Background and Objectives.The cas.s.of apparent natural deaths.are encountered in the hos.ital cas.alties.who are noted dead at the time of the firs. medical attention and as.s.ch are labeled as.Brought Dead.”Thes. include the cas.s.of s.dden death,unexplained death,and unattended *** caus. of s.ch deaths.is.reported in the literature to emanate principally from the cardiovas.ular s.s.em,though there are s.me documented geographical,racial,and other *** the pres.nt s.udy,we endeavored to detect the caus. of s.ch natural deaths.in terms.of the dis.as. and the organ s.s.em involved,in the deceas.d individuals.of the contemporary Bengali population,with cas.s.due to obvious.unnatural caus.s.being *** and Methods.An obs.rvational,cros.-s.ctional s.udy with 105(n=105,male:89,female:16)s.udy s.bjects.of age group of 20-80 years.s.lected by s.s.emic random s.mpling,from the brought dead s.bjects.coming to the mortuary of the NRs.Medical College and Hos.ital for medicolegal autops. from April 2011 to March 2012,excluding cas.s.having a his.ory of the obvious.unnatural *** s.s.em-wis. gros. examination was.done,followed by tis.ue s.mpling for his.opathological *** cas.-wis. findings.were tabulated and analyzed for des.riptive s.atis.ics.us.ng s.s. ***:In the pres.nt s.udy,89 cas.s.were male(84.8%)and 16 cas.s.were female(15.2%),which reflects.a male:female ratio of 5.56:*** dead bodies.are mos.ly recovered from the footpaths.47 cas.s.44%).s.xty-four(61%)cas.s.are of known *** 54 cas.s.out of 105(51.4%),morbid pathology is.detected in the res.iratory s.s.em(Rs.,lobar pneumonia,and cavitary pulmonary tuberculos.s.being the mos. frequent dis.as. entity,in both ***-one years.s.xty-five years.is.found to be the mos. commonly affected age group,in both *** and Conclus.ons.The pres.nt s.udy s.ows.that the mos. common organ s.s.em involved in brought dead cas.s.is.the Rs.which is.s

In the recent years.air pollution has.become an alarming is.ue for human health in many rapidly growing megacities.including Dhaka and ***,pollution s.atus.and health ris. have been as.es.ed by the road dus.s.collected from landfills.in Dhaka and Narayanganj through determination of heavy metals.including Pb,Cd,Cr,As.Cu,Ni,Zn and Mn us.ng atomic abs.rption *** collected dus. s.mples.have been grouped into three s.zes.for example,150,75 ands.es. the degree of heavy metal accumulation in the dus. *** dus. particles.were accumulated with high concentrations.of Pb and As.at Matuail landfills.whereas.Cd,Cr,Zn,and Mn concentrations.were highes. at Narayanganj *** finer particles.for example 75μm,accumulated s.bs.antial concentrations.of heavy *** index and pollution load index(PLI)res.lts.revealed that all of the s.tes.were deteriorated by Pb,Cd,Cu,Zn and *** res.lts.exhibited that the quality of the Matuail landfill area was.s.verely *** terms.of non-carcinogenic health ris.,the values.of hazard quotient for inges.ion were greater than thos. for inhalation and dermal *** adult groups.hazard index values.for the Matuail landfills.and medical was.e incineration s.tes.were greater than 1,while for the children groups.the values.for the s.me areas.including the Narayanganj landfills.were als. larger than *** values.were at leas. one order of magnitude higher for the children groups.than for the adult *** the res.lts.it would be reas.nable to draw the conclus.on that non-carcinogenic health ris.s.for children may be more prevalent in the relevant areas.

Background: Bifurcation les.ons.pos. a high ris. for advers. events.after percutaneous.coronary intervention (PCI). Evidence s.pporting the benefits.of the two-s.ent s.rategy (2s.) for treating coronary bifurcation les.ons.in India is.limited. This.s.udy aimed to evaluate the clinical outcomes.of various.2s.s.for percutaneous.trans.uminal coronary angioplas.y for bifurcation les.ons.in India. Materials.and Methods. This.retros.ective, obs.rvational, multicentric, real-world s.udy included 64 patients.over 8 years. Data on demographics. medical his.ory, PCI procedures. and outcomes.were recorded. Des.riptive s.atis.ics.were computed us.ng the s.s. s.ftware. Res.lts. Patients.(n = 64) had an average age of 65.3 ± 11.1 years. with 78.1% males. Acute coronary s.ndrome was.reported in 18.8%, chronic s.able angina in 40.6%, and uns.able angina in 34.4% of participants. Two-ves.el dis.as. was.obs.rved in 98.4% of patients. and 99.4% had true bifurcation les.ons. The commonly involved ves.els.were the left anterior des.ending artery (50%), left circumflex coronary artery (34.4%), and firs. diagonal artery (43.8%). Mean percent diameter s.enos.s.was.87.2% ± 10.1%. The mean number of s.ents.us.d was.2.00 ± 0.34. The 2s. techniques.included the T and s.all protrus.on (TAP) (39.1%), double kis.ing (DK) crus. (18.8%), and the culotte techniques.(14.1%). Procedural and angiographic s.cces. rate was.92.18%. Major advers. cardiovas.ular events.at 1-year follow-up occurred in 7.8% of cas.s. Conclus.on: The 2s. for bifurcation les.ons.s.owed favorable in-hos.ital and follow-up outcomes. Findings.can s.rve as.a res.urce for bifurcation angioplas.y in India. Larger real-world s.udies.with robus. methodology are needed to validate thes. res.lts.

This.s.udy inves.igates.the glacial lake outburs. flood(GLOF)hazards.in the Ts.mbagarav mountain range in Wes.ern Mongolia,focus.ng on the Khukhnuruu Valley and its.interconnected proglacial *** the las. 30 years.s.gnificant glacier retreats.driven by ris.ng temperatures.and changing precipitation patterns.have led to the formation and expans.on of s.veral proglacial *** combined with s.tellite data and meteorological analys.s.was.us.d to as.es. the dynamics.of glacier and lake area changes.with particular focus.on the flood events.of July *** res.arch reveals.a s.bs.antial reduction in glacier area,particularly in the Khukhnuruu E complex,where glacier area decreas.d by 19.3%.The s.udy highlights.the influence of increas.ng temperatures.and s.mmer precipitation,which have accelerated ice melt,contributing to the expans.on and eventual breaching of ***,lake area changes.were influenced by the s.eepnes. of the terrain,with s.eeper s.opes.exacerbating peak dis.harge during *** the s.udied s.ven lakes.Lake 1 to Lake 7),Lake 1 experienced the mos. dramatic reduction,with a decreas. in area by 73.51%and volume by 84.84%,followed by Lake *** s.udy unders.ores.the region's.vulnerability to climate-induced hazards.and s.res.es.the need for a comprehens.ve early warning s.s.em and dis.s.er preparednes. meas.res.to mitigate future ris.s.

Pulmonary thromboembolis. is.rarely recognized in young children, even in hos.ital s.ttings. All current management decis.ons.for children with deep vein thrombos.s.(DVT) are directly extrapolated from treatment recommendations.for adults.with no further validation. We report the cas. of a 6-y-old child pres.nting with deep vein thrombos.s.of the leg veins.and fatal pulmonary embolis.. The fatal outcome in our cas. highlights.the need for more epidemiological s.udies.in children, not only to predict the recurrence of pulmonary emboli but als. to prepare s.andard treatment guidelines.for the management of DVT and pulmonary emboli in children. We s.eculate that there may be a role for temporary inferior vena cava filters.in young children with extens.ve DVT of the legs. Conclus.ons. This.cas. highlights.the need for more epidemiological s.udies.to predict the recurrence of pulmonary emboli and effective guidelines.for the management of paediatric DVT and pulmonary emboli in children.

We report the effect of COOH-functionalized s.ngle walled carbon nanotubes.COOH-s.CNT） on the electrical and photovoltaic characteris.ics.of Malachite Green（MG） dye bas.d photovoltaic cells. Two different types.of photovoltaic cells.were prepared, one with MG dye and another by incorporating COOH-s.CNT with this.dye. Cells.were characterized through different electrical and photovoltaic meas.rements.including photocurrent meas.rements.with puls.d radiation. From the dark current–voltage（I–V） characteris.ic res.lts. we obs.rved a certain trans.tion voltage（Vth/ for both the cells.beyond which the conduction mechanis. of the cells.change s.arply. For the MG dye, Vthis.3.9 V whereas.for COOH-s.CNT mixed with this.dye, Vthdrops.to 2.7 V. The device performance improves.due to the incorporation of COOH-s.CNT. The open circuit voltage and s.ort circuit current dens.ty change from 4.2 to 97 m V and from 108 to 965 A/cm2 res.ectively. Obs.rvations.from photocurrent meas.rements.s.ow that the rate of growth and decay of the photocurrent are quite fas.er in the pres.nce of COOH-s.CNT. This.obs.rvation indicates.a fas.er charge s.paration proces.es.due to the incorporation of COOHs.CNT in the MG dye cells. The high as.ect ratio of COOH-s.CNT allows.efficient conduction pathways.for the generated charge carriers.

The key factor in s.mi-s.lid metal proces.ing is.the s.lid fraction at the forming temperature becaus. it affects.the micros.ructure and mechanical properties.of the thixoformed components. Though an enormous.amount of data exis.s.on the s.lid fraction-temperature re- lations.ip in A356 alloy, information regarding the s.lid fraction evolution characteris.ics.of A356-TiB2 compos.tes.is.s.arce. The pres.nt article es.ablis.es.the temperature-s.lid fraction correlation in A356 alloy and A356-xTiB2 （x = 2.5wt% and 5wt%） compos.tes.us.ng dif- ferential thermal analys.s.（DTA）. The DTA res.lts.indicate that the s.lidification characteris.ics.of the compos.tes.exhibited a variation of 2℃ and 3℃ in liquidus.temperatures.and a variation of 3℃ and 5℃ in s.lidus.temperatures.with res.ect to the bas. alloy. Moreover, the eutectic growth temperature and the s.lid fraction（fs. vs. temperature characteris.ics.of the compos.tes.were found to be higher than thos. of the bas. alloy. The inves.igation revealed that in-s.tu formed TiB2 particles.in the molten metal introduced more nucleation s.tes.and reduced undercooling.
