Desilication accompanied with minimum loss of crystallinity effect of a high alumina ZSM-5 zeolite on the isomerization reaction of ethylbenzene/xylene mixtures has been *** was assessed through XRF,XRD,FTIR,TEM,nitrogen adsorption/desorption,NH_3-TPD,^(29)Si and^(27)Al MAS NMR analytical *** was accompanied with the creation of super acid *** exists a limit(Si/Al molar ratio of9.67)for keeping high crystallinity and obtaining improved catalytic *** promotes ethylbenzene conversion by disproportionation and trans-alkylation reactions while the same reactions are limited for the xylene *** p-xylene approach to equilibrium improves by more than 7% at 400℃ and a WHSV of 2 h^(-1)for the optimum sample with respect to the parent *** the same conditions,the optimum sample exhibits the maximum ethylbenzene conversion of 89%,*** than 40%*** the parent ***,the xylene yield decreases only 3%.

Watershed disturbances caused by land use/land cover(LU/LC) change, intensive forestry practices, and other forms of watershed disturbance are known to negatively affect water quality, if best management practices(BMPs) are not present. Disturbances near or around headwaters where BMPs are absent or are inadequate may impact downstream water quality and stream ecology regardless of the presence of downstream BMPs. In this study, the recovery of two small forest-dominated watersheds(Ww and Ew) in Auburn, Alabama, USA, was monitored 6-years after a partial clearcut was done. The streamside management zone(SMZ) in Ww was also partially harvested shortly after the partial clearcut to improve its sediment trapping effectiveness over the long-term. The hydrology and sediment transport in these watersheds were expected to stabilize over this period, however, new disturbances in the headwaters of both watersheds changed the watershed dynamics. Streamflow and sediment load were examined over a15-month period from February 2014 to May 2015. The clearcut in Ww and Ew, and the partially harvested SMZ in Ww seemed to have recovered; however, substantial amount of sediment load were measured across all monitoring sites in both watersheds as a result of upstream disturbances. This study emphasizes the necessity of watershed management as a whole, and the importance of BMP applications within the entire watershed. It also highlights the fact that watershed management and BMP implementation is a dynamic process, thus, strategies and techniques need to be continuously adapted in response to environmental changes.

Introduction Acute liver failure(ALF)is an uncommon disease in pediatric *** includes infections,autoimmune diseases,inborn errors of metabolism,and *** disorders account for 25%of resolved ***,the etiology remains unknown in half of pediatric ALF[1].The recognition of molecular etiopathogenesis has been facilitated after the common use of next-generation sequencing ***,biallelic variants in neuroblastoma-amplified sequence(NBAS),Leucyl-tRNA synthetase 1(LARS1),and RAD50-interacting protein(RINT1)were identified in recurrent ALF(RALF)[2–4].

Corporate governance is designed to stimulate the investment environment and to create a stable financial situation in the capital markets by increasing the level of reliability,transparency,and accountability at the firm *** study aims to examine whether corporate governance leads to higher quality financial *** research has been performed using companies listed on Borsastanbul(BIST).For this purpose,two samples from the publicly held companies on BIST,which are included in the Corporate Governance Index and which are not included in this index,have been ***,we examined whether there is any difference between the financial reporting quality of the companies listed in Borsastanbul Corporate Governance Index and the financial reporting quality of the enterprises that are not included in this *** the quality of financial reporting is a multi-dimensional concept,it can be evaluated by different measurement methods focusing on different dimensions in the *** of these approaches used to measure the quality of financial reporting is the quality of *** evaluation of the financial reporting quality of the enterprises included in the BIST Corporate Governance Index and the enterprises not included in the index were evaluated through different methods to compare two different samples in the context of the earnings quality *** data analysis was used to evaluate the financial reporting quality of the two samples by means of earnings quality *** data related to the models used in the assessment of financial reporting quality were obtained from the Public Disclosure Platform(KAP)and Equity RT *** research covers 72 enterprises,36 of which are in the Corporate Governance Index and 36 of which are not in the Corporate Governance Index.

The functional fruit and vegetable honeys were produced by the natural bee feeding method with pomegranate,orange and black carrot *** natural enrichment method did not cause any negative effects on the quality criteria questioned in the standards such as moisture,pH,free acidity and HMF(Hydroxymethylfurfuraldehyde)content and the quality of the functional honeys obtained was *** to TPC contents,the antioxidant values of the honeys were increased 5.00-31.50,16.09-53.96 and 21.18-39.72%by enrichment of orange,pomegranate,and black carrot *** acid in pomegranate honey(14.52%)and chlorogenic acid in black carrot honey(27.01%)were determined as antioxidant components increased by *** enrichment process also led to an increase in the bioaccessibility *** increased antioxidant activity of functional honeys(DPPH)was verified by a high negative correlation value(R=􀀀0.9103)and decreasing IC50 ratios in the opposite direction.

Interictal brain energy metabolism and glutamate-glutamine cyclingare impaire d in epilepsy and may contribute to seizure generation. We used the zero-flow m icrodialysis method to measure the extracellular levels of glutamate,glutamine, and the major energy substrates glucose and lactate in the epileptogenic and the nonepileptogenic cortex and hippocampus of 38 awake epileptic patients during t he interictal period. Depth electrodes attached to microdialysis probes were use d to identify the epileptogenic and the nonepileptogenic sites. The epileptogeni c hippocampus had surprisingly high basal glutamate levels, low glutamine/glutam ate ratio, high lactate levels, and indication for poor glucose utilization. The epileptogenic cortex had only marginally increased glutamate levels. We propose that interictal energetic deficiency in the epileptogenic hippocampus could con tribute to impaired glutamate reuptake and glutamate-glutamine cycling, resulti ng in persistently increased extracellular glutamate, glial and neuronal toxicit y, increased lactate production together with poor lactate and glucose utilizati on, and ultimately worsening energy metabolism. Our data suggest that a differen t neurometabolic process underlies the neocortical epilepsies.
