Temperature-swing adsorption(TSA)is an effective technique for CO_(2) capture,but the temperature swing procedure is ***,we report a low-energy-consumption system by combining passive radiative cooling and solar heating for the uptake of CO_(2) on commercial activated carbons(CACs).During adsorption,the adsorbents are coated with a layer of hierarchically porous poly(vinylidene fluoride-co-hexafluoropropene)[P(VdF-HFP)HP],which cools the adsorbents to a low temperature under sunlight through radiative *** desorption,CACs with broad absorption of the solar spectrum are exposed to light irradiation for *** heating and cooling processes are completely driven by solar *** tests under mimicked sunlight using the CACs show that the performance of this system is comparable to that of the traditional ***,under real sunlight irradiation,the adsorption capacity of the CACs can be well maintained after multiple *** present work may inspire the development of new temperature swing procedures with little energy consumption.

The use of single-atom cocatalysts plays a crucial role in enhancing artificial photocatalysis,where the precise construction of stable and efficient single-atom configuration is essential but remains ***,we report a simple one-step hydrothermal method for preparing single-atomic Mo modified ZnIn_(2)S_(4)(Mo-ZIS)nanosheets as a highly active photocatalytic hydrogen evolution(PHE)*** Mo substituting for portion of In atoms in ZIS nanosheets induces the spatial charge redistribution,which not only promotes the separation of photogenerated charge carriers but also optimizes the Gibbs free energy of adsorbing H*on S atoms at basal *** a result,Mo-ZIS exhibits an impressive PHE rate as high as 6.71 mmol·g^(−1)·h^(−1),over 10 times that of the pristine ZIS,with an apparent quantum efficiency(AQE)up to 38.8%at 420 *** study gains insights into the coordination configuration and electronic modulation resulting from single-atomic decoration,providing mechanistic cognitions for the development of advanced photocatalysts via non-precious metal atomic modification.

A proper dietary electrolyte balance(dEB) is essential to ensure optimal growth performance of piglets. In the low-protein diet, this balance may be affected by the reduction of soybean meal and the inclusion of high levels of synthetic amino acids. The objective of this experiment was to evaluate the optimal dEB of low-protein diets and its impact on the growth performance of piglets. A total of 108 piglets(initial age of35 d) were randomly divided into 3 groups with 6 replicates of 6 pigs each as follows: low electrolyte diet(LE group; dEB = 150 milliequivalents [mEq]/kg); medium electrolyte diet(ME group; dEB = 250 m Eq/kg);high electrolyte diet(HE group; d EB = 350 mEq/kg). Results indicated that the LE and HE diet significantly decreased the average daily gain, average daily feed intake, and crude protein digestibility(P ling pathway,which might be a key factor in the influence of the dEB on piglet growth performance and intestinal ***, second-order polynomial(quadratic) regression analysis showed that the optimal dEB of piglets in the low-protein diet was 250 to 265 mEq/kg.

Robust Composite Separator Randomly Interwoven by PI and Pre-oxidized PAN Nanofibers for High Performance Lithium-ion Batteries

Electrospun nanofibrous separators, despite lacking superior mechanical strength, have gained widespread attention with high porosity and facile processing. Herein, utilizing the fact that thermal imidization temperature of poly(amic acid)(PAA) into polyimide(PI) coincides with the pre-oxidation temperature of polyacrylonitrile(PAN) into carbon fiber, we proposed a new cross-electrospinning strategy to obtain a composite nanofibrous separator(PI/oPAN) randomly interwoven by PI and pre-oxidized PAN(oPAN) nanofibers, via synchronously electrospinning the PAA and PAN onto the same collector and then heat-treating for 2 h at 300 ℃. The resultant PI/oPAN separator was able to preserve high porosity(71.7%), electrolyte wettability and thermal stability of PI nanofibrous membrane, and surprisingly exhibited high mechanical strength,being 3 times of PI, which mainly because of the numerous adhesion points generated by the melting of PAN in the pre-oxidation process. Meanwhile, the polar groups of oPAN and 3D fibrous network enhanced the PI/oPAN separator's ionic conductivity and Li+ transference number, rendering the corresponding cell with more stable cycling performance than cells assembled with pure PI, PAN or commercial PP separator. Therefore, this work might provide a new avenue for the ongoing design and further development of LIB separators capable of high safety and high performance.

Rare earth co-doped phosphor for fluorescence intensity ratio(FIR) thermometer has gained increasing attention in recent years. Herein, the novel Tb^(3+)and Eu^(3+)co-doped K_(3)SrBi(P_(2)O_(7))_(2)(KSBP) phosphate phosphors were reported. The crystal structure of the title phosphor was determined using Rietveld refinement and proved to have a three-dimensional structure. The time-resolved spectroscopy reveals that there is almost no energy transfer between Tb^(3+)and Eu^(3+). More importantly, Tb^(3+)and Eu^(3+)emissions show different thermal quenching behaviors, which claims the potential of this material for application in optical thermometer. The FIR of the typical KSBP:0.02Tb^(3+),0.04Eu^(3+)sample demonstrates a polynomial relationship as a function of temperature and the absolute and relative sensitivity are0.025 K^(-1) and 0.59%/K, respectively. In general, our study reports a novel and potential KSBP:Tb^(3+),Eu^(3+)phosphate phosphor that is promising for use in high-sensitive FIR thermometers.

BACKGROUND Traditional lymph node stage(N stage)has limitations in advanced gastric remnant cancer(GRC)patients;therefore,establishing a new predictive stage is *** To explore the predictive value of positive lymph node ratio(LNR)according to clinicopathological characteristics and prognosis of locally advanced *** Seventy-four patients who underwent radical gastrectomy and lymphadenectomy for locally advanced GRC were retrospectively *** relationship between LNR and clinicopathological characteristics was *** survival analysis was performed using Kaplan-Meier survival curves and Cox regression *** Number of metastatic LNs,tumor diameter,depth of tumor invasion,Borrmann type,serum tumor biomarkers,and tumor-node-metastasis(TNM)stage were correlated with LNR stage and N *** analysis revealed that the factors affecting survival included tumor diameter,anemia,serum tumor biomarkers,vascular or neural invasion,combined resection,LNR stage,N stage,and TNM stage(all P<0.05).The median survival time for those with LNR0,LNR1,LNR2 and LNR3 stage were 61,31,23 and 17 mo,respectively,and the differences were significant(P=0.000).Anemia,tumor biomarkers and LNR stage were independent prognostic factors for survival in multivariable analysis(all P<0.05).CONCLUSION The new LNR stage is uniquely based on number of metastatic LNs,with significant prognostic value for locally advanced GRC,and could better differentiate overall survival,compared with N stage.
