Effects of the mixing degree upstream of the diverging area on the pollutant allocation characteristics of a braided river

The mixing degree upstream of the diverging area is one of the important factors influencing the pollutant allocation characteristics of braided rivers,but the effect remains unclear at *** this paper,physical model tests were designed to study the effect on the pollutant flux ratio with six branching forms and a series of longitudinal discharge *** results indicated that the mixing degree upstream of the diverging area,which is closely related to the longitudinal discharge distance,notably affected the pollutant flux *** lower the mixing degree,the larger was the deviation of the pollutant flux ratio from the discharge ***,a linear relationship was attained between the dimensionless mixing degree and the dimensionless deviation of the pollutant flux ratio from the discharge *** of different branching angles or different water layers or different branches did not affect this *** experimental results further demonstrated that the intercept and slope of the aforementioned linear relationship depended on the branching angle and exhibited an opposite monotonicity with a symmetric branch angle as the dividing *** results help towards a better understanding of the mechanism of the factors influencing pollutant transport in complicated braided rivers,and provide a new approach to predicting the pollutant flux ratio of braided rivers.

Posttranslational modifications increase the complexity and functional diversity of proteins in response to complex external stimuli and internal *** these,protein lipidations which refer to lipid attachment to proteins are prominent,which primarily encompassing five types including S-palmitoylation,N-myristoylation,S-prenylation,glycosylphosphatidylinositol(GPl)anchor and *** attachment to proteins plays an essential role in the regulation of protein trafficking,localisation,stability,conformation,interactions and signal transduction by enhancing *** evidence from genetic,structural,and biomedical studies has consistently shown that protein lipidation is pivotal in the regulation of broad physiological functions and is inextricably linked to a variety of *** of dedicated research have driven the development of a wide range of drugs targeting protein lipidation,and several agents have been developed and tested in preclinical and clinical studies,some of which,such as asciminib and lonafarnib are FDA-approved for therapeutic use,indicating that targeting protein lipidations represents a promising therapeutic ***,we comprehensively review the known regulatory enzymes and catalytic mechanisms of various protein lipidation types,outline the impact of protein lipidations on physiology and disease,and highlight potential therapeutic targets and clinical research progress,aiming to provide a comprehensive reference for future protein lipidation research.

An in-house code,CONTHAC-3D,was developed to calculate and analyze thermal-hydraulic phenomena in containments during severe ***-3D is a three-dimensional computational fluid dynamics code that can be applied to predict gas flow,diffusion,and steam condensation in a containment during a severe hypothetical accident,as well as to obtain an estimate of the local hydrogen concentration in various zones of the ***-3D was developed using multiple models to simulate the features of the proprietary systems and equipment of HPR1000 and ACP100,such as the passive cooling system,passive autocatalytic recombiners and the passive air cooling *** validate CONTHAC-3D,a GX6 test was performed at the Battelle Model Containment *** hydrogen concentration and temperature monitored by the GX6 test are accurately predicted by ***,the hydrogen distribution in the HPR1000 containment during a severe accident was *** results show that the hydrogen removal rates calculated using CONTHAC-3D for different types of PARs agree well with the theoretical values,with an error of less than 1%.As the accident progresses,the hydrogen concentration in the lower compartment becomes higher than that in the large space,which implies that the lower compartment has a higher hydrogen risk than the dome and large space at a later stage of the *** amount of hydrogen removed by the PARs placed on the floor of the compartment is small;therefore,raising the installation height of these recombiners appropriately is ***,we do not recommend installing all autocatalytic recombiners at high *** study findings in regard to the hydrogen distribution in the HPR1000 containment indicate that CONTHAC-3D can be applied to the study of hydrogen risk containment.

PH13-8Mo stainless steel powder with high sphericity and well fluidity was prepared by the plasma rotating electrode *** formed parts with ultra-high purity were manufactured by selective laser *** tensile and impact mechanical properties of the printed parts under three heat treatment regimes were compared to those without heat *** microstructure,grain orientation and phase composition were characterized by electron-backscatter diffraction,X-ray diffraction and transmission electron *** characterization results reveal that the addition of heat treatment makes the grains enlarge,and after different heat treatments,the average grain size from 1.51μm in the printed state increases to 2.78,3.09 and 2.06μm,*** formed parts are mainly composed of martensite and retained ***,the NiAl and M23C precipitates form,which are the major strengthening phases of PH13-8Mo stainless *** optimal heat treatment process is 925℃×1 h water cooling(WC)+0℃×2 h air cooling(AC)+540℃×4 h *** this heat treatment process,PH13-8Mo formed parts have the optimal comprehensive mechanical properties:the tensile strength,yield strength and impact energy KU2 are 1492 MPa,1432 MPa and 63 J,*** strengthening and toughening via heat treatment are mainly attributed to dislocation strengthening,the formation of NiAl and M23Co precipitates and the change of volume fraction of the retained austenite.

In this paper, we have introduced the concepts of pseudomonotonicity properties for nonlinear transformations defined on Euclidean Jordan algebras. The implications between this property and other P-properties have been studied. More importantly, we have solved the solvability problem of the nonlinear pseudomonotone complementarity problems over symmetric cones.
