Decellularized natural bladder matrices(neobladders)represent an exciting means to regenerate the bladder following bladder cancer-associated *** this study,we compare the evolution of decellularized matrices with recellularized matrices by seeding it with human adiposederived mesenchymal stem cells(ADSC)after implantation following partial cystectomy in *** discovered significant anatomical differences since 10 days after neobladder implantation with the ADSC-containing matrices promoting a significant recovery of mature p63-and cytokeratin 7-positive *** also discovered significantly induced expression of the vimentin mesoderm marker in the submucosal layer in ADSC-seeded ***,we found a higher expression of smooth muscle actin in transversal and longitudinal smooth muscle layers with ADSC-seeded ***,ADSC also showed increased vascularization and nerve innervation of the neobladder as determined by the distribution of CD31 and S100b reactivity,*** believe that ADSC and their paracrine-acting pro-regenerative secretome within decellularized matrices represent an efficient bladder substitution strategy;however,we require a fuller understanding of the mechanisms involved before clinical studies can begin.

Similar to Nomizu-Pinkall's geometric characterization of the Cayley surface and Hu-Li-Zhang's characterization of the Cayley hypersurface,how can one characterize the generalized Cayley hypersurfaces?In this paper,by the affineα-connection of statistical manifolds,we study affine hypersurfaces with parallel cubic form relative to the affineα-*** the main results,we complete the classification of such hypersurfaces if its affine metric is either definite,or Lorentzian withα≠-***,we give a new characterization of the generalized Cayley hypersurfaces to answer the question.

Mott insulator-density ordered superfluid transition and‘shamrock transition’in a frustrated triangle lattice

Density order is usually a consequence of the competition between long-range and short-range *** we report a density ordered superfluid emergent from a homogeneous Mott insulator due to the competition between frustrations and local *** transition is found in a Bose–Hubbard model on a frustrated triangle lattice with an extra pairing ***,we find a quantum phase transition between two different density ordered superfluids,which is beyond the Landau–Ginzburg(LG)paradigm.A U(1)symmetry is emergent at the critical point,while the symmetry in each density ordered superfluid is Z_(2)×Z_(3).We call the transition a‘shamrock transition’,due to its degenerate ground state in the parameter space being a shamrock-like curve rather than a circle in an LG-type *** low energy theories are established for the two transitions mentioned above and we find their resemblance and differences with clock models.

Reproductive patterns in Araucaria araucana forests in the Andean range, Chile

Background Araucaria araucana is a mast species that presents a high variability in annual cone production. Researchers have recorded synchronization events in cone production in different populations, which allows the seed production to be concentrated, reducing the percentage of seeds consumed by different animal *** We sampled three populations located in the Andes Mountains, Araucanía Region, Chile. In 2004 we began the collection of data on cone production, for which we installed permanent plots（1200 m2each） at each location. We identified and labeled each female tree in each plot to monitor its cone production. In 2012 we selected a total of 30 trees near the plots to evaluate the number of seeds per cone. In each February from 2012 to 2014 we selected two mature cones and covered them with a porous mesh for subsequent collection and storage in March. At the beginning of June, we counted and weighed the seeds, determining the average weight, the number of seeds per cone, the germination capacity（GC）, and the germination speed（GS）.Results Cone production was synchronous across the three locations. We observed significant differences among the locations and years evaluated. The cones had fewer seeds in 2013（high production） compared to those in 2012（low production）, but their weights were similar. In 2014 the cones produced smaller seeds in fewer quantities. The difference between the years 2013 and 2014 resulted from the high-energy expenditure in 2013. Regarding GC and GS, there were significant differences among the three locations（GC: F = 45.41, p ced in a given year. A most recent exciting research result in the area of solid-state batteries that has been accepted for publication by the journal Nature Energy is *** research designed a new type of inorganic solid electrolyte named“viscoelastic inorganic glass(VIGLAS)”electrolyte with the compositions of LiAlCl_(2.5)O_(0.75)and NaAlCl_(2.5)O_(0.75).The newly developed solid electrolyte material showcases an excep-tional degree of deformability at room temperature,high ionic conductivity(>1 mS/cm at room tem-perature)and high oxidation stability(up to 4.3 V ***^(+)/Li or Na^(+)/Na).Using it as a catholyte enables a facile fabrication and a stable operation under practical stack pressure(ce all-solid-state batteries.

Microstructure evolution and strengthening mechanism of high -performance powder metallurgy TA15 titanium alloy by hot rolling

Hot deformation of sintered billets by powder metallurgy(PM)is an effective preparation technique for titanium alloys,which is more significant for high-alloying *** this study,Ti–6.5Al–2Zr–Mo–V(TA15)titanium alloy plates were prepared by cold press-ing sintering combined with high-temperature hot *** microstructure and mechanical properties under different process paramet-ers were *** microscope,electron backscatter diffraction,and others were applied to characterize the microstructure evolution and mechanical properties strengthening *** results showed that the chemical compositions were uniformly dif-fused without segregation during sintering,and the closing of the matrix craters was accelerated by increasing the sintering *** block was hot rolled at 1200℃ with an 80%reduction under only two passes without *** strength and elongation of the plate at 20–25℃ after solution and aging were 1247 MPa and 14.0%,respectively,which were increased by 24.5%and 40.0%,respect-ively,compared with the as-sintered alloy at 1300℃.The microstructure was significantly refined by continuous dynamic recrystalliza-tion,which was completed by the rotation and dislocation absorption of the substructure surrounded by low-angle grain *** hot rolling combined with heat treatment,the strength and plasticity of PM-TA15 were significantly improved,which resulted from the dense,uniform,and fine recrystallization structure and the synergistic effect of multiple slip systems.

Effects of crop residues for animal consumption and soil enhancement on the electricity generation potential of residues:A case study of Sawla-Tuna-Kalba district,Ghana

Many studies have estimated the potential of crop residues for energy generation globally and recognized its great potential,especially in rural areas where on-grid electricity is ***,crop residues have other equally important uses as animal feed and as mulch for soil enhancement,especially in rural farming ***,most of the known studies have neglected the estimation of the quantity of crop residues that will be required for feeding animals and also for the enhancement of soil through mulching in their energy potential estimation from crop *** these two important uses can lead to the over-exploitation of the residues for energy generation at the expense of conservation agriculture practices as well as depriving animals of quality feed which can lead to low crop yield and animal production,with the ability to cause hunger and *** study has assessed the potential of electricity generation from agricultural residues in the Sawla-Tuna-Kalba district of Ghana using gasification technology,taking cognizance of the proportion of residues needed for animal consumption and soil *** results of the study indicate that out of the 207646.22 t of residues that can be generated from maize,yam,cassava,millet,sorghum,and groundnut,26830.36 t(representing 13%)will be required by sheep,goats,and cows for consumption,and 13936.17 t(representing 7%)will be required for mulching soils where the crops are ***,it was found that a total of 592.17 MW∙h of electricity can be generated from crop residues without animal consumption and soil enhancement needs,while 461.89 MW∙h could be generated from the residues,considering animal feed and soil *** study has indicated that it is not enough to consider soil enhancement and animal feeding in agricultural biomass power generation through recovery factors without the exact quantification of residues required for these purposes since this can lead to a vi

Low rank optimization for efficient deep learning:making a balance between compact architecture and fast training

Deep neural networks(DNNs)have achieved great success in many data processing ***,high computational complexity and storage cost make deep learning difficult to be used on resource-constrained devices,and it is not environmental-friendly with much power *** this paper,we focus on low-rank optimization for efficient deep learning *** the space domain,DNNs are compressed by low rank approximation of the network parameters,which directly reduces the storage requirement with a smaller number of network *** the time domain,the network parameters can be trained in a few subspaces,which enables efficient training for fast *** model compression in the spatial domain is summarized into three categories as pre-train,pre-set,and compression-aware methods,*** a series of integrable techniques discussed,such as sparse pruning,quantization,and entropy coding,we can ensemble them in an integration framework with lower computational complexity and *** addition to summary of recent technical advances,we have two findings for motivating future *** is that the effective rank,derived from the Shannon entropy of the normalized singular values,outperforms other conventional sparse measures such as the?_1 norm for network *** other is a spatial and temporal balance for tensorized neural *** accelerating the training of tensorized neural networks,it is crucial to leverage redundancy for both model compression and subspace training.
