Acute ischemic stroke is a clinical emergency and a condition with high morbidity,mortality,and *** predictive,diagnostic,and prognostic biomarkers and effective therapeutic targets for acute ischemic stroke remain *** innovations in high-throughput gene sequencing analysis,many aberrantly expressed non-coding RNAs(ncRNAs)in the brain and peripheral blood after acute ischemic stroke have been found in clinical samples and experimental *** expressed ncRNAs in the post-stroke brain were demonstrated to play vital roles in pathological processes,leading to neuroprotection or deterioration,thus ncRNAs can serve as therapeutic targets in acute ischemic ***,distinctly expressed ncRNAs in the peripheral blood can be used as biomarkers for acute ischemic stroke prediction,diagnosis,and *** particular,ncRNAs in peripheral immune cells were recently shown to be involved in the peripheral and brain immune response after acute ischemic *** this review,we consolidate the latest progress of research into the roles of ncRNAs(microRNAs,long ncRNAs,and circular RNAs)in the pathological processes of acute ischemic stroke–induced brain damage,as well as the potential of these ncRNAs to act as biomarkers for acute ischemic stroke prediction,diagnosis,and *** from this review will provide novel ideas for the clinical application of ncRNAs in acute ischemic stroke.

LBE simulation of impinging stream inside a T-junction mixer

Lattice Boltzmann Equation(LBE) method is utilized to simulate impinging stream(IS) in a T-junction mixer using a TD2G9 model. It aims to investigate the influence of Reynolds number(Re), aspect ratio of outlet diameter to inlet diameter, ratio of opposite inlet velocities, and the thermal boundary conditions on flow, mixing and heat transfer characteristics. In particular, the vortex evolution, velocity distribution, mixing index and Nusselt number(Nu) distribution in the T-junction mixer are explored in details. Four types of vortices and flow regimes are observed. The instantaneous and time-averaged flow and thermal fields,including vortex structure, transition of flow regimes, streamline and the Nusselt number distribution are discussed. Distinct quantitative transitions, even for dramatic change, are observed near the critical Re. At a low or moderate aspect ratio, the symmetric coherent structure is observed in an unstable flow regime. At a larger aspect ratio, the flow in the T-mixer becomes turbulent and asymmetric. The unequal injections velocities of the nozzles impose significant influence on the flow structure,mixing and heat transfer in vertical tube. Using larger difference between the two inlet velocities can result in more obvious change in flow characteristics. Moreover, mixing index is found to be valid in evaluating the mixing degree under a sinusoidal inlet velocity.

In this work,the influence of the Zener-Hollomon(Z)parameter on the microstructure and mechanical properties of copper subjected to friction stir welding(FSW)was *** N2 cooling was conducted to control the cooling rate after the *** obtained results demonstrate that the Z parameter was dependent on the tool rotation rate during the FSW,i.e.,a higher tool rotating rate resulted in a lower Z *** grain size in the stir zone decreased with the increase in the Z *** relationship between the yield strength and the Z parameter is established asσ0.2=σ0+*** relationship exhibited two different plots under the conditions of air cooling and liquid N2 *** at a similar Z parameter,a significant yield strength difference occurred because massive dislocations,which were caused by the prevention of the post-annealing effect,were maintained in the stir *** study suggests that the influence of the post-annealing effect should not be neglected when analyzing the relationship between the Z parameter,micro structure,and mechanical properties.

Effect of Low-Frequency Power on Etching Characteristics of 6H-SiC in C4F8/Ar Dual-Frequency Capacitively Coupled Plasma

Dry etching of 6H silicon carbide （6H-SiC） wafers in a C4Fs/Ar dual-frequency capacitively coupled plasma （DF-CCP） was investigated. Atomic force microscopy （AFM） and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy （XPS） were used to measure the SiC surface structure and compositions, respectively. Optical emission spectroscopy （OES） was used to measure the relative concentration of F radicals in the plasma. It was found that the roughness of the etched SiC surface and the etching rate are directly related to the power of low-frequency （LF） source. At lower LF power, a smaller surface roughness and a lower etching rate are obtained due to weak bombardment of low energy ions on the SiC wafers. At higher LF power the etching rate can be efficiently increased, but the surface roughness increases too. Compared with other plasma dry etching methods, the DF-CCP can effectively inhibit CχFγ films＇ deposition, and reduce surface residues.

Full counting statistics of phonon transport in disordered systems

The coherent potential approximation(CPA)within full counting statistics(FCS)formalism is shown to be a suitable method to investigate average electric conductance,shot noise as well as higher order cumulants in disordered *** develop a similar FCS-CPA formalism for phonon transport through disordered *** a byproduct,we derive relations among coefficients of different phonon current *** apply the FCS-CPA method to investigate phonon transport properties of graphene systems in the presence of *** binary disorders as well as Anderson disorders,we calculate up to the 8-th phonon transmission moments and demonstrate that the numerical results of the FCS-CPA method agree very well with that of the brute force *** benchmark shows that the FCS-CPA method achieves 20 times more speedup *** features of phonon current cumulants are also revealed.

The conventional perception of astrocytes as mere supportive cells within the brain has recently been called into question by empirical evidence, which has revealed their active involvement in regulating brain function and encoding behaviors associated with ***, astrocytes in the basolateral amygdala have been found to play a role in the modulation of anxiety-like behaviors triggered by chronic stress. Nevertheless, the precise molecular mechanisms by which basolateral amygdala astrocytes regulate chronic stress–induced anxiety-like behaviors remain to be fully elucidated. In this study, we found that in a mouse model of anxiety triggered by unpredictable chronic mild stress, the expression of excitatory amino acid transporter 2 was upregulated in the basolateral amygdala. Interestingly, our findings indicate that the targeted knockdown of excitatory amino acid transporter 2 specifically within the basolateral amygdala astrocytes was able to rescue the anxiety-like behavior in mice subjected to stress. Furthermore, we found that the overexpression of excitatory amino acid transporter 2 in the basolateral amygdala, whether achieved through intracranial administration of excitatory amino acid transporter 2agonists or through injection of excitatory amino acid transporter 2-overexpressing viruses with GfaABC1D promoters, evoked anxiety-like behavior in mice. Our single-nucleus RNA sequencing analysis further confirmed that chronic stress induced an upregulation of excitatory amino acid transporter 2 specifically in astrocytes in the basolateral amygdala. Moreover, through in vivo calcium signal recordings, we found that the frequency of calcium activity in the basolateral amygdala of mice subjected to chronic stress was higher compared with normal *** knocking down the expression of excitatory amino acid transporter 2 in the basolateral amygdala, the frequency of calcium activity was not significantly increased, and anxiety-like behavior was ob

Improved Differential Evolution with Shrinking Space Technique for Constrained Optimization

Most of the current evolutionary algorithms for constrained optimization algorithm are low computational efficiency. In order to improve efficiency, an improved differential evolution with shrinking space technique and adaptive trade-off model, named ATMDE, is proposed to solve constrained optimization problems. The proposed ATMDE algorithm employs an improved differential evolution as the search optimizer to generate new offspring individuals into evolutionary population. For the con- straints, the adaptive trade-off model as one of the most important constraint-handling techniques is employed to select better individuals to retain into the next population, which could effectively handle multiple constraints. Then the shrinking space technique is designed to shrink the search region according to feedback information in order to improve computational efficiency without losing accuracy. The improved DE algorithm introduces three different mutant strategies to generate different offspring into evo- lutionary population. Moreover, a new mutant strategy called ＂DE/rand/best/l＂ is constructed to generate new individuals according to the feasibility proportion ofcurrent population. Finally, the effectiveness of the pro- posed method is verified by a suite of benchmark functions and practical engineering problems. This research presents a constrained evolutionary algorithm with high efficiency and accuracy for constrained optimization problems.

The synthesis of evolutionary biology and community ecology aims to understand how genetic variation within one species can shape community properties and how the ecological properties of a community can drive the evolution of a species.A rarely explored aspect is whether the interaction of genetic variation and community properties depends on the species'ecological *** we investigated the interactions among environmental factors,species diversity,and the within-species genetic diversity of species with different ecological *** high-throughput DNA sequencing,we genotyped a canopydominant tree species,Parashorea chinensis,and an understory-abundant species,Pittosporopsis kerrii,from fifteen plots in Xishuangbanna tropical seasonal rainforest and estimated their adaptive,neutral and total genetic diversity;we also surveyed species diversity and assayed key soil *** equation modelling revealed that soil nitrogen availability created an opposing effect in species diversity and adaptive genetic diversity of the canopy-dominant *** increased adaptive genetic diversity of *** led to greater species diversity by promoting *** species diversity reduced the adaptive genetic diversity of the dominant understory species,***,which was promoted by the adaptive genetic diversity of the canopy-dominant ***,such relationships were absent when neutral genetic diversity or total genetic diversity were used in the *** results demonstrated the important ecological interaction between adaptive genetic diversity and species diversity,but the pattern of the interaction depends on the identity of the *** results highlight the significant ecological role of dominant species in competitive interactions and regulation of community structure.
