The purpose of thi. study i. to analyze whether the maturati.n of spontaneous EEG occurs at the same rate as Late Posi.i.e Component (LPC) maturati.n. To that end, the spontaneous EEG rhythms power spectral densi.y (PSD) and the LPC component i. a group of chi.dren and a group of young adults were obtai.ed and analyzed by means of Spearman’s correlati.n coeffi.i.nts, hi.rarchi.al clusteri.g, Pri.ci.al Component Analysi. (PCA) and topographi.al analysi.. The multi.ari.te analysi. revealed a co-maturati.n of LPC wi.h the delta band. Thi. co-maturati.n was more evi.ent i. the more posteri.r regi.n. The multi.ari.te analysi. results suggest that the maturati.n of the two components i. temporally closely associ.ted. The LPC i. both chi.dren and young adults was produced by a combi.ati.n of i.crease of Event Related Spectral Perturbati.n (ERSP) and phase resetti.g i. the delta band. i. can be suggested that the maturati.ns of delta and LPC are functi.nally i.terdependent due to a possi.le ori.i. of LPC as a delta phase resetti.g and/or because both processes depend on the same fracti.n of synapti. pruni.g.

Thi. work descri.es the synthesi., anti.oci.epti.e and anti.i.flammatory effect of O-prenyl deri.ati.es: O-prenyl deri.ati.es 2-(3-methylbut-2-enyloxy)acetophenone (L1) and 3-methoxy-4-(3-methylbut-2-enyloxy)benzaldehyde (V1). Treatment wi.h L1- or V1-produced anti.oci.epti.e effect on classi.al pai. models: aceti. aci. abdomi.al contorti.ns and formali. test (fi.st and second phases), and i. hot plate or tale fli.k models i. mi.e wi.hout changi.g the locomotors performance, and anti.oedematogeni. or anti.i.flammatory effect i. vi.o: carrageenan-i.duced paw oedema and peri.oni.i. i. mi.e. i. addi.i.n, L1 and V1 deri.ati.es reduced ni.ri. oxi.e producti.n on RAW 264.7 cells sti.ulated wi.h li.opolysacchari.e wi.hout changi.g the cell vi.bi.i.y. Taken together, our results show for the fi.st ti.e that L1 and V1 can produce anti.oci.epti.n and modulate i.flammatory response when admi.i.tered i. mi.e.
