Theoretical research on gas seepage in the formations surrounding bedded gas storage salt cavern

When constructing salt cavern gas or petroleum storage in lacustrine sedimentary salt formations rich in mudstone interlayers, the influence of the sealing performance of interlayers and salt-mud interface on the storage tightness should be considered adequately. In order to reveal the gas seepage in deep formations surrounding bedded salt cavern underground storage, a leakage analysis model was established based on the characteristics of a low dip angle and the interbedded structure of bedded rock salt. The gas seepage governing equations for one-dimensional and plane radial flow were derived and solved. A gas seepage simulation experiment was conducted to demonstrate the accuracy and reliability of the theoretical calculation results. The error of the seepage range was approximately 6.70%, which is acceptable. The analysis and calculation results indicate that the motion equation of gas in deep formations satisfies a non-Darcy's law with a threshold pressure gradient and slippage effect. The sufficient condition for the gas flow to stop is that the pressure gradient is equal to the threshold pressure *** relationship between the leakage range and operating time is a positive power function, that is, the leakage range gradually increases with time and eventually stabilizes. As the seepage range increases, the seepage pressure decreases sharply during the early stage, and then decreases gradually until the flow *** the research results with engineering applications, three quantitative evaluation indexes named the maximum admissible leakage range, leakage volume and leakage rate are proposed for the tightness evaluation of gas storage salt cavern during their operating stage. These indexes can be used directly in actual engineering applications and can be compared with the key design parameters stipulated in the relevant specifications. Spodoptera frugiperda,the pest fall armyworm(FAW),is widespread in more than 100 *** date,planting insectresistant transgenic crops is one of the main control methods in its native *** this study we evaluated Bt-transgenic maize(Bt maize)and non-transgenic(conventional)maize and six other host plants in greenhouse pot experiments and field trials for oviposition preference by the Chinese populations of *** laboratory trials,female moths preferred to oviposit on maize with no significant preference between conventional and Bt ***,after conventional and transgenic maize were exposed to FAW larvae and damaged,oviposition was significantly higher on transgenic maize than on the conventional *** trials showed that for plants less damaged at an early stage(seedling stage),oviposition of FAW on transgenic and conventional maize was significantly higher than that on wheat,sorghum,foxtail millet,peanut and soybean while showing no significant difference between transgenic or conventional *** adults mainly laid eggs on Bt maize,while the larval density and leaf damage rating or percentage of damaged plants were significantly lower than on conventional *** density and its damage on conventional maize were significantly higher than that on Bt maize and the other five ***,maize is a highly preferred and suitable host for *** feeding and ovipositing,and Bt maize can be used as trap crop to protect other crops.

Different from the mobile robots finding the shortest path mostly based on the distance in the past,an optimal path selection problem based on energy consumption assessment of different terrain surfaces is proposed in this paper,which is transformed into finding the shortest path problem in an undirected weighted graph on the basis of constructing a wireless sensor *** undirected weighted graph is constructed in this paper,in which nodes are made up of sensor nodes and the weight value of each edge is the ratio of the energy consumed by the robot moving between the two *** landmark embedding mechanism is introduced to the graph,and energy-minimal path selection algorithm（EMPSA） is designed,which can realize the optimal path selection based on the energy consumption assessment in the case of meeting robot system *** experiment is carried out from two aspects,one is the system running time and the other is the error rate of the energy consumption *** experimental data show that with increase of the number of reference nodes,the running time shows the trend of decreasing at first and then increasing,and the error rate of the energy consumption assessment is gradually ***,it is necessary to determine the appropriate number of reference nodes,which is the key to guarantee the balance between running time and error *** the randomly generated 60 pairs of starting point and destination point as the test samples,the assessment results calculated by EMPSA is compared with the measured data generated by the robot,and the overall accuracy of the optimal path selection can reach as high as 91%,which shows that the optimal path selection method for mobile robots based on energy consumption assessment proposed in this paper is feasible and effective.

Molecular assembly of recombinant chicken type II collagen in the yeast Pichia pastoris

Effective treatment of rheumatoid arthritis can be mediated by native chicken type II collagen(n CCII), recombinant peptide containing n CCII tolerogenic epitopes(CTEs), or a therapeutic DNA vaccine encoding the full-length CCOL2 A1 c DNA. As recombinant CCII(r CCII) might avoid potential pathogenic virus contamination during n CCII preparation or chromosomal integration and oncogene activation associated with DNA vaccines, here we evaluated the importance of propeptide and telopeptide domains on r CCII triple helix molecular assembly. We constructed p C-and p N-procollagen(without N-or Cpropeptides, respectively) as well as CTEs located in the triple helical domain lacking both propeptides and telopeptides, and expressed these in yeast Pichia pastoris host strain GS115(his4, Mut+) simultaneously with recombinant chicken prolyl-4-hydroxylase α and β subunits. Both p C-and p N-procollagen monomers accumulated inside P. pastoris cells, whereas CTE was assembled into homotrimers with stable conformation and secreted into the supernatants, suggesting that the large molecular weight p C-or p N-procollagens were retained within the endoplasmic reticulum whereas the smaller CTEs proceeded through the secretory pathway. Furthermore, resulting recombinant chicken type II collagen p Cα1(II) can induce collagen-induced arthritis(CIA) rat model, which seems to be as effective as the current standard n CCII. Notably, protease digestion assays showed that r CCII could assemble in the absence of C-and N-propeptides or telopeptides. These findings provide new insights into the minimal structural requirements for r CCII expression and folding.
