Cadmium(Cd)and arsenic(As)co-contamination has threatened rice production and food *** is challenging to mitigate Cd and As contamination in rice simultaneously due to their opposite geochemical ***-loaded biochar with outstanding adsorption capacity for As and Cd was used for the first time to remediate Cd/As contaminated paddy *** addition,the effect of zero-valent iron(ZVI)on grain As speciation accumulation in alkaline paddy soils was first *** effect of rice straw biochar(SC),magnesiumloaded rice straw biochar(Mg/SC),and ZVI on concentrations of Cd and As speciation in soil porewater and their accumulation in rice tissueswas investigated in a pot *** of SC,Mg/SC and ZVI to soil reduced Cd concentrations in rice grain by 46.1%,90.3%and 100%,and inorganic As(iAs)by 35.4%,33.1%and 29.1%,respectively,and reduced Cd concentrations in porewater by 74.3%,96.5%and 96.2%,*** of 51.6%and 87.7%in porewater iAs concentrationswere observed with Mg/SC and ZVI amendments,but notwith *** acid(DMA)concentrations in porewater and grain increased by a factor of 4.9 and 3.3,respectively,with ZVI *** three amendments affected grain concentrations of iAs,DMA and Cd mainly by modulating their translocation within plant and the levels of As(Ⅲ),silicon,dissolved organic carbon,iron or Cd in *** three amendments(SC,Mg/SC and ZVI)have the potential to simultaneously mitigate Cd and iAs accumulation in rice grain,although the pathways are different.

Arsenic-vanadium polyoxometalates（POMs） represent a family of tremendous potential catalysts owing to their peculiar physical and chemical *** in CO2conversion,using POMs to catalyze the conversion of CO2and epoxide into chemical intermediates is the research ***,A new family number of arsenic-vanadium POMs,[N（CH3）4]4[As8V12O38（H2O）]·2H2O({As8V12O38}),was reported and characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction,fourier transform infrared spectroscopy,X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy,*** from other allotropicity,{As8V12O38}shows a different structure pattern with an I-43d *** obtained {As8V12O38} was employed as a catalyst for the *** initial catalytic reaction confirmed that {As8V12O38} can catalyze the formation of epoxy carbonate by using 1.01 kPa CO2and epoxide at 70℃.Furtherly,when added amine in the catalytic system,oxazolidinone could be obtained by high yields,which provides an efficient way to convert CO2into profitable ***,a possible catalytic reaction mechanism was proposed by using different characterization analyses.{As8V12O38} first catalyzes the epoxide and CO2to form an epoxy carbonate and then catalyzes epoxy carbonate and benzylamine into oxazolidinone.

Power synchronization: taming massive diversified serverless functions under power constraints

Carbon neutrality has become an important design objective worldwide. However, the on-going shift to cloud-naive era does not necessarily mean energy efficiency. From the perspective of power management, co-hosted serverless functions are difficult to tame. They are lightweight, short-lived applications sensitive to power capping activities. In addition, they exhibit great individual and temporal variability, presenting idiosyncratic performance/power scaling goals that are often at odds with one another. To date, very few proposals exist in terms of tailored power management for serverless platforms. In this work, we introduce power synchronization, a novel yet generic mechanism for managing serverless functions in a power-efficient way. Our insight with power synchronization is that uniform application power behavior enables consistent and uncompromised function operation on shared host machines. We also propose PowerSync, a synchronization-based power management framework that ensures optimal efficiency based on a clear understanding of functions. Our evaluation shows that PowerSync can improve the energy efficiency of functions by up to 16% without performance loss compared to conventional power management strategies.

Barrierless reactions of C2 Criegee intermediates with H_(2)SO_(4)and their implication to oligomers and new particle formation

The formation of oligomeric hydrogen peroxide triggered by Criegee intermediate maybe contributes significantly to the formation and growth of secondary organic aerosol(SOA).However,to date,the reactivity of C2 Criegee intermediates(CH_(3)CHOO)in areas contaminated with acidic gas remains poorly ***,high-level quantum chemical calculations and Born-Oppenheimer molecular dynamics(BOMD)simulations are used to explore the reaction of CH_(3)CHOO and H_(2)SO_(4)both in the gas phase and at the airwater *** the gas phase,the addition reaction of CH_(3)CHOO with H_(2)SO_(4)to generate CH_(3)HC(OOH)OSO_(3)H(HPES)is near-barrierless,regardless of the presence of water *** simulations showthat the reaction at the air-water interface is even faster than that in the gas *** calculations reveal that the HPES has a tendency to aggregate with sulfuric acids,ammonias,and water molecules to form stable clusters,meanwhile the oligomerization reaction of CH_(3)CHOO with HPES in the gas phase is both thermochemically and kinetically ***,it is noted that the interfacial HPES−ion can attract H_(2)SO_(4),NH_(3),(COOH)_(2)and HNO_(3)for particle formation from the gas phase to the water ***,the results of this work not only elucidate the high atmospheric reactivity of C2 Criegee intermediates in polluted regions,but also deepen our understanding of the formation process of atmospheric SOA induced by Criegee intermediates.

Facilitation of microbialite development by continental weathering in the Cambrian Zhangxia Formation,southern North China Block

We report geochemical data for carbonate rocks from the Cambrian Zhangxia Formation,southern North China Block,including trace-element contents and C,O,and Sr isotopic compositions,to determine the controls on the development of microbialites in this *** sedimentary environment of the Zhangxia Formation evolved from carbonate-slope through platform-margin-reef to ooid-shoal,and then to open-platform settings,corresponding to the development of micrites,microbialites,and oolitic *** data show that δ13C values decrease upwards through the Zhangxia Formation,from 0.99‰to-1.59‰,whereas δ18O values increase from-9.91‰to-7.10‰.Total rare earth element （REE）contents decrease upwards through the stratigraphy,and the contents of Th and Sc show a similar trend.87Sr/86Sr ratios reach a maximum of 0.710544 in the horizons of microbialite development,Member 2 of the Zhangxia Formation,above which the ratios are uniform,with a mean value of *** these geochemical data with the inferred sedimentary evolution,the Zhangxia Formation is interpreted to have formed in a depositional environment that changed from transgression to *** weathering played a crucial role in promoting the input of terrigenous materials,which in turn favored the development of microbialites during the early stage of deposition of the Zhangxia Formation.

着力推进城乡融合、区域协调发展,是中国内需增长最大的潜能所在。本文以东西部协作政策实施作为准自然实验,考察了县域结对帮扶对受援县城乡融合发展的影响,并着重分析了不同结对模式对受援县城乡融合发展的异质性影响。研究发现:东西部协作政策的实施,显著提升了受援县城乡融合发展水平,且主要通过人的融合、经济融合和社会融合三个维度共同发挥作用。该结论通过了一系列稳健性检验。异质性分析进一步表明,结对帮扶时间越长、双方产业互补度越高,东西部协作政策实施的效果越明显;而财政帮扶强度和双方经济差距则并非越大越好,二者均在程度适中的组别效果最佳。本文结论不仅有助于深入理解东西部协作政策实施对受援县城乡融合发展的影响及其作用机制,丰富跨地区协作的效应研究,也为优化东西部协作帮扶模式与结对关系提供了政策借鉴。

Tuojiang River Basin is a first-class tributary of the upper reaches of the Yangtze River—which is the longest river in *** phytoplankton are sensitive indicators of trophic changes inwater bodies,characterizing phytoplankton communities and their growth influencing factors in polluted urban rivers can provide new ideas for pollution ***,we used direct microscopic count and environmental DNA(eDNA)metabarcoding methods to investigate phytoplankton community structure in Tuojiang River Basin(Chengdu,Sichuan Province,China).The association between phytoplankton community structure and water environmental factors was evaluated by Mantel *** environmental monitoring data were used to pinpoint major factors that influenced phytoplankton growth based on structural equation *** the phylum level,the dominant phytoplankton taxa identified by the conventional microscopic method mainly belonged to Bacillariophyta,Chlorophyta,and Cyanophyta,in contrast with Chlorophyta,Dinophyceae,and Bacillariophyta identified by eDNA ***α-diversity analysis,eDNA metabarcoding detected greater species diversity and achieved higher precision than the microscopic *** growth was largely limited by phosphorus based on the nitrogen-to-phosphorus ratios>16:1 in all water *** analysis and structural equation modeling also confirmed that the nitrogen-to-phosphorus ratio was the principal factor influencing phytoplankton *** results could be useful for implementing comprehensive management of the river basin *** is recommended to control the discharge of point-and surface-source pollutants and the concentration of dissolved oxygen in areas with excessive nutrients(e.g.,Jianyang-Ziyang).Algae monitoring techniques and removal strategies should be improved in 201 Hospital,Hongrihe Bridge and Colmar Town areas.

A Mn-porphyrinic metal–organic framework immobilizing glucose oxidase for combined photodynamic/chemodynamic/starvation therapy

The combination of photodynamic therapy（PDT） and chemodynamic therapy（CDT） in tumor treatment has attracted considerable ***,tumor hypoxia and glutathione（GSH） overproduction in the tumor tissue restricted the progress of their ***,a Mn-porphyrinic metal-organic framework（Mn-TCPP） was constructed by the one-pot method and further used for immobilizing glucose oxidase（GOx） to obtain GOx@*** would rapidly exhaust endogenous glucose into hydrogen peroxide（H2O2） and gluconic acid,thus shutting off the energy supply of tumor cells for starvation ***-TCPP catalyzed H2O2to produce oxygen,regulating the hypoxic tumor microenvironment and in turn improving1O2generation under laser ***,Mn-TCPP can reduce reactive oxygen species consumption owing to the redox reaction between Mn3+and GSH,thus greatly enhancing ***,benefiting from GOx-mediated starvation therapy,Mn2+produced by Mn3+reduction can react with sufficient intracellular H2O2to generate ·OH with high cytotoxicity through a Fenton-like *** treatment by GOx@Mn-TCPP under laser irradiation in vitro,the cell viability of 4T1 and A549 tumor cells reached to 20%,reflecting GOx@Mn-TCPP could give full play to the advantages of PDT/CDT/starvation *** results in vivo demonstrated that GOx@Mn-TCPP mediated synergistic cascade therapy could significantly inhibit tumor growth and improve the therapeutic effect.

Successful emergency surgical intervention in acute non-STsegment elevation myocardial infarction with rupture:A case report

BACKGROUND The incidence of acute myocardial infarction(AMI)is rising,with cardiac rupture accounting for approximately 2%of deaths in patients with acute ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction(STEMI).Ventricular free wall rupture(FWR)occurs in approximately 2%of AMI patients and is notably rare in patients with *** of cardiac rupture include left ventricular FWR,ventricular septal rupture,and papillary muscle *** FWR usually leads to acute cardiac tamponade or electromechanical dissociation,where standard resuscitation efforts may not be *** septal rupture and papillary muscle rupture often result in refractory heart failure,with mortality rates over 50%,even with surgical or percutaneous repair *** SUMMARY We present a rare case of an acute non-STEMI patient who suffered sudden FWR causing cardiac tamponade and loss of consciousness immediate before undergoing coronary *** resuscitation and emergency open-heart repair along with coronary artery bypass grafting resulted in successful patient *** This case emphasizes the risks of AMI complications,shares a successful treatment scenario,and discusses measures to prevent such complications.

Promotional effect of stannum on Pd/CeO2 catalysts for CO and C3H6 co-oxidation

The successful control of hydrocarbon and CO emissions from low-temperature diesel exhausts requires the use of highly active co-oxidation *** this study,Sn was used to enhance the catalytic performance of Pd/CeO2in CO and C3H6co-oxidation ***2with added stannum（Sn） was prepared as a support using the co-precipitation method,and Pd was loaded onto the support using the impregnation *** Sn addition（the optimal Ce/Sn ratio is 0.75:0.25）,the T50values of CO and C3H6are reduced by 20 and 32℃,respectively.A series of characterization methods indicates that the addition of Sn to the support greatly enhances its lattice oxygen mobility and increases the proportion of *** the co-oxidation process,stronger lattice oxygen mobility allows CO to react faster through the Mars-van Krevelen mechanism,weakening the competition with C3H6for O2.A higher PdO content enhances the C3H6oxidation ***,CO can more readily reduce PdO than Pd2+in solid solution with the support,which consequently further enhances co-oxidation ***,the addition of Sn is a simple and effective strategy for enhancing the performance of Pd/CeO2catalysts in CO and C3H6co-oxidation ***,the promotional effect of CO achieved in this study contributes to a deeper understanding of the interactions that occur during the co-oxidation of C3H6and CO.
