Aim:To investigate the effects of tanshinone ⅡA（Tan ⅡA）on the regulation ofthe production of endothelin（ET）-1（including large ET-1）,mRNA levels of ET-1,endothelin-converting enzyme-1（ECE-1）,endothelin-A receptor（ETA）andendothelin-B receptor（ETB）induced by TNF-α in rat brain microvascular endo-thelial cells（BMVEC）.Methods:The ET-1 release（including large ET-1）into theculture medium was determined by enzyme *** levels of ET-1,ECE- 1,ETA,and ETBmRNA were measured by *** receptor bind-ing was also ***:The induction of ET-1 release by TNF-α from cul-tured BMVEC was dose-dependently reduced by Tan IIA,but large ET-1 levelsprogressively increased in response to Tan ⅡA;the mRNA expression of ET-1 *** ⅡA also caused a decrease in ETAreceptor mRNA and ECE-1expression in a dose-dependent *** receptor binding was unal-tered in BMVEC stimulated with TNF-α alone or a combination of TNF-α and TanⅡ***:These findings suggest that Tan ⅡA may inhibit ET-1 produc-tion in TNF-α-induced BMVEC through the suppression of ECE-1 synthesis.

The solid solution and aging treatment for conventional manufacturing processes might not be suitable for laser additive manufactured titanium alloys due to the different lamellar *** this study,the influence of aging temperatures(600,700 and 800°C)on microstructure and mechanical properties of titanium alloy Ti-6Al-2V-1.5Mo-0.5Zr-0.3Si was *** results indicate that after solid solution treatment at 970°C followed by water quenching,the alloy mainly consists of coarsening lamellar a phase in martensite α' *** at 600°C will not change the size of primary lamellar α phase but lead to huge amount of secondary a phases(α_(s))generating with very fine *** increasing the aging temperature,the number of α_(s) decreases but with coarsened *** aged at 800°C,the width of the asphase reaches 350 nm,almost 7 times wider than that aged at 600°*** changing size of α_(s) obviously influences the property of the *** fine α_(s) leads to high strength and microhardness but low plasticity,and specimen aged at 700°C with suitable assize has the best comprehensive properties.

A regioselective C-C bond cleavage/aminocarbonylation cascade is presented. In recent years, tremendous progress has been made in the alkoxyl radical-mediated C-C bond cleavage of unstrained monocarbocycles. In contrast, the deconstruction and functionalization of bicyclic skeletons has been less developed and has mainly focused on the ring expansion process. Inspired by the aromatization-driven C-C bond cleavage, here we demonstrate a ring-opening/aminocarbonylation cascade under copper catalysis, in which the formation of a stable γ-lactam or succinimide skeleton reverses the selectivity of C-C cleavage. Remarkably, the photo and thermal assistance is not required when the succinimide skeleton is formed during the ring opening process. DFT calculations revealed that this unexpected ring-opening process is thermodynamically and kinetically favourable.

BACKGROUND Evaluating the psychological resilience of lung cancer(LC)patients helps understand their mental state and guides future ***,there is limited research on the psychological resilience of LC patients with bone *** To explore the psychological resilience of LC patients with bone metastases and identify factors that may influence psychological *** LC patients with bone metastases who met the inclusion criteria were screened from those admitted to the Third affiliated hospital of Wenzhou medical *** psychological scores of the enrolled patients were *** were then grouped based on the mean psychological score:Those with scores lower than the mean value were placed in the low-score group and those with scores equal to or greater than the mean value was placed in the high-score *** baseline data(age,gender,education level,marital status,residence,monthly income,and religious beliefs),along with self-efficacy and medical coping mode scores,were *** This study included 142 LC patients with bone metastases admitted to our hospital from June 2022 to December 2023,with an average psychological resilience score of 63.24±9.96 *** grouping,the low-score group consisted of 69 patients,including 42 males and 27 females,with an average age of 67.38±9.55 *** high-score group consisted of 73 patients,including 49 males and 24 females,with a mean age of 61.97±5.00 years.χ2 analysis revealed significant differences between the two groups in education level(χ2=6.604,P=0.037),residence(χ2=12.950,P=0.002),monthly income(χ2=9.375,P=0.009),and medical coping modes(χ2=19.150,P=0.000).Independent sample t-test showed that the high-score group had significantly higher self-efficacy scores(t=3.383,P=0.001)and lower age than the low-score group(t=4.256,P1).Furthermore,multivariate logistic regression hazard analysis confirmed that self-efficacy is an independent protective factor for psy

BACKGROUND The glycemic control of children with type 1 diabetes(T1D)may be influenced by the economic status of their *** To investigate the association between parental economic status and blood glucose levels of children with T1D using a mobile health *** Data from children with T1D in china's largest T1D online community,tang-tangQuan■.Blood glucose levels were uploaded every three months and parental economic status was evaluated based on annual household *** were divided into three groups:Low-income(100000 yuan)(1 Yuan=0.145 United States Dollar approximately).Blood glucose levels were compared among the groups and associations were explored using Spearman’s correlation analysis and multivariable logistic *** From September 2015 to August 2022,1406 eligible children with T1D were included(779 female,55.4%).Median age was 8.1 years(Q1-Q3:4.6-11.6)and duration of T1D was 0.06 years(0.02-0.44).Participants were divided into three groups:Low-income(n=320),middle-income(n=724),and high-income(n=362).Baseline hemoglobin A1c(HbA1c)levels were comparable among the three groups(P=0.072).However,at month 36,the low-income group had the highest HbA1c levels(P=0.036).Within three years after registration,glucose levels increased significantly in the low-income group but not in the middle-income and high-income *** economic status was negatively correlated with pre-dinner glucose(r=-0.272,P=0.012).After adjustment for confounders,parental economic status remained a significant factor related to pre-dinner glucose levels(odds ratio=13.02,95%CI:1.99 to 126.05,P=0.002).CONCLUSION The blood glucose levels of children with T1D were negatively associated with parental economic *** is suggested that parental economic status should be taken into consideration in the management of T1D for children.

Single wall carbon nanotube(SWCNT)/Si heterojunction photodetectors have the advantages of high photoresponse ability and simple structure,however,their detection wavelength range are usually lower than 1100 nm,which limits their application in the infrared *** report a SWCNT/Cu/Si photodetector with both a high photoresponse and a detection range up to the infrared band by depositing a Cu nanoparticles(NPs)layer between a SWCNT film and a n-Si *** was found that the Cu NPs produce strong surface plasmon resonance(SPR)under laser irradiation,which breaks through the limitation of Si band gap and greatly improves the photoresponse of the SWCNT/Cu/Si photodetector in the near infrared *** responsivity(R)of the photodetector in the wavelength range of 1850–1200 nm reached 2.2–14.15 mA/W,which is the highest value in the reported plasmon enhanced n-Si based photodetectors,and about 20,000 times higher than that of a SWCNT/Si *** R value for 1550 nm wavelength used in optical communications reached~8.2 mA/W,which is 64%higher than the previously reported values of commonly used *** attribute the significant increase to the strong SPR and low Schottky barrier of Cu with n-Si,which facilitates the generation and transfer of the carriers.

●AIM:To explore the combined application of surgical navigation nasal endoscopy(NNE)and three-dimensional printing technology(3DPT)for the adjunctive treatment of orbital blowout fractures(OBF).●METHODS:Retrospective analysis was conducted on the data of patients with OBF who underwent surgical treatment at the affiliated Eye hospital of Nanchang university between July 2012 and November *** control group consisted of patients who received traditional surgical treatment(n=43),while the new surgical group(n=52)consisted of patients who received NNE with *** difference in therapeutic effects between the two groups was evaluated by comparing the duration of the operation,best corrected visual acuity(BCVA),enophthalmos difference,recovery rate of eye movement disorder,recovery rate of diplopia,and incidence of postoperative complications.●RESULTS:The study included 95 cases(95 eyes),with 63 men and 32 *** patients’age ranged from 5 to 67y(35.21±15.75y).The new surgical group and the control group exhibited no statistically significant differences in the duration of the operation,BCVA and enophthalmos *** recovery rates of diplopia in the new surgical group were significantly higher than those in the control group at 1mo[OR=0.03,95%CI(0.01–0.15),Plications was lower in the new surgical group compared to the control group[OR=4.86,95%CI(0.95–24.78),P<0.05].●CONCLUSION:The combination of NNE and 3DPT can shorten the recovery time of diplopia and eye movement disorder in patients with OBF.
