In this paper, the authors investigate the existence of solutions of impulsive boundary value problems for Sturm-Liouville type differential inclusions which admit non-convex-valued multifunctions on right hand side. Two results under weaker conditions are presented. The methods rely on a fixed point theorem for contraction multi-valued maps due to Covitz and Nadler and Schaefer＇s fixed point theorem combined with lower semi-continuous multi-valued operators with decomposable values.

The properties of resveratrol (3′, 4′, 5-trihydroxystlbene, RST) were for the first time evaluated as a potential substrate for horseradish peroxidase (HRP)-catalyzed fluorogenic reaction. The properties of RST for use as fluorogenic substrates for HRP and its application in immunoassays were compared with commercially available substrates such as p-hydroxyphenylpropionic acid (pHPPA), chavicol and Amplex red by a fluoroimmunosensing method in the use of Schistosomia japonicum antibody (SjAb) as a model analyte. The fluoroimmunosensing device was constructed by dispersing Schistosomia japonicum antigen (SjAg), nano-Ag/SiO2 particles and sol-gel at low temperature. In pH 5.8 Britton-Robinson buffer (B-R), HRP-SjAb conjugates can catalyze the polymerization reaction of RST by H2O2 forming fluorescent dimmers. The increase of the fluorescence intensity of the dimmers product at emission of 462 nm (excitation: 315 nm) is proportional to the concentration of HRP-SjAb binding to the SjAg entrapped in the nano-Ag/SiO2 particles-sol-gel matrix. A competitive binding assay has been used to determine SjAb in rabbit serum with the aid of SjAb labeled with HRP. Substrate RST showed comparable ability for HRP detection and its enzyme-linked immunosensing reaction system, in a linear detection ranging of 1.5×10-6-7.3×10-4 g/L and with a detection limit of 1.5×10-6 g/L. The immobilized biocomposites surface could be regenerated by simply polishing with an alumina paper, with an excellent reproducibility (RSD = 4.7%). The proposed method has been successfully used for analysis of the rabbit serum sample with satisfactory results.

Optimal design study of high order FIR digital filters based on neural network algorithm

An optimal design approach of high order FIR digital filter is developed based on the algorithm of neural networks with cosine basis function . The main idea is to minimize the sum of the square errors between the amplitude response of the desired FIR filter and that of the designed by training the weights of neural networks, then obtains the impulse response of FIR digital filter . The convergence theorem of the neural networks algorithm is presented and proved, and the optimal design method is introduced by designing four kinds of FIR digital filters , i.e., low-pass, high-pass, bandpass , and band-stop FIR digital filter. The results of the amplitude responses show that attenuation in stop-bands is more than 60 dB with no ripple and pulse existing in pass-bands, and cutoff frequency of passband and stop-band is easily controlled precisely .The presented optimal design approach of high order FIR digital filter is significantly effective.

It is proved that, for the nondivergence elliptic equations Σi,jn=1aijuxixj=f, if f belongs to the generalized Morrey spaces Lp, (w), then uxixj ∈ Lp, (w), where u is the W2,p-solution of the equations. In order to obtain this, the author first establish the weighted boundedness for the commutators of some singular integral operators on Lp, (w).

Thin films of barium hexaferrite were prepared on fly ash cenosphere particles by the sol-gel method using Fe（ NO3 ）3 ·9H2O, Ba（ NO3 ）2 and citric acid as raw materials. The prepared films were characterized by differential thermal and thermogravimetric analysis （DTA-TG）, X-ray diffraction analysis （XRD）, scanning electron microscopy （SEM）, energy dispersive spectroscopy （EDX）, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy （XPS）, and vibrating sample magnetometry . The magnetic and structural properties of barium hexaferrite coated cenosphere particles were also studied. The experimental results show that even and continual barium hexaferrite coatings were prepared on fly ash cenospheres , and the magnetic conductivity was imparted to these non-conducting oxide ceramic particles. The low density barium hexaferrite coated cenosphere particles may be atilized for manufacturing microwave absorbing materials.
