN （MBNrms） of CGO electrical steel increased 9.8% with 4 mm scribing spacing at 1.2 T, and that of HGO electrical steel apparently decreased 17.3% with 16 mm scribing spacing at 1.2 T. Through the formation and development of free magnetic poles and secondary magnetic domains due to compressive stress, primary magnetic domain space of grain-oriented electrical steel becomes smaller, which reflects as a variation of MBN in the macroscopic magnetic properties. Through correlation formula derivation of MBNrms and equilibrium distance between domain walls, effect of domain refinement on grain-oriented electrical steel was also interpreted, and optimum equilibrium distance between domain walls was determined.

Microstructural evolution and mechanical properties of cryogenic rolled Fe-36Ni steel were investigated. The annealed Fe-36Ni steel was rolled at cryogenic temperature（ 123-173 K） with 20%- 90% rolling reduction in *** deformation process was accompanied by twinning at cryogenic temperature,and the mean thickness of deformation twins was about 200 nm with 20% rolling reduction. When the rolling reduction was above 40%,twinning was suppressed due to the stress concentration in the tested steel. Deformation microstructure of Fe-36Ni steel consisted of both twin boundaries and dislocations by cryogenic rolling（ CR）,while it only contained dislocations after rolling at room temperature（ RT）. The tensile strength of Fe-36Ni steel was improved to 930 MPa after 90% reduction at cryogenic temperature,while the tensile strength after 90% reduction at RT was only 760 MPa. More dislocations could be produced as the nucleation sites of recrystallization during CR process.

Global climate change and overgrazing are driving shifts in the plant composition of grassland com-munities,which may profoundly affect the function of grassland ecosystems in regulating runoff and soil ***,we examined the shift effects of normal hillslope alpine meadow to shrub and severely degraded meadow states on runoff and sediment generation under natural rainfall conditions,and determined the contributions of plant and soil properties changes to soil erodibility,runoff and sediment generation by in situ rainfall experiment and monitoring on the hillslope of Qinghai-Tibetan *** results showed that normal meadow shift into severely degraded meadow state,mean weight diameter,soil saturated hydraulic conductivity,soil cohesion and soil erodibility K-factor at the topsoil decreased by 70.3%,73.1%,80.3%and-13.1%,respectively,and when normal meadows shift into shrub meadow state,they reduced by 49.1%,-1.3%,49.4%,and-8.3%,*** and soil loss significantly changed by-40.0%and 177.8%when normal meadow shifted into a severely degraded meadow state,while runoff and soil loss significantly changed by+65.0%and+77.8%when normal meadow shifted into a shrub meadow *** findings highlight that the two divergent shifts both increased soil loss compared to the normal hillslope alpine ***,our results indicate that the divergent shifts of normal alpine meadows exacerbated soil erodibility and soil loss of hillslope alpine *** results obtained here offer a novel perspective on the regulation of runoff and soil erosion in the alpine meadow ecosystem.

Oncolytic virotherapy(OVT)is a novel type of immunotherapy that induces anti-tumor responses through selective self-replication within cancer cells and oncolytic virus(OV)-mediated ***,talimogene laherparepvec(T-Vec)developed by the Amgen company in 2015,is the first FDA-approved OV product to be administered via intratumoral injection and has been the most successful OVT ***,the systemic administration of OVs still faces huge challenges,including in vivo pre-existing neutralizing antibodies and poor targeting delivery ***,state-of-the-art progress has been made in the development of systemic delivery of OVs,which demonstrates a promising step toward broadening the scope of cancer immunotherapy and improving the clinical efficacy of OV ***,this review describes the general characteristics of OVs,focusing on the action mechanisms of OVs as well as the advantages and disadvantages of *** emerging multiple systemic administration approaches of OVs are summarized in the past five *** addition,the combination treatments between OVT and traditional therapies(chemotherapy,thermotherapy,immunotherapy,and radiotherapy,etc.)are *** but not least,the future prospects and challenges of OVT are also discussed,with the aim of facilitating medical researchers to extensively apply the OVT in the cancer therapy.

Jerusalem artichoke （Helianthus tuberosus L.） is a perennial tuberous plant rich in inulin and is a potential energy *** study was conducted in a semiarid region of the Loess Plateau to investigate variations in morphological and agronomic characteristics and yield performance of 59 Jerusalem artichoke clones collected from 24 provinces in *** germplasm we collected exhibited variations either in qualitative or in quantitative *** genetic variations （genotype coefficient of variation 〉20%） in the main stem diameter,main stem number per plant,branch number per main stem,tuber number per plant,tuber size,tuber yield,and top yield （i.e.,aboveground biomass） were found as *** clones had a tuber yield ranging between 9.1-10.6 t ha-1,7 clones had a top yield ranging between 18.1-31.3 t ha-1,and 15 clones had a total biomass yield （i.e.,tuber and top weight） between 25.0-35.0 t ha-1 on an oven-dried weight basis under the drought soil and climatic condition in the semiarid *** 59 Jerusalem artichoke clones were clustered into 8 groups based on 17 quantitative traits,and indicated that the most prevalent clones planted by farmers exhibited relatively low *** analysis was conducted on the morphology and agronomy of the *** investigation suggests possible genetic improvement of Jerusalem artichoke for a higher tuber yield or a top biomass yield,and as a promising application for inulin or bioenergy in semiarid regions.

Non-heading Chinese cabbage （Brassica carnpestris ssp. chinensis Makino） is one of the most important vegetables in eastern China. A genetic linkage map was constructed using 127 doubled haploid （DH） lines, and the DH population was derived from a commercial hybrid ＂Hanxiao＂（lines SW-13 x L-118）. Out of the 614 polyrnorphic markers, 43.49% were not assigned to any of the linkage groups （LGs）. Chi-square tests showed that 42.67% markers were distorted from expected Mendelian segregation ratios, and the direction of distorted segregation was mainly toward the paternal parent L-118. After sequentially removing the markers that had an interval distance smaller than 1 cM from the upper marker, the overall quality of the linkage map was increased. Two hundred and sixty-eight molecular markers were mapped into 10 LGs, which were anchored to the corresponding chromosome of the B. rapa reference map based on com- mon simple sequence repeat （SSR） markers. The map covers 973.38 cM of the genome and the average interval distance between markers was 3.63 cM. The number of markers on each LG ranged from 18 （R08） to 64 （R07）, with an average interval distance within a single LG from 1.70 cM （R07） to 6.71 cM （R06）. Among these mapped markers, 169 were sequence-related amplified polymorphism （SRAP） molecular markers, 50 were SSR markers and 49 were random amplification polymorphic DNA （RAPD） markers. With further saturation to the LG9 the current map offers a genetic tool for loci analysis for important agronomic traits.

TiO_2/Ag modified penta-bismuth hepta-oxide nitrate and its adsorption performance for azo dye removal

A modified hydrophilic penta-bismuth hepta-oxide nitrate （Bi5O7NO3） surface was synthesized via a precipitation method using TiO2 and Ag as modified agents. The synthesized product was characterized by different analytical techniques. The removal efficiency was evaluated using mono- and di-sulphonated azo dyes as model pollutants. Different kinetic, isotherm and diffusion models were chosen to describe the adsorption process. X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy （XPS） results revealed no noticeable differences in the chemical states of modified adsorbent when compared to pure BisOTNO3; however, the presence of hydrophilic centres such as TiO2 and Ag developed positively charged surface groups and improved its adsorption performance to a wide range of azo dyes. Dyes removal was found to be a function of adsorbent dosage, initial dye concentration, solution pH and temperature. The reduction of Langmuir 1,2-mixed order kinetics to the second or first-order kinetics could be successfully used to describe the adsorption of dyes onto the modified adsorbent. Mass transfer can be described by intra-particle diffusion at a certain stage, but it was not the rate limiting step that controlled the adsorption process. Homogenous behavior of adsorbent surface can be explored by applying Langmuir isotherm to fit the adsorption data.
