Chloride in manganese ore adversely affects mineral extraction. The mechanisms and the factors that influence an alkali pretreatment to removal chlorine from manganese ore were explored to eliminate hazards posed by chlorine during the electrolysis of manganese. The results showed that sodium carbonate, when used as an alkaline additive, promoted the dissolution of insoluble chloride, enhanced the migration of chloride ions, and effectively stabilized Mn^（2＋）. The optimal conditions were a sodium carbonate concentration of 0.45 mol·L^（-1）, a liquid-solid ratio of 5：1 mL ·g^（-1）, a reaction time of 1 h, and a temperature of 25°C. The chlorine removal efficiency was greater than 95%, and the ore grade（Mn） was increased by 2.7%.

A large number of testis-specific genes are involved in the complex process of mammalian spermatogenesis. Identification of these genes and their roles is important for understanding the mechanisms underlying spermatogenesis. Here we report on a novel human RING finger protein, ZNF645, which contains a C3HC4 RING finger domain, a C2H2 zinc-finger domain, and a proline-rich region, indicating that it has a structure similar to that of the c-Cbl-like protein Hakai. ZNF645 was exclusively expressed in normal human testicular tissue. Immunohistochemical analysis confirmed that ZNF645 protein was present in spermatocytes, round and elongated spermatids, and Leydig cells. Immunofluorescence staining of mature sperms further showed that the ZNF645 protein was localized over the postacrosomal perinuclear theca region and the entire length of sperm tail. An in vitro ubiquitination assay indicated that the RING finger domain of the ZNF645 protein had E3 ubiquitin ligase activity. Therefore, we suggest that ZNF645 might act as an E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase and play a role in human sperm production and quality control.

Developing a heterostructure for alloying-based anode for sodium-ion batteries（SIBs） is an efficient solution to accommodate volume change upon sodiation/desodiation and boost sodium storage since it combines the merits of each component. Herein, we report a metallic and microphone-like Sn-Zn0.9Mn0.1O heterostructure via an in-situ Mn doping strategy. Based on theoretical calculations and experimental results, the introduction of Mn into Zn O（a small amount of Mn also diffuses into the Sn lattice） can not only enhance intrinsic electronic conductivity but also reduce the Na+diffusion barrier inside the Sn phase. When evaluated as anode for SIBs, the obtained heterostructures show a high reversible capacity of 395.1 mAh/g at 0.1 A/g, rate capability of 332 mAh/g at 5 A/g, and capacity retention of almost 100%after 850 cycles at 5 A/g, indicating its great potential for high-power application of SIBs.

Poly(butylene succinate-co-furandicarboxylate)(PBSF)and poly(butylene adipateco-furandicarboxylate)(PBAF)are novel furandicarboxylic acid-based biodegradable copolyesters with great potential to replace fossil-derived terephthalic acid-based copolyesters such as poly(butylene succinate-co-terephthalate)(PBST)and poly(butylene adipate-co-terephthalate)(PBAT).In this study,quantum chemistry techniques after molecular dynamics simulations are employed to investigate the degradationmechanism of PBSF and PBAF catalyzed by Candida antarctica lipase B(CALB).Computational analysis indicates that the catalytic reaction follows a four-step mechanism resembling the ping-pong bibi mechanism,with the initial two steps being acylation reactions and the subsequent two being hydrolysis ***,the first step of the hydrolysis is identified as the rate-determining ***,by introducing single-point mutations to expand the substrate entrance tunnel,the catalytic distance of the first acylation step ***,energy barrier of the rate-determining step is decreased in the PBSF system by site-directed mutations on key residues increasing hydrophobicity of the enzyme’s active *** study unprecedently show the substrate binding pocket and hydrophobicity of the enzyme’s active site have the potential to be engineered to enhance the degradation of copolyesters catalyzed by CALB.

Lithium metal batteries（LMBs） with high energy density are impeded by the instability of solid electrolyte interface（SEI） and the uncontrolled growth of lithium（Li） *** mitigate these challenges,optimizing the SEI structure and Li deposition behavior is the key to stable *** study novelty proposes a facile synthesis of MgF2/carbon（C） nanocomposite through the mechanochemical reaction between metallic Mg and polytetrafluoroethylene（PTFE） powders,and its modified polypropylene（PP）separator enhances LMB *** in-situ formed highly conductive fluorine-doped C species play a crucial role in facilitating ion/electron transport,thereby accelerating electrochemical kinetics and altering Li deposition *** cycling,the in-situ reaction between MgF2and Li leads to the formation of LiMg alloy,along with a LiF-rich SEI layer,which reduces the nucleation overpotential and reinforces the interphase strength,leading to homogeneous Li deposition with dendrite-free *** from these merits,the Li metal is densely and uniformly deposited on the MgF2/C@PP separator side rather than on the current collector ***,the symmetric cell with MgF2/C@PP exhibits superb Li plating/stripping performance over 2800 h at 1 mA cm-2and 2 mA h *** importantly,the assembled Li@MgF2/C@PPILiFePO4full cell with a low negative/positive ratio of 3.6delivers an impressive cyclability with 82.7% capacity retention over 1400 cycles at 1 C.

传统的谱聚类方法使用k-means达到最后的聚类目的。k-means对初始条件敏感,易陷入局部最优,从而导致传统的谱聚类方法应用到图像分割时效果不太理想。将遗传算法用于优化谱方法的聚类阶段,提出一种以遗传算法优化普聚类的图像分割方法(Image Segmentation Algorithm of Spectral Clustering Optimization Based on Genetic,ISCOG)。在合成图像与真实图像上的实验表明ISCOG算法极大地提高了谱聚类算法的稳定性和聚类质量,证明了ISCOG算法的优越性。
