Microbial fuel cell(MFC)technology has emerged as an effective solution for energy insecurity and ***,identifying suitable components(particularly separators or membranes)with the required properties,such as low cost and high performance,remains challenging and restricts practical *** membranes,such as Nafion,exhibit excellent performance in ***,these membranes have high production costs,which considerably increase the overall MFC unit cell *** the numerous types,the separators or membranes developed from biopolymers and naturally occurring earthen sources have proven to be a novel and efficient concept due to their natural abundance,cost-effectiveness(approximately$20 m^(-2),$5 m^(-2),and$1 kg-1for biopolymers,ceramics,and earthensources,respectively),structural properties,proton transportation,manufacturing and modification ease,and environmental *** this review,we emphasize cost-effective renewable green materials(biopolymers,bio-derived materials,and naturally occurring soil,clay,ceramics or minerals)for MFC applications for the first *** with good thermal,mechanical,and water retention properties,sustainability,and environmental friendliness,such as cellulose and chitosan,are typically ***,the modification or introduction of various functional groups in biopolymers to enhance their functional properties and scale MFC power density is ***,separator/membrane development using various bio-sources(such as coconut shells,banana peels,chicken feathers,and tea waste ash)is ***,naturally occurring sources such as clay,montmorillonite,and soils(including red,black,rice-husk,and Kalporgan soil)for MFC were *** conclusion,the existing gap in MFC technology was filled by providing recommendations for future aspects based on the barriers in cost,environment,and characteristics.

Trigonelline mitigates bleomycin-induced idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis in mice

Cloud computing provides a diverse and adaptable resource pool over the internet,allowing users to tap into various resources as *** has been seen as a robust solution to relevant challenges.A significant delay can hamper the performance of IoT-enabled cloud ***,efficient task scheduling can lower the cloud infrastructure’s energy consumption,thus maximizing the service provider’s revenue by decreasing user job processing *** proposed Modified Chimp-Whale Optimization Algorithm called Modified Chimp-Whale Optimization Algorithm(MCWOA),combines elements of the Chimp Optimization Algorithm(COA)and the Whale Optimization Algorithm(WOA).To enhance MCWOA’s identification precision,the sobol sequence is used in the population initialization phase,ensuring an even distribution of the population across the solution ***,the traditional MCWOA’s local search capabilities are augmented by incorporating the whale optimization algorithm’s bubble-net hunting and random search mechanisms into MCWOA’s position-updating *** study demonstrates the effectiveness of the proposed approach using a two-story rigid frame and a simply supported beam *** outcomes reveal that the new method outperforms the original MCWOA,especially in multi-damage detection *** excels in avoiding false positives and enhancing computational speed,making it an optimal choice for structural damage *** efficiency of the proposed MCWOA is assessed against metrics such as energy usage,computational expense,task duration,and *** simulated data indicates that the new MCWOA outpaces other methods across all *** study also references the Whale Optimization Algorithm(WOA),Chimp Algorithm(CA),Ant Lion Optimizer(ALO),Genetic Algorithm(GA)and Grey Wolf Optimizer(GWO).

Characterization of early maturing elite genotypes based on MTsI and MGIDI indexes:an illustration in upland cotton(Gossypium hirsutum L.)

Background Globally,the cultivation of cotton is constrained by its tendency for extended periods of *** maturity plays a potential role in rainfed-based multiple cropping system especially in the current era of climate *** the current study,a set of 20 diverse Gossypium hirsutum genotypes were evaluated in two crop seasons with three planting densities and assessed for 11 morphological traits related to early *** study aimed to identify genotype(s)that mature rapidly and accomplish well under diverse environmental conditions based on the two robust multivariate techniques called multi-trait stability index(MTsI)and multi-trait genotype-ideotype distance index(MGIDI).Results MTsI analysis revealed that out of the 20 genotypes,three genotypes,viz.,NNDC-30,A-2,and s-32 accomplished well in terms of early maturity traits in two ***,three genotypes were selected using MGIDI method for each planting densities with a selection intensity of 15%.The strengths and weaknesses of the genotypes selected based on MGIDI method highlighted that the breeders could focus on developing early-maturing genotypes with specific traits such as days to first flower and boll *** selected genotypes exhibited positive genetic gains for traits related to earliness and a successful harvest during the first and second ***,there were negative gains for traits related to flowering and boll *** The study identified three genotypes exhibiting early maturity and accomplished well under different planting *** multivariate methods(MTsI and MGIDI)serve as novel approaches for selecting desired genotypes in plant breeding programs,especially across various growing *** methods offer exclusive benefits and can easily construe and minimize multicollinearity issues.

Improved region growing segmentation for breast cancer detection:progression of optimized fuzzy classifier

Purpose-Breast cancer is one of the most common malignant tumors in women,which badly have an effect on women’s physical and psychological health and even danger to ***,mammography is considered as a fundamental criterion for medical practitioners to recognize breast ***,due to the intricate formation of mammogram images,it is reasonably hard for practitioners to spot breast cancer ***/methodology/approach-Breast cancer is one of the most common malignant tumors in women,which badly have an effect on women’s physical and psychological health and even danger to ***,mammography is considered as a fundamental criterion for medical practitioners to recognize breast ***,due to the intricate formation of mammogram images,it is reasonably hard for practitioners to spot breast cancer ***-The performance analysis was done for both segmentation and *** the analysis,the accuracy of the proposed IAP-CsA-based fuzzy was 41.9%improved than the fuzzy classifier,2.80%improved than PsO,WOA,and CsA,and 2.32%improved than GWO-based fuzzy ***,the accuracy of the developed IAP-CsA-fuzzy was 9.54%better than NN,35.8%better than sVM,and 41.9%better than the existing fuzzy ***,it is concluded that the implemented breast cancer detection model was efficient in determining the normal,benign and malignant ***/value-This paper adopts the latest Improved Awareness Probability-based Crow search Algorithm(IAP-CsA)-based Region growing and fuzzy classifier for enhancing the breast cancer detection of mammogram images,and this is the first work that utilizes this method.
