One-step fabrication of cell sheet-laden hydrogel for accelerated wound healing

Full-thickness skin wounds are have continued to be reconstructive challenges in dermal and skin appendage regeneration, and skin substitutes are promising tools for addressing these reconstructive procedures. Herein, the one-step fabrication of a cell sheet integrated with a biomimetic hydrogel as a tissue engineered skin for skin wound healing generated in one step is introduced. Briefly, cell sheets with rich extracellular matrix, high cell density, and good cell connections were integrated with biomimetic hydrogel to fabricate gel + human skin fibroblasts (HSFs) sheets and gel + human umbilical vein endothelial cells (HUVECs) sheets in one step for assembly as a cell sheet-laden hydrogel (CSH). The designed biomimetic hydrogel formed with UV crosslinking and ionic crosslinking exhibited unique properties due to the photo-generated aldehyde groups, which were suitable for integrating into the cell sheet, and ionic crosslinking reduced the adhesive force toward the substrate. These properties allowed the gel + cell sheet film to be easily released from the substrate. The cells in the harvested cell sheet maintained excellent viability, proliferation, and definite migration abilities inside the hydrogel. Moreover, the CSH was implanted into a full-thickness skin defects to construct a required dermal matrix and cell microenvironment. The wound closure rate reached 60.00 ± 6.26% on the 2nd day, accelerating mature granulation and dermis formation with skin appendages after 14 days. This project can provide distinct guidance and strategies for the complete repair and regeneration of full-thickness skin defects, and provides a material with great potential for tissue regeneration in clinical applications.

分布式能源并网、辐射状与环状拓扑混合运行、量测误差等影响因素使得配电网在线拓扑难以准确获得。为此,文中提出了一种基于两阶段特征选择和格拉姆角场(GAF)的配电网拓扑辨识方法。首先,基于XGBoost和最大信息系数的两阶段特征选择方法筛选出不含冗余拓扑特征信息的重要量测。其次,基于GAF特征变换,将一维的配电网时间断面量测数据变换为二维的GAF,在保留时间断面的节点电压分布规律的同时,有效表征节点电压幅值分布中的拓扑特征信息。最后,设计了一种适用于拓扑辨识的三卷积层神经网络模型,凭借卷积和池化的运算特性以及抗噪性,稳定地提取GAF所蕴含的拓扑特征信息,从而准确建立配电网节点电压幅值分布到拓扑的映射关系。通过IEEE 33节点系统验证了所提方法的有效性,并分析了所提方法对不同噪声水平、数据缺失比例以及其他场景的适应性。

Performance of novel overhead crane fume-collecting hood for pollutant removal

In industrial buildings,the presence of overhead cranes severely affects roof exhaust ventilation systems when capturing and discharging fumes,resulting in severe deterioration of the indoor plant environment.In this study,an overhead crane-based ventilation auxiliary device,called overhead crane fume-collecting hood(CFCH),is proposed to guide pollutants blocked by the overhead crane back to the roof exhaust hood.The airflow characteristics and pollutant distribution under the three modes of no overhead crane,overhead crane,and overhead crane+CFCH were compared using numerical simulations.Subsequently,the effects of the CFCH length(a),width(b),and height(h)on the pollutant capture performance were determined through orthogonal experiments and computational fluid dynamics.Finally,the pollutant capture efficiency(PCE)of the optimal CFCH was investigated considering different exhaust airflow rates.The results showed that the pollutants captured by the CFCH can be classified into directly and secondary captured pollutants,with the directly captured pollutants dominating.In addition,with the introduction of different sizes of CFCH around the overhead crane girders,the PCE significantly improved by 49.9%–74.6%.The length,width,and height of the CFCH on the PCE were statistically significant,and the priority of the three factors was as follows:h>b>a.The PCE decreased with increasing a,initially increased and then decreased with increasing b,and increased with h.Subsequently,when the optimal CFCH was used,the excessive exhaust air rate had no evident PCE improvement.This provides a new concept for the control of pollutants in industrial buildings and provides a theoretical basis for the design of CFCHs.

A Spatiotemporal Causality Based Governance Framework for Noisy Urban Sensory Data

Urban sensing is one of the fundamental building blocks of urban computing.It uses various types of sensors deployed in different geospatial locations to continuously and cooperatively monitor the natural and cultural environment in urban areas.Nevertheless,issues such as uneven distribution,low sampling rate and high failure ratio of sensors often make their readings less reliable.This paper provides an innovative framework to detect the noise data as well as to repair them from a spatial-temporal causality perspective rather than to deal with them inclividually.This can be achieved by connecting data through monitored objects,using the Skip-gram model to estimate spatial correlation and long shortterm memory to estimate temporal correlation.The framework consists of three major modules:1)a space embedded Bidirectional Long Short-Term Memory(BiLSTM)-based sequence labeling module to detect the noise data and the latent missing data;2)a space embedded BiLSTM-based sequence predicting module calculating the value of the missing data;3)an object characteristics fusion repairing module to correct the spatial and temporal dislocation sensory data.The approach is evaluated with real-world data collected by over 3000 electronic traffic bayonet devices in a citywide scale of a medium-sized city in China,and the result is superior to those of several referenced approaches.With a 12.9%improvement,in data accuracy over the raw data,the proposed framework plays a significant,role in various real-world use cases in urban governance,such as criminal investigation,traffic violation monitoring,and equipment maintenance.

Risk Analysis of Information System Security Based on Distance of Information-State Transition

The configuration of information system security policy is directly related to the information asset risk, and the configuration required by the classified security protection is able to ensure the optimal and minimum policy in the corresponding security level. Through the random survey on the information assets of multiple departments, this paper proposes the relative deviation distance of security policy configuration as risk measure parameter based on the distance of information-state transition（DIT） theory. By quantitatively analyzing the information asset weight, deviation degree and DIT, we establish the evaluation model for information system. With example analysis, the results prove that this method conducts effective risk evaluation on the information system intuitively and reliably, avoids the threat caused by subjective measurement, and shows performance benefits compared with existing solutions. It is not only theoretically but also practically feasible to realize the scientific analysis of security risk for the information system.

Characteristics of CO_2 in unsaturated zone(～90 m) of loess tableland, Northwest China

In order to observe CO_2 characteristics in the unsaturated zone of loess tableland and further understand the carbon cycle,a series of tubes for gas monitoring and sampling were installed in an approximately 90-m deep Qiushe loess section of Lingtai County,Northwestern China.The results show that the concentration of CO_2 was higher in loess than in the atmosphere,reaching a maximum of 6970 lmol·mol^(-1).CO_2 concentrations in loess were higher in summer than in winter.The CO_2 in loess was related to organic carbon decomposed by microbes,and to the CaCO_3–H_2O–CO_2 system in the interface between the saturated and unsaturated zones.

Insights into Initial Demyelinating Episodes of Central Nervous System during Puerperium

Background：Inflammatory demyelinating disease of central nervous system （CNS） is an inflammatory disease characterized by a high childbearing female predominance.Labor-related alterations for postpartum demyelinating attacks are not entirely clear.This study aimed to summarize clinical features of female patients of reproductive age with initial CNS inflammatory demyelinating attacks during puerperium.Methods：Fourteen female patients with initial demyelinating events during puerperium between January 2013 and December 2016 were retrospectively studied.Records of clinical features,neuroimaging,serum antibodies,cerebrospinal fluid （CSF） findings,annualized relapse rate （ARR）,and treatment were analyzed.Results：Among 14 patients,5 patients were diagnosed with multiple sclerosis （MS）,four as neuromyelitis optica （NMO）,two as longitudinal extensive transverse myelitis,two as clinical isolated syndrome （CIS）,and one as acute brainstem syndrome.All the 14 puerperal female patients presented with more than one manifestation of hemiplegia,paraplegia,uroschesis,visual loss or dysarthria,and with mild to moderate abnormalities of CSF.Attacks occurred during the first trimester postpartum and cesarean section was the main delivery way （n =10）.Median Expanded Disability Status Scale （EDSS） scores were 5.0 （range：2.0-9.0） at the onset and 2.5 （range：0-7.0） at the end of follow-ups.Patients with MS and CIS had a significantly lower EDSS scores than patients with NMO spectrum disorders （P 〈 0.05）.Median ARR was 0.46 （range：0-1.16）;all patients had a low ARR （0.49 ± 0.34,95% confidence interval：0.29-0.69） with standardized treatments.Conclusion：Labor-related alterations in the mother＇s immune system might result in newly-onset demyelinating diseases of central nervous system.

Enrichment characteristics of normal-pressure marine shale gas in the complex tectonic zone: a case study of the Lower Cambrian Niutitang Formation in northern Guizhou

The Lower Cambrian Niutitang Formation is a crucial stratum for the exploration of normal-pressure marine shale gas in southern China， with great development potential. To research the normal-pressure shale gas accumulation of the Niutitang Formation in the complex tectonic zone， the shale cores in northern Guizhou were subjected to X-ray diffraction (XRD) and field emission scanning electron microscopy (FE-SEM) observation， and tests were conducted to determine total organic content (TOC)， bitumen reflectance， and nitrogen isotopes. The results indicate that the equivalent vitrinite reflectance of cores varies from 2.30% to 3.73%， and the TOC content of cores varies from 3.8% to 7.8%. The total gas content of three wells in northern Guizhou is 0.5 m3/t， 0.3 m3/t， and 1.4 m3/t， respectively. The TOC content of the shale in the syncline structure is higher than that of the shale in the anticline structure. Nitrogen in shale gas originates primarily from the thermal ammoniation of organic matter， the atmosphere， and the deep crust. Shale gas preservation is favourable in regions with a large range of lifting， and small lifting differences. The syncline is broad and gentle with few faults have better gas accumulation conditions. The Niutitang Formation in the residual syncline of the study area has better gas content than that of other structures. Exploration of shale gas accumulation sweet spots in northern Guizhou should focus on the broad-gentle synclines with minimal changes in stratigraphic lifting， few faults， and no hydrothermal activity at the edges of paleo-uplifts.

Fast-Tracker 2.0:Improving autonomy of aerial tracking with active vision and human location regression

In recent years,several progressive studies promote the development of aerial tracking.One of the representative studies is our previous work Fast-Tracker which is applicable to various challenging tracking scenarios.However,it suffers from two main drawbacks:(1)the oversimplification in target detection by using artificial markers and(2)the contradiction between simultaneous target and environment perception with limited onboard vision.In this study,we upgrade the target detection in Fast-Tracker to detect and localise a human target based on deep learning and non-linear regression to solve the former problem.For the latter one,we equip the quadrotor system with 360°active vision on a customised gimbal camera.Furthermore,we improve the tracking trajectory planning in Fast-Tracker by incorporating an occlusion-aware mechanism that generates observable tracking trajectories.Comprehensive real-world tests confirm the proposed system's robustness and real-time capability.Benchmark comparisons with Fast-Tracker validate that the proposed system presents better tracking performance even when performing more difficult tracking tasks.

Range formula based on angle of dispersion and nozzle configuration from an impact sprinkler

Jet breakup and dispersion from impact sprinkler are mainly influenced by the configurations of nozzle and dispersion device.Based on the structure,different types of nozzles were designed and tested with a pointed tip dispersion device under low pressure conditions.Experiments were performed using High-Speed Photographic technique,and Matlab computation program was established and applied to determine the initial jet breakup length and angle of dispersion from the nozzles.The sprinkler range decreased with the increase in diameter of nozzle,and the largest range of 15.1 m was produced from sprinkler with 6 mm nozzle size under a pressure of 150 kPa.The angle of dispersion decreased with the increase of jet velocity,the spray coverage from sprinkler with 6 mm nozzle size was 1478 mm under 150 kPa,and was not statistically different when the pressure was increased.A new range formula was established for sprinkler with dispersion device through curve fitting of the parameters of initial jet breakup length,angle of dispersion,nozzle size and working pressure.The new formula was reliable for calculating range with a relative error less than 3%.Since the formula is based on the angle of dispersion,it could be useful to estimate uniformity of water distribution in sprinkler irrigated fields.
