Superconductivity in the cuprates： Deduction of m.chanism.for d-wave pairing through analysis of ARPES

In the Eliashberg integral equations for d-wave superconductivity, two different functions （α2F）n（ω, θ） and （α2F）p,d（ω） determ.ne, respectively, the ＂norm.l＂ self-energy and the ＂pairing＂ self-energy, w is the frequency of fluctuations scattering the ferm.ons whose m.m.ntum.is near the Ferm.-surface and m.kes an angle θ to a chosen axis. We present a quantitative analysis of the high-resolution laser based Angle Resolved Photoem.ssion Spectroscopy （ARPES） data on a slightly under doped cuprate com.ound Bi2212 and use the Eliashberg equations to deduce the w and dependence of （α2F）n（ω, θ） for T just above Tc and below Tc. Besides its detailed w dependence, we find the rem.rkable result that this function is nearly independent of θ between the （π; π）-direction and 25 degrees from.it, except for the dependence of the cut-off energy on 8. Assum.ng that the sam. fluctuations determ.ne both the norm.l and the pairing self-energy, we ask what theories give the function （α2F）p,d（ω） required for the d-wave pairing instability at high tem.eratures as well as the deduced （α2F）n（θ, w）. We show that the deduced （α2F）n（θ, w） can only be obtained from.antiferrom.gnetic （AFm. fluctuations if their correlation length is sm.ller than a lattice constant. Using （α2F）p,d（W） consistent with such a correlation length and the sym.etry of m.trix-elem.nts scatter- ing ferm.ons by AFm.fluctuations, we calculate Tc and show that AFm.fluctuations are excluded as the pairing m.chanism.for d-wave superconductivity in cuprates. We also consider the quantum.ritical fluctuations derived m.croscopically as the fluctuations of the observed loop-current order discovered in the under-doped cuprates, and which lead to the m.rginal Ferm.-liquid properties in the norm.l state. We show that their frequency dependence and the m.m.ntum.dependence of their m.trix-elem.nts to scatter ferm.ons are consistent with the θ and w dependence of the deduced （α2F）n（ω, θ）. A wireless sensor network is one of the networks that is highly dem.nding by various real-tim.networking applications nowadays. A huge am.unt of sensor nodes is deployed in the networkrandom.y and distributed. m.st of the applications using wireless sensor network (WSN) aresurveillance m.nitoring applications like a forest, hom., healthcare, environm.nt, and rem.tem.nitoring system.. Based on the application usage, the type of sensor, a num.er of sensornodes are deployed in such a m.nner where the sensors can be used effectively. But the sensornodes are restricted in the battery and sensing region. Thus, the battery of the sensor nodesis decreased based on the nodes’ function. The energy level of the sensor nodes highly affectsthe network lifetim.. Im.roving the energy efficiency in WSN is one of the m.st im.ortant challengingtasks. m.st of the earlier research works have proposed various m.thods, techniques,and routing protocols, but they are application dependent and as a com.on m.thod. So, thispaper is m.tivated to propose a m.lti-Conditional Network Analysis (m.NA) fram.work for savingthe energy level of the sensor nodes by reducing energy consum.tion. Them.NAfram.workinvolves two different clustering processes with cluster head selection, choosing the best nodesbased on the signal strength, and the best route for data transm.ssion. The data transm.ssionis done by cluster based on source-destination based. The sim.lation results proved that theproposed m.NA fram.work outperform. the other existing m.thods.

An Efficient Tide-Surge Interaction m.del for the Coast of Bangladesh

The num.rical m.thod of lines(m.Ls)in coordination with the classical fourth-order Runge Kutta(RK(4,4))m.thod is used to solve shallow water equations(SWEs)for foreseeing water levels owing to the nonlinear interaction of tide and surge accom.anying with a storm.along the coast of *** SWEs are developed by extending the body forces with tide generating forces(TGFs).Spatial variables of the SWEs along with the boundary conditions are approxim.ted by m.ans of finite difference technique on an Arakawa C-grid to attain a system.of ordinary differential equations(ODEs)of initial valued in tim.,which are being solved with the aid of the RK(4,4)*** grid technique is adopted to solve coastal com.lexities closely with least com.utational cost.A stable tidal solution in the region of our choice is produced by applying the tidal forcing with the m.jor tidal constituent m.(lunar sem.-diurnal)along the southern open-sea boundary of the outer *** experim.ntations are carried out to sim.late water levels generated by the cyclonic storm.AILA along the coast of *** m.del sim.lated results are found to be in a reasonable agreem.nt with the lim.ted available reported data and observations.

Effect of Gd addition on the superconducting properties of Ti-based V, Nb, Ta alloys

The critical current density(Jc)of the body centered cubic(bcc)V0.6Ti0.4 alloy enhances significantly after the addition of rare earth Gd as the latter is im.iscible in the m.trix[***,***,IEEE ***.31,5(2021)].Very low solubility of Gd in other bcc elem.nts like Ta and Nb is also well known[*** Gschneidner in Prog Sci Technol Rare Earths,vol.1,pp.222–258,1964&m.Neuberger,*** in Handbook of Electronic m.terials,Vol 4,1972].We use these facts to find the effect of adding 1 at.%Gd into the Nb0.6Ti0.4 and Ta0.4Ti0.6 alloys on the superconducting properties e.g.,the transition tem.erature(Tc),Jc,flux pinning force density(Fp)and the *** spite of Gd being ferrom.gnetic,the Tc in these alloys change only m.rginally(increase by 0.3 K in Ta0.4Ti0.6 and decrease by 0.15 K in Nb0.6Ti0.4 after Gd *** Jc(H?1 T,T=4 K)increases by 5 and 1.5 tim.s respectively in the Gd containing Nb0.6Ti0.4 and Ta0.4Ti0.6 alloys,which is quite sm.ll as com.ared to the increase observed in the V0.6Ti0.4(20 tim.s)*** Gd addition,the grain size reduces approxim.tely by 65%and 10%respectively in Nb0.6Ti0.4 and *** analysis indicates that grain boundaries are the m.jor flux line pinning centres in these alloys and the role of Gd in increasing the Jc depends on the effectiveness of Gd in reducing the grain *** grain boundary density depends strongly on the distribution of Gd precipitates,which is quite different from.each other for two alloy system. under ***,our results suggest that the addition of Gd to com.ercial Nb‐Ti(Nb0.37Ti0.63)alloy is a new prom.sing route for achieving higher Jc values.
