AIM:To describe the characteristics of peripapillary hyperreflective ovoid mass-like structure(PHOMS)in myopic children and to investigate factors associated with PHOMS.METHODS:This retrospective observational study included 101 eyes of 101 children(age≤17y)with myopia.All included patients underwent comprehensive clinical examination.Optic nerve canal parameters,including disc diameter,optic nerve head(ONH)tilt angle,and border tissue angle were measured using serial enhanced-depth imaging spectral-domain optical coherence tomography(EDI-OCT).Based on the optic disc drusen consortium’s definition of PHOMS,eyes were classified as PHOMS group and non-PHOMS group.PHOMS was categorized according to height.RESULTS:Sixty-seven(66.3%)eyes were found with PHOMS.Small PHOMS could only be detected by optical coherence tomography(OCT).Medium PHOMS could be seen with blurred optic disc borders corresponding to OCT.The most frequent location of PHOMS was at the nasosuperior(91%,61 of 67 eyes)to ONH disc.The axial length and spherical equivalent were more myopic in the PHOMS group than in the non-PHOMS group(both Pchanges in ONH caused by axial elongation facilitated an understanding of the mechanism of PHOMS.

Sesame seeds are promulgated as traditional high-quality edible oil crops,rich in lipid(40–65%),protein(19–35%),and bioactive compounds.The review starts with bioactive components(fatty acid,tocopherol,phytosterol,sesamin,sesamolin,and sesamol)of sesame seeds.It considers processing techniques for extracting oil(aqueous extraction and pressing)from seeds.Novel technologies,such as enzyme-assisted aqueous,supercritical CO_(2),and microwave-assisted solvent extraction,are also discussed.The methods of utilization of sesame seed cake are also analyzed.In the future,the processing technology of sesame seed will be further developed in the direction of improving comprehensive utilization rate to meet new consumption demand.

Heavy soil drying during mid-to-late grain filling stage of the main crop to reduce yield loss of the ratoon crop in a mechanized rice ratooning system

Yield loss(Y_(Loss)) in the ratoon crop due to crushing damage to left stubble from mechanical harvesting of the main crop is a constraint for wide adoption of mechanized rice ratooning technology.Soil drying before the harvest of the main crop has been proposed to overcome this problem.The objective of this study was to determine the effect of soil drying during the mid-to-late grain filling stage of the main crop on grain yield of the ratoon crop in a mechanized rice ratooning system.Field experiments were conducted to compare Y_(Loss) between light(LD) and heavy(HD) soil drying treatments in Hubei province,central China in 2017 and 2018.Y_(Loss) was calculated as the percentage of yield reduction in the ratoon crop with the main crop harvested mechanically,relative to the grain yield of the ratoon crop with the main crop harvested manually.In comparison with LD,soil hardness was increased by 42.8%-84.7% in HD at the 5-20 cm soil depth at maturity of the main crop.Soil hardness at 5 and 10 cm depths reached respectively 4.05 and 7.07 kg cm^(-2) in HD.Soil drying treatment did not significantly affect the grain yield of the main crop.Under mechanical harvesting of the main crop,HD increased the grain yield of the ratoon crop by 9.4% relative to LD.Consequently,Y_(Loss) was only 3.4% in HD,in contrast to 16.3% in LD.The differences in grain yield and Y_(Loos) between the two soil drying treatments were explained mainly by panicles m^(-2),which was increased significantly by HD in the track zone of the ratoon crop compared with LD.These results suggest that heavy soil drying practice during the mid-to-late grain filling stage of the main crop is effective for reducing Y_(Loss) of the ratoon crop in a mechanized rice ratooning system.

考虑桩−海水−层状土相互作用,研究了水平动荷载作用下层状地基中海洋大直径管桩的动力响应特性。将海水视为无黏性可压缩流体介质建立桩周、桩芯海水的运动方程,通过分离变量法并结合海水的边界条件求得桩周、桩芯海水作用在管桩上的动水压力。将海床土体视为黏弹性介质并考虑其成层非均质性,利用微分变化并结合土体振动边界条件解得桩周、桩芯土体作用在管桩上的水平抗力。进而根据各桩段上水平力的平衡建立管桩控制方程,利用传递矩阵法并结合桩身的连续条件以及桩顶、桩底的边界条件,得到层状海床土中海洋大直径管桩的水平动力响应解析解,给出了桩顶位移解析表达式。将所得解与有限元模拟结果以及退化解与已有文献解进行对比,验证了本研究计算方法的合理性。并基于所得解分析了管桩−海水−层状土系统水平动力响应对动水压力、水深、土体模量、土层厚度等关键参数的敏感性。

法藏敦煌写本P.4038与日藏敦煌写本羽043的形制、内容、体例及字迹相类,原本当属同一件医药文书。目前学界对其校录注释已相对完善,但由于原卷多以行草书写就,部分字形简省难辨,加之敦煌医药文献语言成分复杂,诸家校释仍有可商可补之处。文章综合字形与文意文例,联系相关出土与传世文献,对其中“■”“■”“■”“■”“■”等疑难字形进行考辨分析,指出这两件医药写本在汉字史与汉语词汇史研究上的价值,并就涉及的草书写本校释问题试作讨论。

糠醛是木制纤维素的水解产物,由于其分子结构中含有多个官能团且官能团的结构异常敏感,糠醛选择性催化加氢可制得2-甲基呋喃、糠醇、四氢糠醇、呋喃、四氢呋喃等一系列高附加值化学品。因此,制备了一种高活性、高选择性(四氢糠醇)、稳定性好及贵金属负载量低的负载型催化剂。采用硼氢化钠液相化学还原法合成了具有不同Pd负载量的Pd/WO_(3)催化剂(0.34%、2.0%和4.5%),考察了Pd的负载量及反应温度对Pd/WO_(3)催化糠醛选择性加氢的影响,结果表明,最佳反应条件为:2.0%Pd、反应时间为2 h、反应温度为150℃,此时糠醛转化率为99.0%,四氢糠醇选择性达92.2%。低温反应(100℃)时升高Pd负载量有利于提高催化剂性能,高温反应(150℃)时Pd最佳负载量为2.0%。

As the significant branch of intelligent vehicle networking technology, the intelligent fatigue driving detection technology has been introduced into the paper in order to recognize the fatigue state of the vehicle driver and avoid the traffic accident. The disadvantages of the traditional fatigue driving detection method have been pointed out when we study on the traditional eye tracking technology and traditional artificial neural networks. On the basis of the image topological analysis technology, Haar like features and extreme learning machine algorithm, a new detection method of the intelligent fatigue driving has been proposed in the paper. Besides, the detailed algorithm and realization scheme of the intelligent fatigue driving detection have been put forward as well. Finally, by comparing the results of the simulation experiments, the new method has been verified to have a better robustness, efficiency and accuracy in monitoring and tracking the drivers＇ fatigue driving by using the human eye tracking technology.

Rice ratooning,the fast outgrowth of dormant buds on stubble,is an important cropping practice in rice production.However,the low ratooning ability(RA)of most rice varieties restricts the application of this cost-efficient system,and the genetic basis of RA remains unknown.In this study,we dissected the genetic architecture of RA by a genome-wide association study in a natural rice population.Rice ratooning ability 3(RRA3),encoding a hitherto not characterized nucleoredoxin involved in reduction of disulfide bonds,was identified as the causal gene of a major locus controlling RA.Overexpression of RRA3 in rice significantly accelerated leaf senescence and reduced RA,whereas knockout of RRA3 significantly delayed leaf senescence and increased RA and ratoon yield.We demonstrated that RRA3 interacts with Oryza sativa histidine kinase 4(OHK4),a cytokinin receptor,and inhibits the dimerization of OHK4 through disulfide bond reduction.This inhibition ultimately led to decreased cytokinin signaling and reduced RA.In addition,variations in the RRA3 promoter were identified to be associated with RA.Introgression of a superior haplotype with weak expression of RRA3 into the elite rice variety Guichao 2 significantly increased RA and ratoon yield by 23.8%.Collectively,this study not only uncovers an undocumented regulatory mechanism of cytokinin signaling through de-dimerization of a histidine kinase receptor-but also provides an eximious gene with promising value for ratoon rice breeding.

Statistical analysis of one Chinese sun-synchronous satellite anomalies

Based on the data from the Medium-Energy Proton and Electron Detector(MEPED)onboard NOAA-17,141 anomalies of a Chinese Sun-Synchronous satellite(SSO-X)that occurred between 02/01/2010 and 09/31/2012 were studied statistically.About 26 out of the 52 anomalies that occurred outside the South Atlantic Anomaly(SAA)were accompanied by energetic electron storms.Superposed Epoch Analysis(SEA)was used to analyze the properties of the anomalies and the dynamics of the space environments during these 26 events.Then,a Monte Carlo method was utilized to simulate the electron deposition and the interactions of the injected electrons with an aluminum shield and polyethylene dielectric.The average,median,and75th percentile values of the maximum electric field strength inside the dielectric were calculated.The results showed the following.(1)SSO-X anomalies are more likely to occur within the SAA,as 89 out of 141 anomalies(63%)occurred there.(2)Twenty-six of the anomalies that occurred outside the SAA during energetic electron storms were located near the outer boundaries of the outer radiation belts,and these were more frequent in the Southern Hemisphere than in the Northern Hemisphere.(3)Electron flux enhancements occurred around the failure time at all energy levels but were more profound in the lower energy channels.The maximum fluxes of electrons>30 ke V,>100 ke V,and>300 ke V were 106,3.5×10~5,and 1.2×10~6cm^(-2) s^(-1)sr^(-1),respectively.(4)The average,median,and 75th percentile values of the maximum electric field strengths inside the dielectric for the aforementioned 26 events remained in the range from 10~6 to 10~7 V/m for long time periods,which suggests that the‘potential hazards’of internal discharges cause SSO-X anomalies.The above results can provide useful information for the design and protection of sun-synchronous spacecraft.
