Rare earth high-entropy alloys(RE-HEAs)exhibit great potential to be applied as refrigerants due to their good comprehensive magnetocaloric *** this work,octary GdTbDyHoErTmCoAl and GdTbDyHoErTmCoNi RE-HEAs with amorphous/nanocrystalline structure exhibiting comparable magnetocaloric effect were *** RE-HEAs show a second-order magnetic phase transition in the temperature range of hydrogen *** to the complex magnetic interactions,a spin glasslike behavior at low temperatures is observed in the RE-HEAs.A superior magnetocaloric effect is obtained in the nanocrystalline GdTbDyHoErTmCoNi high-entropy alloy that is multiphase attributed to a stronger magnetic exchange interaction when compared with the other that exhibits single amorphous *** heterogeneous microstructure,homogeneous chemical distributions are observed in the partially crystallized high-entropy *** addition,the magnetocaloric effect and magnetic transition behavior of rare earth medium-and high-entropy alloys,including the RE-HEAs in this study,are summarized and *** results in this work provide a helpful guide for the design of RE-HEAs for hydrogen liquefaction applications with excellent magnetocaloric effects.

Lime pretreatment on maize stover was conducted with various pretreatment conditions selected by central composite *** and lignin contents in pretreated maize stover were relatively *** of glucose monomer and oligomers decreased while concentration of xylooligomers increased in the pretreatment hydrolysate with increasing pretreatment *** overall carbohydrate recovery was at least 85%for the conditions *** removal during pretreatment was found to have a linear correlation with lignin *** had a higher effect in enhancing carbohydrate solubilization for enzymatic hydrolysis than that for *** *** all the pretreated solids,Clostridium thermocellum fermentation was found to result in much higher carbohydrate solubilization than enzymatic hydrolysis with a cellulase loading of 8 mg/g solids and a xylanase loading of 2 mg/g *** solubilization was found to have a linear correlation with lignin removal during lime pretreatment for both enzymatic hydrolysis and *** *** the current challenges,this research provides a new idea for the industrial application of lignocellulosic biorefinery.

ASTSDL:predicting the functionality of incomplete programming code via an AST-sequence-based deep learning model

Code recommendation systems have been widely used in helping developers implement unfamiliar programming *** existing code recommenders or code search engines can retrieve relevant code rapidly with high accuracy,however,they cannot recommend any code outside similar *** propose an approach to predict the functionality of incomplete programming code by using syntactical information,and providing a list of potential functionalities to guess what the developers want,in order to increase the diversity of *** this paper,we propose a deep learning model called ASTSDL,which uses a sequencebased representation of source code to predict *** extract syntactical information from the abstract syntax tree(AST) of the source code,apply a deep learning model to capture the syntactic and sequential information,and predict the functionality of the source code *** experimental results demonstrate that ASTSDL can effectively predict the functionality of incomplete code with an accuracy above 84% in the top-10 list,even if there is only half of the complete code.

Fatty liver diseases have been shown to progress through various stages, from steatosis or necrosis with inflammation and hepatocyte damage to the development of fibrosis and eventual cirrhosis with an increased risk of carcinoma [ 2, 3 ].

Long non-coding RNAs(lncRNAs)function as key modulators in mammalian immunity,particularly due to their involvement in lncRNA-mediated competitive endogenous RNA(ceRNA)*** their recognized significance in mammals,research on lncRNAs in lower vertebrates remains *** the present study,we characterized the first immune-related lncRNA(pol-lnc78)in the teleost Japanese flounder(Paralichthys olivaceus).Results indicated that pol-lnc78 acted as a ceRNA for pol-miR-n199-3p to target the sterile alpha and armadillo motif-containing protein(SARM),the fifth discovered member of the Toll/interleukin 1(IL-1)receptor(TIR)adaptor *** ceRNA network regulated the antibacterial responses of flounder via the Toll-like receptor(TLR)signaling ***,SARM acted as a negative regulator and exacerbated bacterial infection by inhibiting the expression of inflammatory cytokines IL-1βand tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α).Pol-miR-n199-3p reduced SARM expression by specifically interacting with the 3’untranslated region(UTR),thereby promoting SARM-dependent inflammatory cytokine expression and protecting the host against bacterial ***,pol-lnc78 sponged pol-miR-n199-3p to ameliorate the inhibition of SARM *** infection,the negative regulators pol-lnc78 and SARM were significantly down-regulated,while pol-miR-n199-3p was significantly up-regulated,thus favoring host antibacterial *** findings provide novel insights into the mechanisms underlying fish immunity and open new horizons to better understand ceRNA crosstalk in lower vertebrates.

The location monitoring of underground pipelines is of utmost significance as it helps the effective management and maintenance of the pipelines,and facilitates the planning of nearby projects,preventing damage to the ***,currently there is a serious lack of data on the locations of underground *** paper proposes an image-based approach for monitoring the locations of underground pipelines by combing deep learning and visual-based *** proposed approach can build the monitoring model for underground pipelines and characterize their locations through their centroid *** advantages are:(1)simplicity:it only requires time-sequential images of the inner walls of underground pipelines;(2)clarity:the location model and the location curve of underground pipelines can be provided quickly;(3)robustness:it can cope with some existing problems in underground pipelines,such as light variations and small viewing angles.A lightweight approach for monitoring the locations of underground pipelines is *** proposed approach’s effectiveness has been validated through laboratory simulation experiments,demonstrating accuracy at the millimeter level.

Enhancing the anti-corrosion performance and biocompatibility of AZ91D Mg alloy by applying roughness pretreatment and coating with in-situ Mg(OH)_(2)/Mg-Al LDH

Corrosion-resistant and biocompatible films were fabricated on AZ91D Mg alloy substrates by varying their roughness levels using met-allographic preparation and subsequent hydrothermal *** coated films comprised a mixed structure of Mg(OH)_(2)and Mg-Al layered double hydroxides(LDH)and exhibited excellent *** film thickness increased with decreasing surface *** resistance was evaluated using potentiodynamic polarization and electrochemical impedance *** pretreat-ment influenced the chemical activity of the Mg alloy surface and helped modulate the dissolution rate of the Mg_(17)Al_(12)phase during the hydrothermal *** decreasing roughness of the Mg substrate,the Al^(3+)concentration gradually increased,accelerating the in-situ formation of the Mg(OH)_(2)/LDH composite coating and improving its crystallinity.A thick and dense Mg(OH)_(2)/LDH coating was synthesized on the Mg substrate with the least roughness,substantially improving the corrosion resistance of the AZ91D *** lowest corrosion current density((5.73±2.75)×10^(−8)A·cm^(−2))was achieved,which was approximately three orders of magnitude less than that of bare ***,the coating demonstrated biocompatibility with no evident cytotoxicity,cellular damage,and hemolytic *** study provides an effective method for preparing coatings on Mg alloy surfaces with excellent corrosion resistance and biocompatibility.

Operating conditions of film capacitors are complex,and the problem of film insulation failure caused by repetitively pulsed voltage is becoming ever *** of the film under repetitively pulsed voltage cannot be accurately evaluated by the average breakdown electric *** this paper,the effects of pulsed electric field and pulse repetition frequency on the breakdown in biaxially oriented polypropylene(BOPP)films are *** phases of BOPP degradation are proposed based on the voltage amplitude,i.e.,maintenance(M),decline(D),and near-zero(N).Evolution of the BOPP film from degradation to breakdown at different frequencies is ***,transition of discharge mode and elemental composition of the film are *** results show continuous heat generation under repetitive microsecond pulses is the dominant factor for degradation of BOPP *** number of applied pulses and the repetitive stressing time decrease exponentially with increase of *** research can be contributed to the safe and reliable operation of capacitors.
