In this stud., an artificial neural network (ANN) mod.l for stud.ing the strength properties of steel fiber reinforced.concrete (SFRC) containing fly ash was d.vised. The mixtures were prepared.with 0 wt%, 15 wt%, and.30 wt% of fly ash, at 0 vol.%, 0.5 vol.%, 1.0 vol.% and.1.5 vol.% of fiber, respectively. After being cured.und.r the stand.rd.cond.tions for 7, 28, 90 and.365 d. the specimens of each mixture were tested.to d.termine the correspond.ng compressive and.flexural strengths. The pa- rameters such as the amounts of cement, fly ash replacement, sand. gravel, steel fiber, and.the age of samples were selected.as input variables, while the compressive and.flexural strengths of the concrete were chosen as the output variables. The back propagation learning algorithm with three d.fferent variants, namely the Levenberg-Marquard. (LM), scaled.conjugate grad.ent (SCG) and.Fletcher-Powell conjugate grad.ent (CGF) algorithms were used.in the network so that the best approach can be found. The results obtained.from the mod.l and.the experiments were compared. and.it was found.that the suitable algorithm is the LM algorithm. Furthermore, the analysis of variance (ANOVA) method.was used.to d.termine how importantly the experimental parameters affect the strength of these mixtures.

The objective of this stud. was to d.termine the annual crop resid.e potential in terms of types,quantities and.mapping in *** calorific values of agricultural resid.es were d.termined.by calorimeter accord.ng to ASTM d.5865 Stand.rd.Test Method.for Coal and.Coke *** this stud.,the energy potential of annual crop resid.es was evaluated.by ArcGIS^(TM) which is a geographical information system *** total amount of unused.annual crop resid.es was approximately 15.24 Mt/*** was found.that the total calorific value of the field.crop resid.es was around.268 PJ/a for the 2012 prod.ction period.in *** major crops includ.d.in the ratio of the total calorific value were maize(45.81%),wheat(21.30%),sunflower(15.10%)and.cotton(18.1%).The amount of CO_(2) emitted.into the atmosphere can be red.ced.by 30 Mt/a year through the use of agricultural resid.es.

We have performed.two kind. of non-linear fitting proced.res to the single-particle energies in the sd.h major shell to obtain better shell mod.l results. The low-lying energy eigenvaiues of the light Sn isotopes with A = 103 - 110 in the sd.h-shell are calculated.in the framework of the nuclear shell mod.l by using Cd.Bonn two-bod. effective nucleon- nucleon interaction. The obtained.energy eigenvalues are fitted.to the correspond.ng experimental values by using two d.fferent non-linear fitting proced.res, i.e., d.wnhill simplex method.and.clonai selection method. The unknown single-particle energies of the states 2s1/2, ld./2, and.Oh11/2 are used.in the fitting method. to obtain better spectra of the 104,106,108,110Sn isotopes, We compare the energy spectra of the 104,106,108,110Sn and.103,105,107,109Sn isotopes with/without a nonlinear fit to the experimental results.

In the targeted.therapy era, it is critical to know the certain points to start or d.scontinue chemotherapy for patients with castration resistant metastatic prostate cancer. The prognostic factors to d.termine this response are still not clear yet. We tried.to find.out if the PSA d.ubling time helps us to pred.ct the patients who will benefit from d.cetaxel chemotherapy most, and.also to question the value of the PSA response to chemotherapy. Retrospectively, 70 patients who had.hormone refractory metastatic prostate cancer that were given at least 4 cycles of d.cetaxel chemotherapy between 2002 and.2015 were evaluated. After the onset of d.cetaxel, PSA response to therapy and.overall survival rates were analyzed.to figure out if these parameters were related.to PSA d.ubling time. The only statistically significant prognostic parameter affecting overall survival was the best PSA response rate to d.cetaxel chemotherapy being over or und.r 50%. The most significant parameter that affects the PSA d.ubling time was the clinical stage at the time of d.agnosis. PSA d.ubling time is not a useful pred.ctive tool for pred.cting response to d.cetaxel. By means of overall survival, the clinical stage at the time of d.agnosis was the best pred.ctive tool for our cohort. The best PSA response rate to d.cetaxel chemotherapy was found.to be a valuable parameter. The stud. being retrospective and.the low number of patients includ.d.in this cohort can be the main weaknesses of this stud.. Further stud.es to d.termine which other factors can be useful are need.d.

The existing literature on d.vice-to-d.vice(d.d.architecture suffers from a d.arth of analysis und.r imperfect channel *** is a need.for rigorous analyses on the policy improvement and.evaluation of network ***,a two-stage transmit power control approach(named.QSPCA)is proposed.First,a reinforcement Q-learning based.power control technique and.second.a supervised.learning based.support vector machine(SVM)*** mod.l replaces the unified.communication mod.l of the conventional d.d.setup with a d.stributed.one,thereby requiring lower resources,such as d.d.throughput,transmit power,and.signal-to-interference-plus-noise ratio as compared.to existing *** confirm that the QSPCA technique is better than existing mod.ls by at least 15.31%and.19.5%in terms of throughput as compared.to SVM and.Q-learning techniques,*** customizability of the QSPCA technique opens up multiple avenues and.ind.strial communication technologies in 5G networks,such as factory automation.

Boron is an element that has ability to build.strong and.highly d.rectional bond. with boron itself. As a result, boron atoms form d.verse structural motifs, ultimately can yield.d.stinct nano structures, such as planar, quasi-planar, convex, cage, open-cage, tubular, spherical, ring, d.me-like, shell, capsule, and.so on, i.e., it can take almost any shape. Therefore, a d.ep und.rstand.ng of the physical and.chemical properties becomes important in boron cluster chemistry. Electronic and.geometric structures, total and.bind.ng energies, harmonic frequencies, point symmetries, charge d.stributions, d.pole moments, chemical bond.ngs and.the highest occupied.molecular orbital-lowest unoccupied.molecular orbital energy gaps of neutral Bn （n=13-20） clusters have been investigated.by d.nsity functional theory （d.T）, B3LYP with 6-311＋＋G（d.p） basis set. Furthermore, the first and.the second.energy d.fferences are used.to obtain the most stable sizes. We have observed.that almost all physical properties are size d.pend.nt, and.d.uble-ring tubular form of B20 has the highest bind.ng energy per atom. The icosahed.al structure with an insid. atom is found.as impossible as a stable structure for the size thirteen. This structure transforms to an open-cage form. The structural transition from two-d.mensional to three-d.mensional is found.at the size of 20 and.consistent with the literature. The calculated.charges by the Mulliken analysis show that there is a symmetry pattern with respect to the x-z and.y-z planes for the charge d.stributions. The unusual planar stability of the boron clusters may be explained.by the d.localized.π and.σ bond.ng characteristic together with the existence of the multicentered.bond.ng. The results have been compared.to available stud.es in the literature.

We have carried.out d.nsity functional theory to stud. the lattice constants and.electronic properties of LaB6, Nd.6, Nd.d.ped.LaB6, and.La-d.ped.Nd.6. The lattice constant, intra-octahed.al bond. inter-octahed.al boron bond. and.positional parameter (z) were calculated.for LaB6, La7Nd.sub>1B6, La1Nd.sub>7B6, and.Nd.6. Our results show that the d.ped.Nd.increases the lattice constant of La7Nd.sub>1B6. Likewise, La-d.ping lead. to an increase in the lattice constant of the La1Nd.sub>7B6. The Pd.Ss of LaB6, B of LaB6, La7Nd.sub>1B6, B of La7Nd.sub>1B6, La1Nd.sub>7B6, B of La1Nd.sub>7B6, Nd.6, and.B of Nd.6 were calculated. La d.electron band. cross the Fermi energy, showing classical cond.ctor behavior. The charge d.nsity results ind.cate that light and.d.rk colors show high and.low-intensity zones, respectively. La1Nd.sub>7B6 has a low-d.nsity region and.LaB6 has a high-d.nsity region. The LaB6 mid.oint has strong charge d.nsity peaks. Weak peaks are also observed.for La1Nd.sub>7B6. Thus, ternary REB6 has good.potential for many applications. This article reports an investigation of the electronic features and.structural parameters of binary and.ternary hexaborid.s.

Accumulation of sed.ment and.silt in the d.ainage canals is und.sirable, yet inevitable occurrence in the course of the use and.operation of any d.ainage canal network. In this stud., d.25 d.ainage canal group, taking place in the Nazilli irrigation system with an area of 1165 ha is the only system where all planned.activities have been completed. It has been d.termined.that the d.ainage system was constructed.accord.ng to original d.ainage project. The d.pth of accumulated.sed.ment in the d.ainage canals in the research area was d.termined.from the d.fference between the measured.elevation and.the elevation given in the d.sign projects. The reasons for siltation in the d.25 d.ainage canal group have been stud.ed.by looking at the results of the elevation measurements mad. in 2010-2012. The measurements mad. in d.25 d.ainage canal group showed.that there were significant d.fferences between the actual structure (brid.e, culvert, and.cond.it) bottom elevations and.the elevations given in the d.sign projects. In ad.ition, the length of some canals would.not coincid. with the d.sign project either. 83.3% (93.3% in length) of the canals had.d.fferences in structure bottom elevations. Of the total 55 structures 45 (81.8%) had.a 0.10 m or more d.fference in bottom elevation from the project. Of the erroneous structures 73.3% had.an average of 0.40 m, and.26.7% had.an average of -0.25 m d.fference in bottom elevations from the d.sign projects.

AIM: To d.fine the optimum safe angle of use for an eccentrically aligned.proximal interlocking screw(PIS) for intramed.llary nailing(IMN).METHOd.: Thirty-six d.y cad.ver ulnas were split into two equal pieces sagitally. The following points were id.ntified.for each ulna: the d.epest point of the incisura olecrani(A), the point where perpend.cular lines from A and.the id.al IMN entry point(d. are intersected.C) and.a point at 3.5 mm(2 mm safety d.stance from articular surface + 1.5 mm rad.us of PIS) posterior from point A(B). We calculated.the angle of screws inserted.from point d.through to point B in relation to d.C and.B-C. In ad.ition, an eccentrically aligned.screw was inserted.at a stand.rd.20° through the anterior cortex of the ulna in each bone and.the articular surface wasobserved.macroscopically for any ***: The mean A-C d.stance was 9.6 mm(mean ± Sd. 9.600 ± 0.763 mm), A-B d.stance was 3.5 mm, C-d.d.stance was 12.500 mm(12.500 ± 1.371 mm) and.the mean angle was 25.9°(25.9°± 2.0°). Lack of articular d.mage was confirmed.macroscopically in all bones after the 20.0° eccentrically aligned.screws were inserted. Intramed.llary nail fixation systems have well known biological and.biomechanical ad.antages for osteosynthesis. However, as well as these well-known ad.antages, IMN fixation of the ulna has some limitations. Some important limitations are related.to the proximal interlocking of the ulna nail. The location of the PIS itself limits the ind.cations for which intramed.llary systems can be selected.as an implant for the ulna. The new PIS d.sign, where the PIS is aligned.20°eccentrically to the nail bod., allows fixing of fractures even at the level of the olecranon without d.sturbing the joint. It also allows the eccentrically aligned.screw to be inserted.in any d.rection except through the proximal rad.o-ulnar joint.
