With the rapid development of biotechnology,the number of biological sequences has grown *** continuous expansion of biological sequence data promotes the application of machine learning in biological sequences to construct predictive models for mining biological sequence *** are many branches of biological sequence classification *** this review,we mainly focus on the function and modification classification of biological sequences based on machine ***-based prediction and analysis are the basic tasks to understand the biological functions of DNA,RNA,proteins,and ***,there are hundreds of classification models developed for biological sequences,and the quite varied specific methods seem dizzying at first ***,we aim to establish a long-term support website(http://***/~acy/BioseqData/***),which provides readers with detailed information on the classification method and download links to relevant *** briefly introduce the steps to build an effective model framework for biological sequence *** addition,a brief introduction to single-cell sequencing data analysis methods and applications in biology is also ***,we discuss the current challenges and future perspectives of biological sequence classification research.

It is a necessary step to estimate the spreading sequence of direct sequence spread spectrum （DSSS） signal for blind despreading and demodulation in non-cooperative communications. Two innovative and effective detection statistics are proposed to implement the synchronization and spreading sequence estimation procedure. The proposed algorithm also has a low computational complexity with only linear additions and modifications. Theoretical analysis and simulation results show that the algorithm performs quite well in low SNR environment, and is much better than all the existing typical algorithms with a comprehensive consideration both in performance and computational complexity.

The choice of weights in frequentist model average estimators is an important but difficult problem. liang et al. (2011) suggested a criterion for the choice of weight under a general parametric framework which is termed as the generalized OPT (GOPT) criterion in the present paper. However, no properties and applications of the criterion have been studied. This paper is devoted to the further investigation of the GOPT criterion. We show that how to use this criterion for comparison of some existing weights such as the smoothed AIC-based and BIC-based weights and for the choice between model averaging and model selection. Its connection to the Mallows and ordinary OPT criteria is built. The asymptotic optimality on the criterion in the case of non-random weights is also obtained. Finite sample performance of the GOPT criterion is assessed by simulations. Application to the analysis of two real data sets is presented as well.

Immunology is the study of the structure and function of the immune system. The immune system consists of an earlier-stage innate immunity and a later-stage adap-tive immunity. The task of the immune system is to efficiently respond to non-self antigens and the invasion of pathogens, thereby protecting the host’s homeostasis. This review article discusses the structure and function of the epididymis, in-cluding the composition of the epithelial cells of the epidi-dymis and their relationship to the immune system, through the assessment of alterations in the immune cells of the epididymis. The review also shows the anti-inflammatory properties of rat epididymal defensin and the description of the blood-epididymis barrier, immune barrier, epididymitis and pathological mechanisms of infertility in males. Taken together, we see that the epididymis possesses a close link with immunology. Finally, this review discusses the future of studies involving epididymal immunology.

Improved Algorithms for Removing Isolated Non-Meteorological Echoes and Ground Clutters in CINRAD

Using China New Generation Weather Radar （CINRAD） level-Ⅱ data, the original algorithms for removing isol-ated non-meteorological echoes and ground clutters in radar data, which have been applied to Weather Surveillance Radar-1988 Doppler （WSR-88D） in the USA and Severe Weather Automatic Nowcast （SWAN） system in China, are modified and improved. To remove isolated non-meteorological echoes, the new algorithm introduces a constraint parameter （Po） to distinguish whether a window of 5 x 5 points is isolated as external echoes. A statistical analysis of 150 radar scans （5 cases, with each case comprising 30 scans） under three different echo types （small-scale convec-tion, typhoon, and large-scale synoptic system） shows that the constraint parameter Po ≤ 0.167 is suitable for remov- ing isolated non-meteorological echoes while preserving the edge of meteorological echoes. A new parameter, NDZ, which promotes the ability of the algorithm to identify the ground clutters appearing at two adjacent elevation angles, is constructed based on the vertical continuity of reflectivity. These improved algorithms are tested for four cases （three cases of isolated non-meteorological echoes and one case of ground clutters）. Based on the statistics of 232 volume scans of radar data （on a temporal resolution of 1 h） measured at Nanchang station from 0000 UTC 5 to 1600 UTC 14 March 2015, it is found that the improved algorithms not only eliminate most （over 95% under clear-sky conditions） of the isolated non-meteorological echoes and ground clutters （including those appearing at two adjacent elevation angles）, but also well preserve the structure of meteorological echoes （storms）.

Elastic anisotropy of shales is critical to accurate constraints for rock physical models,quantitative interpretation and hydraulic ***,the causes of elastic anisotropy of shales are very complicated,and the understanding of how multiple influence factors affect the elastic anisotropy of shales is still not ***,the orthogonal experiment,as an effective multiple factors experimental method,is adopted in this study to analyze the effect of multiple factors for shale elastic *** factors,clay content,organic matter(OM)content and compaction stress are selected as independent variables,the orthogonal test table L_(16)(4^(3))with four levels for each factor is *** to the designed orthogonal table,sixteen artificial shales are constructed based on the cold-pressing method,and all the dry artificial shales are measured by the ultrasonic *** influence of each factor on the elastic anisotropy and the sensitivity orders of three factors are obtained using the range *** orders of sensitivity for selected factors follow the sequence clay content>compaction stress>OM content for velocity anisotropy *** compaction mechanism of artificial shales is also discussed by the compaction factor,which are positively correlated with the velocity anisotropy *** clay platelets orientation distribution function(ODF)of samples is evaluated by a theoretical model,the ODF coefficients are significantly affected by the clay content and compaction stress,and W200 are much more sensitive to these factors than *** results can provide a critical rock physics basis for quantitative interpretation and reservoir prediction of the low-maturity or maturity shale reservoir.

There has been an increase in the incidence of hypopharyngeal and cervical esophageal cancer worldwide,and hence growing needs for hypopharyngeal and cervical esophageal tissue *** work produced a bi-layer composite scaffold with decellularized small intestine submucosa and polylactic-co-glycolic acid,which resembled the layered architectures of its intended *** decellularized small intestine submucosa contained minimal residual DNA(52.5±61.2 ng/mg)and the composite scaffold exhibited satisfactory mechanical properties(a tensile modulus of 21.1±64.8 MPa,an ultimate tensile strength of 14.0±62.9MPa and a failure strain of 26.9±65.1%).The interactions between cells and the respective layers of the scaffold were characterized by CCK-8 assays,immunostaining and Western *** cell proliferation and phenotypic behaviors were *** results have provided an important basis for the next-step in vivo studies of the scaffold,and bode well for its future clinical applications.

The multi-energy complementary ecosystem is an important form of the modern energy ***,standardized evaluation criteria and the corresponding method framework have not yet been formed,resulting in unclear standards and irregular processes of its *** cope with this issue,a novel comprehensive evaluation framework for multi-energy complementary ecosystems is proposed in this ***,a 5D comprehensive evaluation criteria system,including environment,economy,technology,safety and systematicness,is ***,a novel multicriteria decision-making model integrating an analytic network process,entropy and preference-ranking organization method for enrichment evaluation under an intuitional fuzzy environment is ***,four practical cases are used for model testing and empirical *** results of the research show that the unit cost of the energy supply and the internal rate of return indexes have the highest weights of 0.142 and 0.010,*** means that they are the focus in the construction of a multi-energy complementary *** net flows of four cases are 0.015,0.123,-0.132 and-0.005,indicating that cases with a variety of energy supply forms and using intelligent management and control platforms to achieve cold,heat and electrical coupling have more advantages.
