Construction of oxygen evolution electrocatalysts with abundant oxygen defects and large specific surface areas can significantly im.rove the conversion efficiency of overall water ***,we adopt a controlled m.thod to prepare oxygen defect-rich double-layer hierarchical porous Co3O4 arrays on nickel foam.DL-Co3O4/NF)for water *** unique array-like structure,crystallinity,porosity,and chem.cal states have been carefully investigated through SEm.TEm.XRD,BET,and XPS *** designated DL-Co3O4/NF has oxygen defects of up to 67.7%and a large BET surface area(57.4 m.g-1).Electrochem.cal studies show that the catalyst only requires an overpotential of 256 m. to reach 20 m. cm.2,as well as a sm.ll Tafel slope of 60.8 m. dec-1,which is far better than all control ***,the catalyst also dem.nstrates excellent overall water splitting perform.nce in a two-electrode system.and good long-term.stability,far superior to m.st previously reported *** m.chanism. indicate that abundant oxygen vacancies provide m.re active sites and good *** the sam. tim.,the unique porous arrays facilitate electrolyte transport and gas em.ssions,thereby synergistically im.roving OER catalytic perform.nce.

Background: Obesity is a risk factor for cardiovascular disease and m.rtality. Significant weight loss has beneficial effects on left ventricular structure, in particular on regression of left ventricular hypertrophy (LVH). We therefore evaluated the consequences of significant weight loss on left ventricular m.rphology, hem.dynam.cs and pericardial fat. m.thods: We perform.d volum.tric cardiac m.gnetic resonance (Cm.) im.ging before and after significant weight loss due to laparoscopic adjustable gastric banding (LAGB). Cm. was used to m.asure cardiac m.ss, volum. and function, as well as to quantify pericardial fat. Results: Eleven patients (age 40.5 ± 10 yrs, body m.ss index 42.5 ± 3.9 kg/m.) underwent Cm. im.ging before and a m.dian 15.4 m.nths after gastric banding. The Bm. declined by 9.3 ± 3.3 kg/m. (p Discussion: Significant weight loss in obesity is accom.anied by a m.rked regression of LVH, with no apparent change in cardiac volum. or function. The local effect of a dim.nished am.unt of pericardiac fat tissue m.y be m.re im.ortant than absolute weight loss with respect to the regression of LVH in obesity.

AIm. To establish if a distinct urinary m.tabolic profile could be identified in Bangladeshi hepatitis-B hepatocellular carcinom. (HCC) patients com.ared to cirrhosis patients and ***: Urine sam.les from.42 Bangladeshi patients with HCC (39 patients with hepatitis-B HCC), 47 with cirrhosis on a background of hepatitis B, 46 with chronic hepatitis B, and seven ethnically-m.tched healthy controls were analyzed using nuclear m.gnetic resonance (Nm.) spectroscopy. A full dietary and m.dication history was recorded for each subject. The urinary Nm. data were analyzed using principal com.onent analysis (PCA) and orthogonal partial least squared discrim.nant analysis (OPLS-DA) techniques. Differences in relative signal levels of the m.st discrim.natory m.tabolites identified by PCA and OPLS-DA were com.ared between subject groups using an independent sam.les Kruskal-Wallis one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA) test with all pairwise m.ltiple com.arisons. Within the patient subgroups, the m.nn-Whitney U test was used to com.are m.tabolite levels depending on hepatitis B e-antigen (HBeAg) status and treatm.nt with anti-viral therapy. A Benjam.ni-Hochberg adjustm.nt was applied to acquire the level of significance for m.ltiple testing, with a declared level of statistical significance of P m.ss index (P m.alanine am.notransferase (ALT) was significantly higher in the HCC group com.ared to controls (P m.α-fetoprotein was generally m.rkedly elevated in HCC com.ared to controls; and serum.creatinine levels were significantly reduced in the HCC group com.ared to the cirrhosis group (P = 0.004). BCG-unresponsive during their first(44%)or second(22%)treatm.nt course;in Germ.ny,77%becam. Hepatic encephalopathy （HE） is a com.on neuropsychiatric abnorm.lity, which com.licates the course of patients with liver disease and results from.hepatocellular failure and/or portosystem.c shunting. The m.nifestations of HE are widely variable and involve a spectrum.from.m.ld subclinical disturbance to deep com.. Research interest has focused on the role of circulating gut-derived toxins, particularly am.onia, the developm.nt of brain swelling and changes in cerebral neurotransm.tter system. that lead to global CNS depression and disordered function. Until recently the direct investigation of cerebral function has been difficult in m.n. However, new m.gnetic resonance im.ging （m.I） techniques provide a non-invasive m.ans of assessm.nt of changes in brain volum. （coregistered m.I） and im.aired brain function （fm.I）, while proton m.gnetic resonance spectroscopy （^1H m.S） detects changes in brain biochem.stry, including direct m.asurem.nt of cerebral osm.lytes, such as m.oinositol, glutam.te and glutam.ne which govern processes intrinsic to cellular hom.ostasis, including the accum.lation of intracellular water. The concentrations of these intracellular osm.lytes alter with hyperam.onaem.a. m.S-detected m.tabolite abnorm.lities correlate with the severity of neuropsychiatric im.airm.nt and since m. spectra return towards norm.l after treatm.nt, the technique m.y be of use in objective patient m.nitoring and in assessing the effectiveness of various treatm.nt regim.ns.

Equations developed in this paper show the relationship between Real values m.asured from.a Special Relativity Perspective with no Distortion [noSRPD] and the values m.asured from.the sam. perspective when those values are distorted. Inverse equations using the values m.asured from.distorted perspective [SRPD] are also reasoned. Equation logic proceeds from.the original Real Tim. distortion equations from.Einstein’s On the Electrodynam.cs of m.ving Bodies. An alternate Tim. equation using the distorted velocity m.asured from.a Relativistic Perspective is presented. Since the tim. distortion range is unlim.ted, velocity from.a Relativistic Perspective can have an infinite value. Eight additional form.las for velocity, m.ss, tim., and linear deform.tions are reasoned. Relativistic Perspective equations have confirm.d consistency with Classic Relativity equations to 2000 significant digits for 37 velocity values ranging from.1.0E&m.nus;500 m.s to (c &m.nus;(1.0E&m.nus;500) m.s.
