Hexavalent chromium(Cr(Ⅵ))is a water-soluble pollutant in soil and groundwater,the mobility,bioavailability,and toxicity of which can be controlled by transforming to less mobile and more environmentally benign Cr(Ⅲ)by ways of *** review focused on recent advances in identifying the reaction pathways,kinetics,and products of iron-based techniques for Cr(Ⅵ)*** also examines new information regarding remobilization of Cr(Ⅲ)in the existence of complexing ligands and manganese(Mn)of different oxidation states.A range of iron-based techniques can remove Cr(Ⅵ)from water by adsorption or reduction-coprecipitation ***,the success of a chromium treatment or remediation strategy requires the stability of the Cr(Ⅲ)-containing solids with respect to solubilization or reoxidation in the settings they are *** is ubiquitous in aquatic and terrestrial environments,and the redox cycling of manganese may greatly influence the fate,transport,and distribution of *** of redox reactions of chromium,iron,and manganese involves reaction pathways not only in the aqueous phase but also at solid-aqueous *** provide a quantitative understanding of these processes,it is essential to develop mechanistically based kinetic and transport *** research should be made on iron-based treatment of Cr(Ⅵ)-contaminated water and soils and the stability of the subsequently produced Cr(Ⅲ)-containing solids at environmentally relevant conditions,which will support improved predictions of chromium's environmental fate and transport and aid in decision-making for remediation and treatment of Cr contamination.

Influence of As_2O_3 combined with ginsenosides Rg3 on inhibition of lung cancer NCI-H1299 cells and on subsistence of nude mice bearing hepatoma

Objective:To study the effect of arsenic trioxide（As2O3）combined with ginsenosides Rg3 on inhibiting the NCI-H1299 lung cancer cells and subsistence in nude mice bearing ***:MTT method was used to measure the inhibition effect of（As2O3）combined Rg3 on NC1-H1299 cells,and the proliferation inhibiting effect was observed via establishing the transplanted tumor model in vitro.A total of 40 tumor-bearing nude mice were randomly divided into normal saline group,（As2O3）,Rg3 and As2O3+Rg3 *** tumor model of lung cancer in nude mice was constructed,followed by injection of certain concentrations of normal saline,As2O3,ginseng saponin Rg3 and As2O3+Rg3 every *** survival duration and the tumors size of the mice were recorded and the Kaplan-Meier curve was made;microscopic observation of apoptosis of tumor cells in vivo was done using TUNEL ***:After 72 h of *** rate of tumor cell in normal saline group,As2O3 ***3 group and As2O3+Rg3 group was（5.66±0.31）%,（65.58±4.75）%,（44.69±3.32）%and（82.67±5.43）%,*** rate of tumor cell in As2O3 ***3 groap and As2O3+Rg3 group was significantly higher than that of normal saline group（P<0.01）;inhibition rate of tumor cells of As2O3+Rg3 group was significantly higher than that of the two groups given As2O3 or Rg3 alone（P<0.01）.The tumor volume of As2O3 group,Rg3 group and As2O3+Rg3 group shrank to（65.38±3.25）%,（77.68±3.43）%and（42.65±3.55）%of the original,tumor volume of saline group was 1.21 times of the original size（P<0.01）;Median survival of saline group,Rg3 group,As2O3 group were significantly shorter than that of As2O3+Rg3 group（P<0.01）;co-ordinated intervention ability of As2O3+Rg3 on NCI-H1299 cell was significantly higher than that of As2O3 or Rg3,***:As2O3 combined with Rg3 can significantly inhibit prolifaration of NCI-H1299 cells in lung cancer,prolong survival fo tumor-bearing nude mice,and promote tumor cell

Objective:To investigate the effect of sevoflurane on tissue permeability of lung ische.iareperfusion injury(LIRI)in ***:A total of 45 wistar rats were randomly divided into3 groupsⅠ,Ⅱ,Ⅲ.Modified Eppinger method was adopted to establish the rat lung ische.iareperfusion injury ***Ⅰserved as the control group,groupⅡas ische.ia reperfusion group,groupⅢas sevoflurane ische.ia-reperfusion *** gas index,lung permeability index(LPI)change,lung tissue pathology change and lung water content were observed and compared between groups of rats at different time ***:During ische.ia reperfusion,all rats kept balance of the MAP during different time points,SPO_2 of groupⅡandⅢdecreased significantly thanⅠgroup(P<0.05);after reperfusion lung permeability index in GroupⅡandⅢwas higher than the control group significantly(P<0.05),120 min after reperfusion LPI change and iujury of groupⅢwas significantly lower thanⅡgroup(P<0.05);interstitial and alveolar cavity effusion in of groupⅢwere lower than that of groupⅡ.Conclusions:Sevoflurane pretreatment can reduce the lung tissue permeability,and LIRI plays a protective role in LIRI.

Lanthanum and boron co-doped BiVO_4 with enhanced visible light photocatalytic activity for degradation of methyl orange

BiVO4 photocatalysts co-doped with La and B were prepared by sol-gel method using citric acid as che.ate. The samples were characterized by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy （XPS）, X-ray diffraction （XRD）, scanning electron microscopy （SEM）, Bru-mauer-Emmett-Teller （BET）, UV-Vis diffuse reflectance spectra （DRS） and the photocatalytic activity was investigated by photo-catalytic degradation of methyl orange （MO）. The results showed that boron and lanthanum ions incorporated into the lattice of BiVO4, and co-doping led to more surface oxygen vacancies, high specific surface areas, small crystallite size, narrow band gap and intense light absorbance in visible region. And the doped La（III） ions could help the separation of photogenerated electrons. Com-pared with BiVO4 and B-BiVO4, the photocatalytic activity of La-B co-doped BiVO4 was remarkably improved due to the synergistic effects of the co-doped ions. The degradation rate of MO in 60 min was 98.4%when La doping content was 0.05 mol.%, which was much higher than that of pure BiVO4（20%） and B-BiVO4（37%）.

采用钛酸四丁酯和硝酸钡为主要原料的微波辅助草酸盐沉淀法,在最佳的工艺参数下合成晶粒尺寸约为30~50 nm的钛酸钡粉末。再通过对纳米粉体造粒、成型、排胶和烧结等工艺处理制备钛酸钡陶瓷。研究陶瓷的最佳烧结温度与烧结时间,并且讨论其对介电性能的影响规律。利用透射电子显微镜分析粉体的形貌,XRD和扫描电子显微镜分别分析陶瓷的物相和断面形貌。结果表明,利用微波辅助草酸盐沉淀法合成的粉体制备陶瓷的烧结温度为1270℃,烧结时间为3 h。并且其介电常数在室温下可达到2397.6。

While considerable progress has been made in the taxonomic studies of the genus Lycodon in Asia,questions remain to be clarified regarding the taxonomy of certain groups,particularly those containing species in *** only do many regions in China remain overlooked by herpetologists,resulting in the possibility of undiscovered new species,but the surveyed areas also have suspicious records of recognized congeners that require taxonomic *** both morphological and genetic data,we tackle these outstanding issues in the taxonomy of Lycodon in *** particular,we discover two new species of Lycodon:one from the previously neglected hot-dry valley in the northern Hengduan Mountain Region close to Tibet,and another recluse and cryptic species from the *** complex in the downtown park of a major city in southern Sichuan ***,we clarify the distribution of *** in China and resurrect and elevate its junior synonym subspecies,Dinodon septentrionale chapaense,as a full,valid species,and we synonymize the recently described *** to the resurrected *** ***..Lycodon chapaensis *** represents a new national record of reptilian fauna of ***,based on literature review,we also correct some of the erroneous records of *** and *** in China,point out remaining taxonomic issues of the genus for future research,and update the dichotomous key and distribution of the 20 species of Lycodon currently recorded from China.
