Computer vision(CV)-based techniques have been widely used in the field of structural health monitoring(SHM)owing to ease of installation and cost-effectiveness for displacement *** paper introduces computer vision based method for robust displacement measurement under occlusion by incorporating random sample consensus(RANSAC).The proposed method uses the Kanade-Lucas-Tomasi(KLT)tracker to extract feature points for tracking,and these feature points are filtered through RANSAC to remove points that are noisy or *** the filtered feature points,the proposed method incorporates Kalman filter to estimate acceleration from velocity and displacement extracted by the *** validation,numerical simulation and experimental validation are *** the simulation,performance of the proposed RANSAC filtering was validated to extract correct displacement out of group of displacements that includes dummy displacement with noise or *** the experiment,both RANSAC filtering and acceleration measurement were validated by partially occluding the target for tracking attached on the *** results demonstrated that the proposed method successfully measures displacement and estimates acceleration as compared to a reference displacement sensor and accelerometer,even under occluded conditions.

Electrochemical N_(2) reduction reaction(eNRR) over Cu-based catalysts suffers from an intrinsically low activity of Cu for activation of stable N_(2) molecules and the limited supply of N_(2) to the catalyst due to its low solubility in aqueous ***,we propose phosphorus-activated Cu electrocatalysts to generate electron-deficient Cu sites on the catalyst surface to promote the adsorption of N_(2) *** eNRR system is further modified using a gas diffusion electrode(GDE) coated with polytetrafluoroethylene(PTFE) to form an effective three-phase boundary of liquid water-gas N_(2)-solid catalyst to facilitate easy access of N_(2) to the catalytic *** a result,the new catalyst in the flow-type cell records a Faradaic efficiency of 13.15% and an NH_(3) production rate of 7.69 μg h^(-1) cm^(-2) at-0.2 V_(RHE),which represent 3.56 and 59.2 times increases from those obtained with a pristine Cu electrode in a typical electrolytic *** work represents a successful demonstration of dual modification strategies;catalyst modification and N_(2) supplying system engineering,and the results would provide a useful platform for further developments of electrocatalysts and reaction systems.

AIM: To evaluate the full-spectrum endoscopy(FUSE) colonoscopy system as the first report on the utility thereof in a Korean ***: We explored the efficacy of the FUSE colonoscopy in a retrospective, single-center feasibility study performed between February 1 and July 20, 2015. A total of 262 subjects(age range: 22-80) underwent the FUSE colonoscopy for colorectal cancer screening, polyp surveillance, or diagnostic evaluation. The cecal intubation success rate, the polyp detection rate(PDR), the adenoma detection rate(ADR), and the diverticulum detection rate(DDR), were calculated. Also, the success rates of therapeutic interventions were evaluated with biopsy ***: All patients completed the study and the success rates of cecal and terminal ileal intubation were 100% with the FUSE colonoscope; we found 313 polyps in 142 patients and 173 adenomas in 95. The overall PDR, ADR and DDR were 54.2%, 36.3%, and 25.2%, respectively, and were higher in males, and increased with age. The endoscopists and nurses involved considered that the full-spectrum colonoscope improved navigation and orientation within the *** colonoscopy was aborted because of colonoscope ***: The FUSE colonoscopy yielded a higher PDR, ADR, DDR than did traditional colonoscopy, without therapeutic failure or complications, showing feasible, effective, and safe in this first Korean trial.

OBJECTIVE: To quantitatively evaluate the therapeutic effects of Red Liriope platyphylla(RLP) on atopic dermatitis(AD), alterations in the luciferase(Luc) signal and general phenotype biomarkers were compared in phthalic anhydride(PA) treated Interleukin-4(IL-4)/Luc/Consensus non-coding sequence-1(CNS-1) transgenic(Tg) mice following treatment with aqueous extract of RLP(AEt RLP) for4 ***: Alterations in AD phenotypes were measured in IL-4/Luc/CNS-1 Tg mice following treatment with AEt RLP using inflammation parameter analysis, bioluminescence imaging analysis, histological analysis, reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction, enzyme linked immunosorbent assay and Western blot ***: RLP contained high concentrations of total phenolic compounds, total flavonoid compounds and 5-HNE related to AD therapy. The Luc signal was only detected in the abdominal region and the submandibular lymph node(SL), mesenteric lymph node(ML), thymus and pancreas of the PA treated group. This signal was significantly decreased by 28%-73% throughout the body and in the four organs in PA + AEt RLP treated group. Furthermore, the lymph node weight, immunoglobulin E concentration and dermal thickness were decreased by 37%-67% in the PA + AEt RLP treated ***: Our findings suggest that the therapeutic effect of AEt RLP on PA induced AD could be successfully quantified by comparison of Luc signals and AD phenotype markers in IL-4/Luc/CNS-1Tg mice, and that the Luc signal was as sensitive as the general AD phenotypes, enabling detection of effects without euthanasia.

AIM: To present a simple colonoscopy reporting system that can be checked easily the detection rate of colon ***: A simple colonoscopy reporting system Kosin Gastroenterology(KG quality reporting system) was developed. The polyp detection rate(PDR),adenoma detection rate(ADR),serrated polyp detection rate(SDR),and advanced adenoma detection rate(AADR) are easily calculated to use this ***: In our gastroenterology center,the PDR,ADR,SDR,and AADR test results from each gastroenterologist were updated,every month. Between June 2014,when the program was started,and December 2014,the overall PDR and ADR in our center were 62.5% and 41.4%,respectively. And the overall SDR and AADR were 7.5% and 12.1%,***: We envision that KG quality reporting system can be applied to develop a comprehensive system to check colon polyp detection rates in other gastroenterology centers.

BACKGROUND Paragonimiasis is a food-borne parasitic infection caused by lung flukes of the genus Paragonimus. Although the most common site of infection is the pleuropulmonary area, the parasite can also reach other parts of the body on its journey from the intestines to the lungs, ending up in locations such as the brain,abdomen, skin, and subcutaneous tissues. Ectopic paragonimiasis is difficult to diagnose due to the rarity of this *** SUMMARY Here, we report a rare case of simultaneous breast and pulmonary paragonimiasis in a woman presenting painless breast mass and lung nodule with a history of eating raw trout. To confirm the diagnosis, serologic testing and tissue confirmation of the breast mass were performed. Clinical course of sub-centimeter-sized nodules detected during surveillance for hepatocellular carcinoma

AIM: To evaluate the outcome of sub-centimeter-sized nodules (SCSNs) detected during surveillance for hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) in patients at risk. METHODS: We retrospectively analyzed a total of 142 patients with liver cirrhosis or chronic hepatitis B or C without a prior history of HCC in whom a SCSN was detected during HCC surveillance. We calculated the rate of HCC development from SCSNs in the study population and analyzed the differences in the baseline clinical characteristics and imaging features between the patients with SCSNs that eventually developed into HCC and patients with SCSNs that did not develop into ***: During 667 person-years of follow-up, HCC developed in 33 patients. The calculated HCC development rate was 4.9% per year. The cumulative one-, two-, three- and five-year HCC development rates were 5.6%, 10.6%, 14.1% and 20.4%, respectively. Upon baseline comparison, the HCC group was older (54.4 ± 8.3 years vs 48.9 ± 9.4 years; P = 0.003) and had lower albumin levels (3.56 ± 0.58 g/dL vs 3.84 ± 0.55 g/dL; P = 0.012) and higher baseline alpha-fetoprotein (AFP) levels (8.5 ng/mL vs 5.4 ng/mL; P = 0.035) compared to the non-HCC group. Nodule pattern and initial radiologic diagnosis also differed between the two groups. Multivariate analysis revealed that age [P = 0.012, odds ratio (OR) =1.075, 95% confidence interval (CI) =1.016-1.137], sex (P = 0.009, OR = 3.969, 95% CI: 1.403-11.226), and baseline AFP level (P = 0.024, OR = 1.039, 95% CI: 1.005-1.073) were independent risk factors for developing HCC. CONCLUSION: The overall risk of HCC development in patients with SCSNs is similar to that in liver cirrhosis patients. Patients with these risk factors need to be closely monitored during follow-up.

BACKGROUND The clinical trend and characteristics of peptic ulcer disease(PUD)have not fully been investigated in the past *** To evaluate the ch.nging trends and characteristics of PUD according to age and METHODS We analyzed seven hospital databases converted into the Observational Medical Outcomes Partnership-Common Data Model between 2010 and *** classified patients with PUD who underwent rapid urease tests or Helicobacter pylori(***)serology into three groups:***-related,drug[nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs(NSAIDs)or aspirin]-related,and idiopathic(***/NSAID/aspirin-negative)PUD and compared the yearly trends and characteristics among the three *** We included 26785 patients in 7 databases,and the proportion of old age(≥65 years)was 38.8%.The overall number of PUD exhibited no decrease,whereas PUD in old age revealed an increasing trend(P=0.01 for trend).Of the 19601 patients,41.8%had ***-related,36.1%had drug-related,and 22.1%had idiopathic *** PUD exhibited a decreasing trend after 2014(P=0.01),drug-related PUD demonstrated an increasing trend(P=0.04),and idiopathic PUD showed an increasing trend in the old-age group(P=0.01)during 10 *** with drug-related PUD had significantly more comorbidities and concomitant ulcerogenic *** idiopathic PUD group had a significantly higher number of patients with chronic liver *** With the aging population increase,the effects of concomitant ulcerogenic drugs and preventive strategies should be investigated in drug-induced *** studies are required to clarify the relationship between idiopathic PUD and chronic liver disease.
