Eight new guaiane-type sesquiterpenoid trimers,artemsieverolactones A—H,possessing unprecedented scaffolds via biocatalyzed[4+2]Diels−Alder cycloaddition reactions were identified from Artemisia sieversiana.Their structures were determined by comprehensive spectroscopic data,single-crystal X-ray diffraction analyses,and ECD calculations.In terms of structure,artemsieverolactones A—H are first examples of sesquiterpenoid trimers from guaiane-type sesquiterpenoid through four different[4+2]Diels−Alder cycloaddition models.Antihepatic fibrosis assay suggested that five compounds exhibited activity against HSC-LX2 with IC_(50)values ranging from 37.8 to 117.1μmol/L.The most active artemsieverolactone B(2)displayed significant inhibitory activity against HSC-LX2 with IC_(50)value of 37.8μmol/L,which was 3 times more active than the positive drug silybin(IC_(50),139.7μmol/L).Preliminary mechanism study revealed that artemsieverolactone B could inhibit the deposition of human collagen typeⅠ(ColⅠ),human hyaluronic acid(HA),and human laminin(HL)with IC_(50)values of 40.4μmol/L(Col I),55.1μmol/L(HL),47.3μmol/L(HA),which was 2 to 3-fold more potent than silybin.

To the Editor:Colorectal cancer(CRC)is a major cause of cancer-related death worldwide,and several pathogens with carcinogenic potential,such as Schistosoma,have been associated with an increased risk of CRC.As a frequently mutated gene in CRC patients,kirsten rat sarcoma viral oncogene homolog(KRAS)helps to determine the selection of CRC therapies.Therefore,we aimed to elucidate the association among Schistosoma infection,KRAS mutation status,and the prognosis of CRC in this study.

Dual-atom catalysts(DACs) afford promising potential for oxygen reduction electrocatalysis due to their high atomic efficiency and high intrinsic activity.However,precise construction of dual-atom sites remains a challenge.In this work,a post-modification strategy is proposed to precisely fabricate DACs for oxygen reduction electrocatalysis.Concretely,a secondary metal precursor is introduced to the primary single-atom sites to introduce direct metal-metal interaction,which ensures the formation of desired atom pair structure during the subsequent pyrolysis process and allows for successful construction of DACs.The as-prepared FeCo-NC DAC exhibits superior oxygen reduction electrocatalytic activity with a half-wave potential of 0,91 V vs.reversible hydrogen electrode.Zn-air batteries equipped with the FeCo-NC DAC demonstrate higher peak power density than those with the Pt/C benchmark.More importantly,this post-modification strategy is demonstrated universal to achieve a variety of dual-atom sites.This work presents an effective synthesis methodology for precise construction of catalytic materials and propels their applications in energy-related devices.

AIM:To investigate whether head and neck proprioception and motor control could be compensatory enhanced by long-term vision loss or impairment.METHODS:Individuals who were blind,low vision or sighted were included in the study,which would undergo the head repositioning test(HRT).The constant error(CE),absolute error(AE),variable error(VE)and root mean square error(RMSE)of each subject were statistically analyzed.Data were analyzed using the SAS 9.4.Tukey-Kramer for one-way ANOVA was used for comparison of blind,low vision,and sighted subjects,as well as to compare subjects with balanced vision,strong vision in the left eye and strong vision in the right eye.Independent sample t-test was used to compare subjects with congenital blindness and acquired blindness,as well as left and right hand dominance subjects.RESULTS:A total of 90 individuals(25 blind subjects,31 low vision subjects,and 34 sighted subjects)were included in the study.Among the blind subjects,14 cases had congenital blindness and 11 cases had acquired blindness.Among the blind and low vision subjects,21 cases had balanced binocular vision,17 cases had strong vision in the left eye and 18 cases had strong vision in the right eye.Among all subjects,11 cases were left hand dominance,and 79 cases were right hand dominance.There were significant differences in AE,VE,and RMSE in head rotation between blind,low vision,and sighted subjects(P0.05).Significant differences in CE and AE of head right rotation and CE of general head rotation between congenital and acquired(P0.05).CONCLUSION:Long-term vision loss or impairment does not lead to compensatory enhancement of head and neck proprioception and motor control.Acquired experience contributes to HRT performance in the bli

For the applications of the frequency comb in microresonators,it is essential to obtain a fully frequency-stabilized microcomb laser source.In this study,we present a system for generating a fully atom-referenced stabilized soliton microcomb.The pump light around 1560.48 nm is locked to an ultra-low-expansion(ULE)cavity.This pump light is then frequency-doubled and referenced to the atomic transition of87Rb.The repetition rate of the soliton microcomb is injection-locked to an atomic-clockstabilized radio frequency(RF)source,leading to mHz stabilization at 1 s.As a result,all comb lines have been frequencystabilized based on the atomic reference and the ULE cavity,achieving a very high precision of approximately 18 Hz at 1 s,corresponding to the frequency stability of 9.5×10^(-14).Our approach provides a fully stabilized microcomb experiment scheme with no requirement of f-2f technique,which could be easily implemented and generalized to various photonic platforms,thus paving the way towards the ultraprecise optical sources for high precision spectroscopy.

胶质母细胞瘤属于浸润性的恶性肿瘤,目前其化疗新药物的寻找和治疗仍待突破。桑根酮C(Sanggenon C,SC)来源于桑白皮,在多种癌症中发挥着抗肿瘤功效。本研究利用显微镜拍摄、transwell实验和免疫荧光实验验证了SC对胶质母细胞瘤的迁移侵袭能力的影响;基因富集、实时荧光定量PCR(real-time qPCR)以及泛素化实验用于阐明SC抑制胶质母细胞瘤迁移侵袭能力的分子机制。显微镜拍摄结果显示,对胶质母细胞瘤进行加药处理后细胞形态明显回缩,细胞迁移侵袭能力被削弱;Transwell实验和免疫荧光实验也验证了SC能抑制胶质母细胞瘤迁移侵袭能力的猜测;基因富集实验结果表明SC可能调控迁移侵袭相关基因的表达,并且影响Wnt/β-catenin信号通路的活性;Westernblotting揭示了SC可调控β-catenin的泛素化水平,并且抑制β-catenin及其下游蛋白的表达;Real-timeqPCR实验结果在转录水平上佐证Westernblotting的结果。SC通过调控β-catenin的泛素化水平抑制胶质母细胞瘤的迁移侵袭能力,为胶质母细胞瘤的治疗提供了新的思路。

在癫痫脑电信号分类检测中,传统机器学习方法分类效果不理想,深度学习模型虽然具有较好的特征学习优势,但其“黑盒”学习方式不具备可解释性,不能很好地应用于临床辅助诊断;并且,现有的多视角深度TSK模糊系统难以有效表征各视角特征之间的相关性.针对以上问题,提出一种基于视角-规则的深度Takagi-SugenoKang(TSK)模糊分类器(view-to-rule Takagi-Sugeno-Kang fuzzy classifier,VR-TSK-FC),并将其应用于多元癫痫脑电信号检测中.该算法在原始数据上构建前件规则以保证模型的可解释性,利用一维卷积神经网络(1-dimensional convolutional neural network,1D-CNN)从多角度抓取多元脑电信号深度特征.每个模糊规则的后件部分分别采用一个视角的脑电信号深度特征作为其后件变量,视角-规则的学习方式提高了VR-TSK-FC表征能力.在Bonn和CHB-MIT数据集上,VR-TSK-FC算法模糊逻辑推理过程保证可解释的基础上达到了较好分类效果.

Gaoligong Mountain(hereafter,GLGM)is located at the intersection of Myanmar and China’s Yunnan Province and Xizang Zizhiqu,and spans three globally significant biodiversity hotspots:the Himalayas,Indo-Burma,and the Mountains of Southwest China.Although surveys of mammals in this ecologically important region have a long history,there is no comprehensive systematic checklist and distribution account of the mammals of GLGM.Here,we compiled a mammal species checklist of GLGM based on thorough field investigations and literature reviews.We also examined specimen collections and applied camera trapping surveys to explore the region’s mammal diversity and distribution patterns.We recorded 212 mammal species in nine orders,33 families,and 119 genera,which accounts for 30.5%of China’s mammal species,and a high proportion of nationally protected(50)and globally threatened(29)species.Mammal species richness showed a symmetrical unimodal curve along the elevation gradient,peaking at intermediate elevations(2000 to 2500 m above sea level(asl)),and increasing generally from south to north,slightly higher in the east slope than in the west.Cluster analysis and non-metric multidimensional scaling revealed three distinct elevational assemblages(3500 m asl)and significant south-to-north variation,but no substantial differences between the east and west slopes.The GLGM present a unique conservation value due to the high proportions of rare and endangered mammal species,complex faunal composition,high endemism,and being the distribution boundary for many species.This study is an important phased account of mammal diversity in GLGM and makes a prospect for future research.
