K-theoretic classification of fermionic operator mixings in holographic conformal field theories

In this paper, we apply the K-theory scheme of classifying the topological insulators/superconductors to classify the topological classes of the massive multi-flavor fermions in anti-de Sitter(Ad S) space. In the context of Ad S/conformal field theory(CFT) correspondence, the multi-flavor fermionic mass matrix is dual to the pattern of operator mixing in the boundary CFT. Thus, our results classify the possible patterns of operator mixings among fermionic operators in the holographic CFT.

A new ternary Mg_(1.4)Co_(21.6)B_(6) compound in the Mg-Co-B system was synthesized via a conventional solid-state reaction method and the effect of Ni-substitution on its crystal structure,thermal stability,solid solubility and physical properties were systematically *** crystal structure of the Mg_(1.4)Co_(21.6)B_(6) compound was fully determined by the X-ray diffraction technique with Rietveld refinement *** is found that Mg_(1.4)Co_(21.6)B_(6) crystallizes in the form of C_(6)Cr_(23) structure type(space group:Fm-3m(No.225),a=10.5617(2)A,Z=4).The results showed that the 4a sites have been occupied completely by Co atoms in present compound which with M_(2-x)Ni_(21+x)B_(6) form belonging to the W_(2)Cr_(21)C_(6)-*** Mg_(1.4)Co_(21.6)B_(6) is repeatedly sintered at elevated temperatures,it becomes unstable and decomposes into Co3B and *** lattice parameters of the Mg_(1.4)Co_(21.6)B_(6) solid solution alters dramtically with increasing Ni substitution,with no regular trend being *** electrical and magnetic performances of the 3.6Mg:3Co:17Ni:6B and 3.6Mg:3Co:18Ni:6B(nominal compositions)samples suggest that both samples are typical ferromagnetic *** temperature in the maximum drop of theρ(T)curve decreases as a function of the Ni *** on the correlation between the critical temperature and Ni content,a linear fitting equation is obtained and the critical temperature of Mg_(1.4)Co_(21.6)B_(6) calculated utilizing the linear fitting *** findings in this work may provide certain reference values for material science on electrical magnetic properties and other references for researching the material further.

In two-dimensional(2D)material studies,tracking the anisotropic ultrafast carrier dynamics is essential for the development of optoelectronic ***,the anisotropic optical and electronic properties are investigated via either polarization-dependent Raman spectroscopy or field-effect transistors ***,study of the anisotropic transient carrier behaviors is still challenging,due largely to the lack of picosecond-resolved acquisition or programmable scanning capabilities in the current characterization *** this work,we select Ta_(2)NiSe_(5) as a model system to investigate the ultrafast anisotropic transportation properties of photo-excited carriers and transient polarized responses via a digital micromirror device(DMD)-based pumpprobe microscope,where the probe beam scans along the armchair and zigzag directions of a crystal structure via binary holography to obtain distinct carrier diffusion coefficients,*** results reveal the nonlinear diffusion behaviors of Ta_(2)NiSe_(5) in tens of picoseconds,which are attributed to the interplay between excited electrons and *** trend of the measured local polarization-dependent transient reflectivity is consistent with the polarized Raman spectra *** results show that the DMD-based pump-probe microscope is an effective and versatile tool to study the optoelectronic properties of 2D materials.

Confused geographical structure of a population and mitonuclear discordance are shaped by a combination of rapid changes in population demographics and shifts in *** this study,we generated a time-calibrated phylogeny of Scutiger boulengeri,an endemic Xizang alpine toad occurring in mountain streams on the Qinghai-Xizang(Tibet)Plateau(QTP).Based on three mitochondrial DNA(mt DNA)genes,eight clades were assigned to three deeply divergent *** of nuclear DNA(nu DNA)genes revealed three distinct clusters without geographic structure,indicating significantly high rates of gene *** theory framework analysis(approximate Bayesian computation model DIYABC and Migrate-N)suggested that divergence of the main intraspecific clusters was the result of hybridization after secondary contact in the Holocene around 0.59 million years ago(Ma).The ratio of mt DNA FST(fixation index)to nu DNA FST was 2.3,thus failing to show male-biased *** cline analysis showed that a wide hybrid zone was initially established in southwestern China,without significant reproductive isolation but with strong introgression in ***,suggesting high hybrid ***,mt DNA genes exhibited isolation by distance(IBD)while nu DNA genes exhibited significant isolation by environment(IBE).Results suggested that mitonuclear discordance may have initially been caused by geographic isolation,followed by precipitation-mediated hybridization,producing a wide hybrid zone and geographic structure confusion of nu DNA genes in *** study indicated that complicated historical processes may have led to specific genetic patterns,with a specific climate factor facilitating gene flow in the system.

The extra sediment load induced by typhoons and rainstorms in the Heshe River, Taiwan, are the principal reason for severe sediment-related disasters. The total sediment load during Typhoon Morakot in 9009 was 31 x lo6 m3, accounting for 95% of the annual sediment discharge. Large amounts of sediment load entered the Hoshe River, causing the braiding index （BI） to increase. Subsequently, the BI became positively correlated with the channel width in the Hoshe River. The specific typhoon and rainstorm events decreased after Typhoon Morakot, the sediment input decreased, inducing the fluvial morphology of the braided river to develop into a meandering river. The extra sediment load induced the deposition depth to increase and produce a headward deposition in the main channel and its tributaries. In addition, the river bend and the topographical notch restrained the sediment from moving downstream and being stored locally, indirectly increasing the erosion density of the river banks from 2.5 to lo.5 times.

Objective: This study aims to evaluate the impact and potential prognostic roles of the pre- and post-treatment Glasgow prognostic score (GPS) and the change thereof in patients with advanced head and neck cancer undergoing concurrent chemoradiotherapy (CCRT). Methods: We collected GPS and clinicopathological data of 139 stage III, IVA, and IVB head and neck cancer patients who underwent CCRT between 2008 and 2011. Their GPSs pre- and post-CCRT and the change thereof were analyzed for correlations with recurrence and survival. Results: The GPS changed in 72 (51.8%) patients, with worse scores observed post-CCRT in 65 (90.3%) of the GPS changed patients. Patients in the improved GPS group showed a tendency toward better survival. From the multivariate analysis, the post-CCRT GPS level was an independent prognostic factor in addition to tumor stage. Conclusions: After CCRT, a high GPS was revealed to be an important predictor of survival for advanced head and neck cancer.
