Formation behaviors of rod-like reactive shaped charge penetrator and their effects on damage capability

Formation behaviors of rod-like reactive shaped charge penetrator(RRSCP)and their effects on damage capability are investigated by experiments and numerical *** pulsed X-ray technology and a spaced aluminum/steel plate with the thicknesses of 5 mm/100 mm are *** types of sphericalsegment aluminum-polytetrafluoroethylene-copper(Al-PTFE-Cu)reactive liners with Cu contents of 0%,46.6%,and 66%are fabricated and *** experimental results show that the reactive liners can form excellent rod-shaped penetrators with tail skirts under the shaped charge effect,but the tail skirts disappear over ***,rupturing damage to the aluminum plate and penetration to the steel plate are caused by the RRSCP *** simulation analysis,the RRSCP is formed by a mechanically and chemically coupled response with the reactive liner activated by shock in its outer walls and bottom and then backward overturning,forming a leading reactive penetrator and a following chemical energy *** unique formation structure determines the damage modes of the aluminum plate and the steel *** analysis indicates that the formation behaviors and damage capability of Al-PTFE-Cu RRSCP strongly depend on Cu *** increasing Cu content,the velocity,activation extent,and reaction extent of Al-PTFE-Cu RRSCP decrease,which contribute to elongation and alleviate the negative effects of chemical reactions on elongation,significantly increasing the length-diameter ratio and thus enhancing the capability of steel plate ***,the lower activation extent and energetic density will weaken the RRSCP's capability of causing rupturing damage to the aluminum plate.

Fatigue Crack Propagation Law of Corroded Steel Box Girders in Long Span Bridges

In order to investigate the fatigue performance of orthotropic anisotropic steel bridge decks,this study realizes the simulation of the welding process through elastic-plastic finite element theory,thermal-structural sequential coupling,and the birth-death element *** simulated welding residual stresses are introduced into the multiscale finite element model of the bridge as the initial ***,the study explores the impact of residual stress on crack propagation in the fatigue-vulnerable components of the corroded steel box *** results indicate that fatigue cracks at the weld toe of the top deck,the weld root of the top deck,and the opening of the transverse diaphragm will not propagate under the action of a standard vehicle ***,the inclusion of residual stress leads to the propagation of these *** considering residual stress,the fatigue crack propagation paths at the weld toe of the transverse diaphragm and the U-rib weld toe align with those observed in actual *** the absence of residual stress,the cracks at the toe of the transverse diaphragm with a 15%mass loss rate are categorized as type I ***,when residual stress is considered,these cracks become I-II composite *** stress significantly alters the cumulative energy release rate of the three ***,incorporating the influence of residual stress is essential when assessing the fatigue performance of corroded steel box girders in long-span bridges.

Urban-rural integration is an advanced form resulting from the future evolution of urban-rural ***,little research has explored whether urban and rural areas can move from dual segmentation to integrated development from a theoretical or empirical *** on the research framework of welfare economics,which offers an appealing paradigm to frame the underlying game between cities and villages,this study clarifies the ideal state of urban-rural *** then proposes a series of basic assumptions,and constructs a corresponding objective function and its ***,it assesses the possibility of seeing the transmutation from division to integration between urban and rural areas with continuous socio-economic *** authors argue that the ideal state of urban-rural integration should be a Pareto-driven optimal allocation of urban-rural resources and outputs,and the maximization of social welfare in the entire *** on a systematic demonstration using mathematical models,the study proposes that urban and rural areas can enter this ideal integrated development pattern when certain parameter conditions are *** general,this study demonstrates the theoretical logic and scientific foundations of urban-rural integration,enriches theoretical studies about urban-rural relationships,and provides basic theoretical support for large developing countries to build a coordinated and orderly urban-rural community with a shared future.

A Novel Supercapacitor Degradation Prediction Using a 1D Convolutional Neural Network and Improved Informer Model

Safety and reliability are crucial for the next-generation supercapacitors used in energy storage systems,while accurate prediction of the degradation trajectory and remaining useful life(RUL)is essential for analyzing degradation and evaluating performance in energy storage *** study proposes a novel data processing and improved one-dimensional convolutional neural network(1D CNN)-informer framework for robust RUL *** data preprocessing,all data from two structures are adjusted to a unified format,and cross-entropy loss is used to couple the 1D CNN and ***,the minimum-maximum feature scaling method is used for normalization to accelerate the training process in reaching the minimum cost function.A relative position encoding algorithm is introduced to improve the Informer model,enabling it to better learn the sequence relationships between data and effectively reduce prediction *** data in dif-ferent working conditions are used to validate the proposed *** with other existing methods,the maximum root mean square error is reduced by 32.71%,the mean absolute error is reduced by 28.50%,and R^(2) is increased by 4.79%.The strategy considers the complementarity between two single models,which can extract features and enrich local details,as well as enhance the model’s global perception *** experimental results demonstrate that the proposed model achieves high-precision and robust RUL prediction,thereby pro-moting the industrial application of supercapacitors.

A novel predictive braking energy recovery strategy for electric vehicles considering motor thermal protection

Braking energy recovery(BER)aims to recover the vehicle's kinetic energy by coordinating the motor and mechanical braking torque to extend the driving range of the electric vehicle(EV).To achieve this goal,the motor/generator mode requires frequent switching and prolonged operation during *** this case,the motor temperature will unavoidably rise,potentially triggering motor thermal protection(MTP).Activating MTP increases the risk of motor component failure,and the EV typically disables the BER ***,maximizing BER while reducing the risk of motor overheating is a challenging *** address this issue,this article proposes a predictive BER strategy with MTP using the non-smooth Pontryagin Minimum Principle(NSPMP)for ***,a Markov long short-term memory(MLSTM)model is designed to obtain future velocity ***,the BER problem with MTP in the studied EV is embedded in a model predictive control(MPC)***,under the MPC framework,the NSPMP strategy is proposed to resolve the problem of ***,the performance of the proposed strategy is verified through simulation and a hardware-in-loop *** results show that in two real-world driving cycles,compared to the rule-based strategy,the proposed strategy reduced power consumption by 1.24%and0.96%,respectively,and effectively limited motor ***,under global cycle conditions,this strategy demonstrated better MTP control performance compared to other benchmark strategies.
