Role of bonding filling on HER/OER/ORR multifunctional catalytic activity in transition-metals-doped PdPX(X=S,Se,Te)

The development of stable and highly efficien multifunctional electrocatalysts for the hydrogen evolution reaction （HER）,oxygen reduction reaction （ORR） and oxygen evolution reaction （OER） are essential for the efficient conversion and storage of renewable *** significant advantages of single-atom catalysts,such as strong metal slab interactions,unsaturated coordination and efficient atomic utilization,have opened new avenues for designing multifunctional ***,based on density functional theory,a single atom doped PdPX system was designed as a multifunctional electrocatalyst,which demonstrated the synergistic effect between defects and transition metal atoms and led to enhanced catalytic *** results showed that PdPS/PdPSe with P/X vacancy,PdPTe with P/Pd vacancy and Co/Rh/Ir@PdPX exhibited promising HER ***@PdPS（Se）,with an overpotential of 0.56（0.44） V,was predicted to be a promising OER ***,Rh（Ir）@PdPS（Se）catalysts exhibited efficient catalytic properties for ORR Besides,Co@PdPS（Se）,Rh（Ir）@PdPSV（S）,Co@PdP-SeV（Se）and Ir@PdPSV（S）-1.xihibited multifunctional catalytic performance with moderate ***,the origin of catalytic activity was revealed by using the crystal orbital Hamilton populations *** a strong adsorption system,proper filling of the anti-bonding state can increase the energy of the system,weaken the adsorption strength,and facilitate the desorption of intermediates Conversely,augmenting bonding states can enhance its adsorption *** findings provide theoretica guidance for the design and fabrication of novel multifunctional electrocatalysts in terms of filling of bondingstate.

Mycoplasma pneumoniae(***)is one of the most important pathogens for community-acquired pneumonia worldwide,especially in children and adolescents[1.2].*** is easily transmitted through droplets or direct contact in densely populated,enclosed,or poorly ventilated *** incubation period is 1.3 weeks,and it is contagious from the incubation period to a few weeks after c{1.nical symptom *** infection can occur in any season,and there are differences in the epidemic seasons among regions in China[3].The most suitable culture temperature for *** is between 35℃C and 37 C,and therefore,hot weather may make it survive longer in the environment and spread *** is more common in autumn and winter in northern China,while it is more prevalent in summer and autumn in southern China.

Effect of navigation endoscopy combined with threedimensional printing technology in the treatment of orbital blowout fractures

●AIM:To explore the combined application of surgical navigation nasal endoscopy(NNE)and three-dimensional printing technology(3DPT)for the adjunctive treatment of orbital blowout fractures(OBF).●METHODS:Retrospective analysis was conducted on the data of patients with OBF who underwent surgical treatment at the Affiliated Eye Hospital of Nanchang University between July 201. and November *** control group consisted of patients who received traditional surgical treatment(n=43),while the new surgical group(n=52)consisted of patients who received NNE with *** difference in therapeutic effects between the two groups was evaluated by comparing the duration of the operation,best corrected visual acuity(BCVA),enophthalmos difference,recovery rate of eye movement disorder,recovery rate of diplopia,and incidence of postoperative complications.●RESULTS:The study included 95 cases(95 eyes),with 63 men and 32 *** patients’age ranged from 5 to 67y(35.21.1..75y).The new surgical group and the control group exhibited no statistically significant differences in the duration of the operation,BCVA and enophthalmos *** recovery rates of diplopia in the new surgical group were significantly higher than those in the control group at 1.o[OR=0.03,95%CI(0.01.0.1.),P1.,95%CI(0.03–0.36),P1.and 3mo after surgery were OR=0.08,95%CI(0.03–0.24),P1.95%CI(0.00–0.1.),Plications was lower in the new surgical group compared to the control group[OR=4.86,95%CI(0.95–24.78),P<0.05].●CONCLUSION:The combination of NNE and 3DPT can shorten the recovery time of diplopia and eye movement disorder in patients with OBF.

Neuropeptides are crucial in regulation of a rich variety of developmental,physiological,and behavioral functions throughout the life cycle of *** an integrated approach of multiomics,we identified neuropeptide precursors in the greater wax moth Galleria mellonella,which is a harmful pest of honeybee hives with a worldwide ***,a total of 63 and 67 neuropeptide precursors were predicted and annotated in the *** genome and transcriptome,in which 40 neuropeptide precursors were confirmed in the *** ***,we identified 1. neuropeptide precursor genes present in *** but absent in honeybees,which may be potential novel pesticide target *** hives were contaminated with heavy metals such as lead,enabling its bioaccumulation in *** bodies through the food chain,we performed transcriptome sequencing to analyze the effects of Pb stress on the mRNA expression level of *** neuropeptide *** treatment by Pb,the expression of neuropeptide F1.was found to be significantly downregulated,implying that this neuropeptide might be associated with responding to the heavy metal stress in *** study comprehensively identified neuropeptide precursors in ***,and discussed the effects of heavy metals on insect neuropeptides,with the example of *** results are valuable for future elucidation of how neuropeptides regulate physiological functions in *** and contribute to our understanding of the insect's environmental plasticity and identify potential new biomarkers to assess heavy metal toxicity in insects.

Polysaccharide of Alocasia cucullata Exerts Antitumor Effect by Regulating Bcl-2, Caspase-3 and ERK1.2 Expressions during Long-Time Administration

Objective: To study the in vitro and in vivo antitumor effects of the polysaccharide of Alocasia cucullata(PAC) and the underlying mechanism. Methods: B1.F1. and 4T1.cells were cultured with PAC of 40 μg/m L, and PAC was withdrawn after 40 days of administration. The cell viability was detected by cell counting kit-8. The expression of Bcl-2 and Caspase-3 proteins were detected by Western blot and the expressions of ERK{1. mRNA were detected by quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction(qRT-PCR). A mouse melanoma model was established to study the effect of PAC during long-time administration. Mice were divided into 3 treatment groups: control group treated with normal saline, positive control group(LNT group) treated with lentinan at 1.0 mg/(kg·d), and PAC group treated with PAC at 1.0 mg/(kg·d). The pathological changes of tumor tissues were observed by hematoxylin-eosin staining. The cell apoptosis of tumor tissues was detected by TUNEL staining. Bcl-2 and Caspase-3 protein expressions were detected by immunohistochemistry, and the expressions of ERK{1., JNK1.and p38 mRNA were detected by qRT-PCR. Results: In vitro, no strong inhibitory effects of PAC were found in various tumor cells after 48 or 72 h of administration. Interestingly however, after 40 days of cultivation under PAC, an inhibitory effect on B1.F1. cells was found. Correspondingly, the long-time administration of PAC led to downregulation of Bcl-2 protein(P 1.mRNA(P1.F1. cells. The above results were verified by in vivo experiments. In addition, viability of B1.F1. cells under long-time administration culture in vitro decreased after drug withdrawal, and similar results were also observed in 4T1.cells. Conclusions: Long-time administration of PAC can significantly inhibit viability and promote apoptosis of tumor cells, and had obvious antitumor effect in tumor-bearing mice.
