Introduction: Rhabdomyosarcoma accounts for up to 60% of childhood soft tissue sarcoma, occurring mostly in the head and neck region but rarely in the ear and temporal areas. Case Report: A 4-year-old boy came to our hospital due to a purulent discharge, bleeding from his left ear. Also seen mass in the left ear along with facial weakness and diplopia. After histopathologic evaluation, it was diagnosed as embryonal rhabdomyosarcoma. Conclusion: Rhabdomyosarcoma should be kept in mind as a differential diagnosis in all children presenting with otitis media with mastoiditis. Biopsy should be considered who are not responding to medications and those worsening condition.

Introduction: Unilateral nasal mass can be benign or malignant. Very rarely we will find benign salivary gland tumor in nasal cavity. Pleomorphic adenoma is still the most common pathological variety either in major or minor salivary gland tumors. In the nasal cavity, even though most of the accessory salivary glands are present in the lateral wall of nose, nasal septum remains the most common site of origin. Case Report: A 40-year-old female presented with right-sided nasal obstruction and epistaxis. CT scan of Nose and Paranasal sinuses found a lesion involving the anterior third of the right nasal cavity. The patient underwent complete surgical resection of the tumor via an endonasal approach. Histological examination found a mixed cellular component (epithelial and myoepithelial) and mesenchymatous tissue with chondromyxoid stroma, enabling diagnosis of a typical pleomorphic adenoma. Conclusion: Pleomorphic adenoma is the most common salivary gland tumor but rare to find in the nasal cavity with only few cases reported in the literature. Although benign, the risk of local recurrence, malignant transformation and metastasis requires close long-term follow-up.

Electrochemical studies of the effect of hydrodynamic conditions on corrosion inhibition of Cu-Ni （90/10） alloy in synthetic seawater and sulphide containing synthetic seawater by 1,2,3-benzotriazole （BTAH） are presented. Impedance, potentiodynamic polarization and cyclic voltammetric （CV） studies are employed in the present investigation. The studies are carried out by using Cu-Ni （90/10） alloy rotating disc electrode at different rotation speeds and at different immersion periods. Reynolds numbers at each rotation speed infer that the flow of seawater is laminar. With increasing rotation speed of the electrode immersed in seawater without sulphide and BTAH, both the charge transfer resistance （Rot） and film resistance （Rf^lm） are increased. However, in the presence of sulphide ions and without BTAH, both the Rot and Rf,m are found to decrease with increasing rotation speed at identical immersion periods. Interestingly, when BTAH is added to seawater or seawater containing sulphide, both the Rot and Rf,m are increased to such a great extent that an inhibition efficiency of 99.99% is obtained. In the presence of BTAH, the phase angle Bode plots are more broadened and the maximum values of phase angle are increased to a value close to 90~ as the rotation speed is increased. The BTAH film is highly protective even under hydrodynamic condition also. Potentiodynamic polarization studies infer that BTAH functions as a mixed inhibitor under hydrodynamic conditions also. CV studies reveal that the protective BTAH film is stable even at anodic potentials of ＋850 mV vs Ag/AgCI.

Co0.7Me0.3Fe2O4 (Me = Zn, Ni and Mn) were synthesized through co-precipitation method. Cationic distribution for these ferrites was proposed on the basis of magnetization measurements and available occupancy of the substituent ions into the spinel lattice. Theoretical lattice constant calculations confirm the proposed cationic distributions were the correct ones.

Fourth order differential equations are considered to develop the class of methods for the numerical solution of boundary value problems. In this paper, we have discussed the regions of absolute stability of fourth order boundary value problems. Methods proposed and derived in this paper are applied to solve a fourth-order boundary value problem. Numerical results are given to illustrate the efficiency of our methods and compared with exact solution.
