Dear Editor,Introduction of prostate-specific membrane antigen positron-emission tomography/contrast-enhanced computed tomography(PSMA PET/CECT)for prostate cancer staging and follow-up have increased detection of metastases even in non-regional nodes,often in oligometastatic or oligorecurrent state[1].Some of these merit metastases-directed therapy(MDT)such as surgery or radiotherapy(RT)with curative intent.

Seed Priming with Beta-Amino Butyric Acid Improves Abiotic Stress Tolerance in Rice Seedlings

We studied the influence of seed priming with beta-amino butyric acid（BABA） on the growth, physiological and biochemical parameters of seedlings with varied abiotic stress tolerance, which were raised and grown under unstressed and stressed（NaCl/PEG-6000） conditions. Under stressed conditions, the growth of rice seedlings was less when compared to control plants. After BABA priming, the seedling growth increased both under unstressed and stressed conditions as compared to the respective controls. BABA priming of rice seeds caused increase in the photosynthetic pigment content of the leaves, modified the chlorophyll a fluorescence related parameters and also enhanced the photosystem activities of seedlings when compared to their respective non-primed controls. BABA priming also caused increased mitochondrial activities of the rice seedlings. Moreover, BABA priming significantly reduced malondialdehyde content in the seedlings and also resulted in accumulation of proline especially in the NaCl tolerant variety Vyttila 6. BABA seed priming also enhanced the activity of nitrate reductase enzyme and activities of antioxidant enzymes like guaiacol peroxidase and superoxide dismutase. The presence of BABA was detected by high performance thin layer chromatography analysis in the rice seeds whereas in the seedlings it was not detected. Thus, it can be inferred that the seed priming effect of BABA mainly occurred within the seeds, which was further carried to the seedlings. It is concluded that BABA priming of seeds improved the drought and salinity stress tolerance of all the three rice varieties and it was significantly evident in the drought tolerant variety Vaisakh and NaCl tolerant variety Vyttila 6, when compared to the stress sensitive variety Neeraja.

Several organizations have migrated to the cloud for better quality in business engagements and security. Data quality is crucial in present-day activities. Information is generated and collected from data representing real-time facts and activities. Poor data quality affects the organizational decision-making policy and customer satisfaction, and influences the organization’s scheme of execution negatively. Data quality also has a massive influence on the accuracy, complexity and efficiency of the machine and deep learning tasks. There are several methods and tools to evaluate data quality to ensure smooth incorporation in model development. The bulk of data quality tools permit the assessment of sources of data only at a certain point in time, and the arrangement and automation are consequently an obligation of the user. In ensuring automatic data quality, several steps are involved in gathering data from different sources and monitoring data quality, and any problems with the data quality must be adequately addressed. There was a gap in the literature as no attempts have been made previously to collate all the advances in different dimensions of automatic data quality. This limited narrative review of existing literature sought to address this gap by correlating different steps and advancements related to the automatic data quality systems. The six crucial data quality dimensions in organizations were discussed, and big data were compared and classified. This review highlights existing data quality models and strategies that can contribute to the development of automatic data quality systems.

Objective:To investigate the effect of alpha-lipoic acid(ALA)supplementation on systolic blood pressure(SBP),renal oxidant-antioxidant status and renal damage in spontaneously hypertensive rats(SHR)and SHR administered with Nω-nitro-L-arginine methyl ester(L-NAME).Methods:Male rats were divided into four groups(SHR,SHR+ALA,SHR+L-NAME,SHR+ALA+L-NAME).The respective group of rats was administered with ALA(100 mg/kg/day)from age 4 weeks to 28 weeks and L-NAME(25 mg/kg/day)from age 16 weeks to 28 *** was measured every two weeks and twenty four hour urine was collected at 4 weeks,16 weeks and 28 weeks for estimation of protein,creatinine and N-acetyl-e end of 28 weeks,rats were sacrificed and blood and kidneys colα-*** thlected for assessment of blood creatinine,kidney thiobarbituric acid reactive substances,protein carbonyls,superoxide dismutase,catalase,glutathione peroxidase,glutathione reductase,glutathione S-transferase,glutathione disulfide,glutathione,total antioxidant status and nitric oxide as well as histopathological ***:ALA supplementation significantly reduced SBP of SHR and SHR+L-NAME rats when compared to their respective non-supplemented *** oxidant status markers including thiobarbituric acid reactive substances and protein carbonyls were significantly reduced on SHR and SHR+L-NAME rats supplemented with ALA at 28 weeks as well as ALA supplementation significantly increased renal antioxidants including superoxide dismutase,catalase,glutathione peroxidase,glutathione S-transferase,glutathione and glutathione/glutathione disulfide ratio at 28 *** significant change in nitric oxide levels was observed between the ALA supplemented and non-supplemented *** dysfunction was ameliorated on ALA supplementation as evidenced by significant reduction in urine protein levels,N-acetyl-α-D-glucosaminidase activity and significant increase of creatinine clearance in SHR and SHR+L-NAME at 28 *** histop

Petroleum refinery wastewater （PRW） containing hydrocarbon is highly toxic to the environment and the surrounding ecosystem. Proper treatment of the PRW effluent is necessary to remove the pollutants before discharge. Bioremediation is considered to be a promising approach as it is eco- friendly and efficient. The exopolysaccharide （EPS） produced by the O. anthropi acts as a bioemulsifier and showed the highest emulsification activity of 60% on diesel. An EPS yield of about 0.42 g/L was obtained under optimized conditions. The carbohydrate and protein content of the EPS was found to be 71.1% and 19.7% respectively, showing the glycoprotein nature. The structural properties of EPS were analyzed by FT-IR and 1H NMR. The batch degradation of oil in PRW by O. anthropi was studied gravimetrically, and showed about 53% degradation in 7 days, indicating the strong ability of the isolated strain to degrade the hydrocarbons in PRW.

Meteorite impact craters as hotspots for mineral resources and energy fuels:A global review

The ever-increasing recovery rate of natural resources from terrestrial impact craters over the last fewdecades across the globe offers new avenues for further exploration of mineral and hydrocarbon resources in such *** of today,60 of the 208 terrestrial craters have been identified to host diverseresources such as hydrocarbons,metals and construction *** potential of craters as plausibleresource contributors to the energy sector is therefore,worthy of consideration,as 42(70%)of the 60craters host energy resources such as oil,gas,coal,uranium,mercury,critical and major minerals as wellas hydropower *** others,19 craters are of well-developed hydrocarbon *** associated with craters are also classified similar to other mineral resources such as progenetic,syngenetic and epigenetic *** these,the progenetic and syngenetic mineralization are confinedto the early and late excavation stage of impact crater evolution,respectively,whereas epigenetic deposits are formed during and after the modification stage of crater ***,progenetic andsyngenetic mineral deposits(like Fe,Ni,Pb,Zn and Cu)associated with craters are formed as a directresult of the impact event,whereas epigenetic deposits(***)are hosted by the impactstructure and result from post-impact *** the progenetic and syngenetic deposits,the shockwave induced fracturing and melting aid the formation of deposits,whereas in the epigenetic deposits,the highly fractured lithostratigraphic units of higher porosity and permeability,like the centralelevated area(CEA)or the rim,act as *** this review,we provide a holistic view of the mineral andenergy resources associated with impact craters,and use some of the remote sensing techniques toidentify the mineral deposits as supplemented by a schematic model of the types of deposits formedduring cratering process.

New neurons are generated and integrate into existing circuitry within the hippocampal dentate gyrus and the olfactory bulb of most mammals （Gage and Temple, 2013）. Neurogenesis in the hippocampus persists through adulthood, and while its function and importance remains unclear, it appears to be required in the formation of specific types of learning and memory that may be compromised in neurological disorders （Gage and Temple, 2013）. A balanced translocation in Disrupted-in-Schizophrenia 1 （DISC1） was discovered in a large Scottish family with a high incidence of schizophrenia, bipolar disorder and major depressive disorder （Millar et al., 2000）, and several independent animal models demonstrate that DISC1 mediates multiple aspects of embryonic and adult neurogenesis. Here, we will discuss the data linking DISC1 to neurogenesis, and define some of the questions that remain unanswered regarding DISC1 function.

Background： Landscapes consist of heterogeneous interacting dynamic elements with complex ecological, economic and cultural attributes. These complex interactions help in the sustenance of natural resources through bio-geochemical and hydrological cycling. The ecosystem functions are altered with changes in the landscape structure, Fragmentation of large contiguous forests to small and isolated forest patches either by natural phenomena or anthropogenic activities leads to drastic changes in forest patch sizes, shape, connectivity and internal heterogeneity, which restrict the movement leading to inbreeding among Meta populations with extirpation of species. Methods： Landscape dynamics are assessed through land use analysis by way of remote sensing data acquired at different time periods. Forest fragmentation is assessed at the pixel level through computation of two indicators, i.e., Pf （the ratio of pixels that are forested to the total non-water pixels in the window） and P~ （the proportion of all adjacent （cardinal directions only） pixel pairs that include at least one forest pixel, for which both pixels are forested）. Results： Uttara Kannada District has the distinction of having the highest forest cover in Karnataka State, India. This region has been experiencing changes in its forest cover and consequent alterations in functional abilities of its ecosystem. Temporal land use analyses show the trend of deforestation, evident from the reduction of evergreen - semi evergreen forest cover from 57.31% （1979） to 32.08 % （2013） Forest fragmentation at the landscape level shows a decline of interior forests 64.42 % （1979） to 25.62 % （20] 3） and transition of non-forest categories such as crop land, plantations and built-up areas, amounting now to 47.29 %. PCA prioritized geophysical and socio variables responsible for changes in the landscape structure at local levels. User authentication is critical to the security of any information system. The traditional text-based passwords and even biometric systems based on face and fingerprint validation suffer from various drawbacks. Voice-based authentication systems have emerged as an effective alternative method. Within the user authentication systems, the server-side voice authentication systems added advantages. The purpose of this paper is to present an innovative approach to the use of voice verification for user authentication. This paper describes a new framework for the implementation of server-side voice authentication, ensuring that only the users who are authenticated and validated can access the system. In addition to providing enhanced security and a more pleasant user experience, this technology has potential applications in a wide range of fields.
