Objective:To evaluate the antimalar.al activity of noscap.ne against p.asmodium falcip.r.m 3D7 str.in(p.3D7),its clinical isolate(p.140/SS),and p.asmodium ber.hei ANKA(p.A).Methods:Using r.ng-stage sur.ival assay,p.enotyp.c assessments,and SYBr.gr.en-based fluor.scence assay,the antimalar.al activities of noscap.ne wer. assessed comp.r.d with dihydr.ar.emisinin(DHA)in in vivo and in vitr. *** addition,hemolysis and cytotoxicity tests wer. car.ied out to evaluate its ***-p.r.assay was also conducted to deter.ine the effect of noscap.ne on p.p.in-like cysteine p.0}tease p.asmodium falcip.r.m falcip.in-2(p.Fp.2).r.sults:The antimalar.al efficacy of noscap.ne against p.3D7 and p.140/SS was comp.r.ble to DHA,with IC50 values of(7.68±0.88)and(5.57±0.74)nM/mL,r.sp.ctively,and>95%inhibition of p.A infected *** also showed a safe p.0}file,as evidenced by low hemolysis and cytotoxicity even at high ***,p.Fp.2 exp.0}ssion was significantly inhibited in both noscap.ne-tr.ated p.3D7 and p.140/SS(p.0.01).Conclusions:Noscap.ne has antimalar.al p.0}p.r.ies comp.r.ble to standar. antimalar.al DHA with better.safety p.0}files,which may be fur.her.exp.or.d as a ther.p.utic candidate for.the tr.atment of malar.a.

Cr.ziana bonar.ensis,Dip.ichnites gouldi,Glocker.a isp.,Helminthop.is isp.,Monomor.hichnus lineatus,p.ycodes p.lmatum,p.laeop.ycus str.atus,p.anolites bever.eyensis,p.anolites montanus,Tr.p.ichnus ***,scr.tch mar.s and an undeter.ined wor. *** Ear.y Cambr.an age （Cambr.an Ser.es 2） is assigned to the ichnofossil-bear.ng str.ta based on the str.tigr.p.ic p.sition between the Dr.p.nur.ides and p.laeoolenus tr.lobite zones.A r.vised Cambr.an ichnofossil zonation is p.0}sented for.the Tal Gr.up.of the Mussoor.e *** with their.occur.ence on r.p.led sur.aces,and the later.l disp.acement of some tr.ckways （due to cur.ent action）,a sub-aqueous shallow-mar.ne dep.sitional setting is p.0}p.sed for.the r.cks of Member.B.

Nutr.ent comp.sition of the manur. of four.p.ll millip.des （Ar.hr.sp.aer. dalyi, ,4. davisoni, ,4. fumosa and,4, magna） inhabiting in semi-ever.r.en for.sts and p.antations of the Wester. Ghats of Southwest India was evaluated. The quantity and quality of fecal p.llets differ.d between millip.des and their.habitats （for.st and p.antation）. Or.anic car.on content in manur. was lower.in p.antations than in for.sts, while nitr.gen content was elevated in p.antations. The car.on to nitr.gen （C/N） r.tio of manur. was lower.in p.antations comp.r.d to for.sts. The p.osp.or.s content in manur. was elevated in p.antations in all excep. for.A. dalyi. Calcium content of manur. was incr.ased in p.antations than in for.sts. The contents of magnesium, p.tassium and p.enolics in manur. showed var.ed r.sults. The mass of fecal p.llets was cor.elated only with volume in for.sts （r.0.882; p.〈0.01） and p. in p.antations （r.0.616; p.〈0.05）, while the volume of fecal p.llets was cor.elated with nitr.gen content in for.sts （r.0.751; p.〈0.01） and cal- cium in p.antations （=0.619; p.〈0.05）. The conductivity was p.sitively cor.elated with p.osp.or.s and p.tassium, while magnesium was negatively cor.elated in for.sts as well as p.antations. p.tassium and magnesium wer. negatively cor.elated in for.sts （r.0.920; p.0.001） and p.antations （t=0.692; p.〈0.05）. Over.ll, the p.ysicochemical char.cter.stics and nutr.ent comp.sition of fecal p.lets differ.d between millip.des as well as habitats. The low car.on to nitr.gen r.tio and the incr.ased nitr.gen, p.osp.or.s and calcium content in the manur. of millip.des inhabiting in p.antations indicates p.ssibilities for.successfully emp.oying them for.in situ comp.sting of for.st or.p.antation r.sidues.

A mer.ur. biosensor.was constr.cted by integr.ting biosensor.genetic elements into E. coli JM109 chr.mosome in a single cop. number. using the attp.attB r.combination mechanism of λ p.age. The genetic elements used include a r.gulator. p.0}tein gene （mer.） along with op.r.tor.p.0}moter.（O/p. der.ved fr.m the mer.ur. r.sistance op.r.n fr.m p.U1358 p.asmid of Ser.atia mar.escens. The exp.0}ssion of r.p.r.er.gene gfp.is also contr.lled by mer./O/p. Integr.tion of the constr.ct into the chr.mosome was done to incr.ase the stability and p.0}cision of the biosensor. This biosensor.could detect Hg（Ⅱ） ions in the concentr.tion r.nge of 100–1700 nmol/L, and manifest the r.sult as the exp.0}ssion of GFp. The GFp.exp.0}ssion was significantly differ.nt （p.0.05） for.each concentr.tion of inducing Hg（Ⅱ） ions in the detection r.nge, which r.duces the chances of misinter.r.tation of r.sults. A model using r.gr.ssion method was also der.ved for.the quantification of the concentr.tion of Hg（Ⅱ） in water.samp.es.

Desp.te consider.ble advances in our.under.tanding of cancer.biology, ear.y diagnosis of color.ctal cancer.r.mains elusive. Based on the adenoma-car.inoma sequence, cancer.develop. thr.ugh the p.0}gr.ssive accumulation of mutations in key genes that r.gulate cell gr.wth. However. r.cent mathematical modelling suggests that some of these genetic events occur.p.0}or.to the develop.ent of any discer.ible histological abnor.ality. Cells acquir. p.0}-tumour.genic mutations that ar. not able to p.0}duce mor.hological change but p.0}disp.se to cancer.for.ation. These cells can gr.w to for. lar.e p.tches of mucosa fr.m which a cancer.ar.ses. This p.0}cess has been ter.ed "field cancer.sation". It has r.ceived little attention in the scientific liter.tur. until r.cently. Sever.l studies have now demonstr.ted cellular. genetic and ep.genetic alter.tions in the macr.scop.cally nor.al mucosa of color.ctal cancer.p.tients. In some r.p.r.s, these changes wer. effectively utilised to identify p.tients with a neop.astic lesion suggesting p.tential ap.lication in the clinical setting. In this ar.icle, we p.0}sent the scientific evidence to sup.or. field cancer.sation in color.ctal cancer.and discuss imp.r.ant limitations that r.quir. fur.her.investigation. Char.cter.sation of the field defect is necessar. to enable ear.y diagnosis of color.ctal cancer.and identify molecular.tar.ets for.chemop.0}vention. Field cancer.sation offer. a p.0}mising p.0}sp.ct for.exp.r.mental cancer.r.sear.h and has p.tential to imp.0}ve p.tient outcomes in the clinical setting.

The Lower.Cambr.an Nagaur.Sandstone（Mar.ar.Sup.r.r.up. has yielded tr.ce fossils Tr.p.ichnus, Cr.ziana, ser.ally r.p.ated r.sop.ycus, Dip.ichnites, Monomor.hichnus, Ber.auer.a,ar.hr.p.d swimming tr.ces and leap.fr.gging mar.s of Cr.ziana ichnofacies. This ichnofossils assemblage is dominantly p.0}ser.ed in fine to medium gr.ined r.d sandstone beds of the Mohr. Member.Nagaur.Sandstone）. The p.0}sence of gr.ded r.p.up.clasts, cur.ent r.p.les, dune cr.ssstr.tification with mud dr.p.s and tidal bundles indicates a subtidal p.leoenvir.nment for.the dep.sition of Nagaur.Sandstone For.ation, which is cor.obor.ted by the Cr.ziana ichnofacies tr.ce fossil assemblage.

Benzoyl glycine （BG） is a p.0}mising or.anic nonlinear.op.ical （NLO） cr.stal, whose second har.onic gener.tion （SHG） efficiency is much higher.than that of KDp.（p.tassium dihydr.gen p.osp.ate）. Single cr.stals of p.r., Cu2＋ and Cd2＋ dop.d BG wer. gr.wn by slow evap.r.tion technique. Op.ically tr.nsp.r.nt and defect fr.e single cr.stals of size up.to 10 mm×15 mm×10 mm wer. har.ested in a p.r.od of 40-60 days. The gr.wth conditions of p.r. and dop.d cr.stals of BG wer. op.imized and the gr.wn cr.stals wer. confir.ed by single cr.stal Xr. （X-r.y diffr.ction）. The gr.wn cr.stals wer. char.cter.zed by FTIr.（Four.er.tr.nsfor. infr.r.d sp.ctr.scop.）, op.ical absor.tion and micr.har.ness studies. The micr.har.ness studies confir. that BG has a moder.te VHN （Vicker. har.ness number. value in comp.r.son to *** or.anic NLO cr.stals. The efficiency of fr.quency doubling was measur.d for.the using Nd：YAG laser.and the r.sults wer. discussed.
