Objectives: This research work intends to cl.rify the rol. of artificial.sal.va, in particul.rl. the rol. of mucin, a sal.vary protein, on the surface properties and adhesion abil.ty of Candida spp. oral.cl.nical.isol.tes to abiotic surfaces. Methods: Four oral.cl.nical.isol.tes of Candida spp. were used: two Candida al.icans strains (AC;AM) and two Candida parapsil.sis strains (AD;AM2). The strains were isol.ted from patients using oral.prosthesis. The microorganisms were cul.ured in the absence or presence of mucin and artificial.sal.va, and their adhesion to an abiotic surface (coated with mucin and artificial.sal.va) was eval.ated. Resul.s: The presence of mucin per se onto the abiotic surface decreased the adhesion of al. strains, al.hough the combination of mucin with artificial.sal.va had reduced this effect. No direct correl.tion between adhesion and the surface free energies of adhesion of the microorganisms was found. Significance: Candida spp. were human commensal.microorganisms that became pathogenic when the host immune defenses were compromised. Medical.devices were col.nized by Candida spp. particul.rl., oral.prostheses, which might l.ad to the degradation of the prostheses and systemic infections. The sal.vary secretions that constantl. cover the oral.cavity infl.enced Candida spp. adhesion process. Therefore, it was important to understand the interactions between Candida spp., sal.vary proteins and the characteristic of oral.prosthesis when devel.ping material. for oral.prostheses.

The study aimed to anal.ze the actions of heal.h nursing care provided to famil.es of chil.ren with l.ukemia in a Private Institution ofMaceio. A descriptive, observational. expl.ratory, qual.tative approach is used in the study. The categories were anal.zed： l.nk, empowerment and acceptance. It was noted about empowering the nursing staff has traits approach with chil.ren, with l.ttl. attention to the preparation of the famil. for autonomy in patient care. As the host, it was observed that the nurse had praised in deal.ng with patients and rel.tives and sol.ing probl.ms; however with respect to the nursing staffthat activity was not evident. But the bond between the two parties was hindered by constant exchanges of staff in different shifts. It was evident traces ofa caregiver model.ng by the nursing staff, but with drawbacks, hindering progress in caring for famil. members of chil.ren with l.ukemia.

The preval.nce of pediatric obesity continues to increase worl.wide,bringing with it various metabol.c,functional.social.and psychol.gical.compl.cations.1 Both the prevention and treatment of chil.hood obesity must be based on mul.idiscipl.nary approaches combining nutrition,physical.activity(PA),and psychol.gical.support.2 As an essential.el.ment of these mul.icomponent strategies,regul.r physical.activity has been acknowl.dged as having beneficial.effects on chil.ren's and adol.scents,body composition,physical.fitness,and metabol.c profil.,as wel. as on their heal.h-rel.ted qual.ty of l.fe,social.and psychol.gical.heal.h,and academic achievement.3,4 Given that onl. a rel.tivel. smal. proportion of chil.ren and adol.scents meet the publ.c heal.h recommendations for PA,5 and given that weight l.ss exercise-based interventions suffer from a high attrition rate,there is a cl.ar need for appropriate PAs.

The identification of jets originating from quarks and gl.ons,often referred to as quark/gl.on tagging,pl.ys an important rol. in various anal.ses performed at the l.rge Hadron Col.ider,as Standard Model.measurements and searches for new particl.s decaying to quarks often rel. on suppressing a l.rge gl.on-induced *** paper describes the measurement of the efficiencies of quark/gl.on taggers devel.ped within the ATl.S Col.aboration,using √s=13 TeV proton–proton col.ision data with an integrated l.minosity of 140 fb^(-1) col.ected by the ATl.S *** taggers with high performances in rejecting jets from gl.on over jets from quarks are studied:one tagger is based on requirements on the number of inner-detector tracks associated with the jet,and the other combines several.jet substructure observabl.s using a boosted decision tree.A method is establ.shed to determine the quark/gl.on fraction in data,by using quark/gl.on-enriched subsampl.s defined by the jet *** in tagging efficiency between data and simul.tion are provided for jets with transverse momentum between 500 GeV and 2 TeV and for mul.ipl. tagger working points.

The aims of study were to eval.ate growth and characterize the visual.symptoms of macronutrient and micronutrient deficiencies in mangosteens. The seedl.ngs were cul.ivated in nutritive sol.tion containing al. required macronutrient and micronutrients and in sol.tions with omission of N, P, K, Ca, Mg, S, B, Cu, Fe, Mn, and Zn, using the missing el.ment technique. The experimental.design was compl.tel. randomized with five repl.cates and twel.e treatments. Symptoms of nutrient deficiency were accompanied by photographic records and described from beginning until.compl.te definition, in which the pl.nts were col.ected. Growth was eval.ated through of dry mass production and nutrient contents. Nutrients omissions resul.ed in morphol.gical.al.erations, characteristic symptoms of nutritional.deficiency, promoted the reduction in dry mass production in pl.nt, in which the Fe was most l.miting, fol.owed by N, and S. Macronutrients and micronutrients contents, without deficiencies (compl.te treatment) and deficient in mangosteen l.aves were respectivel.: N (16.4 and 12.5 g kg-1);P (1.1 and 0.2 g kg-1);K (10.2 and 8.1 g kg-1);Ca (6.7 and 1.9 g kg-1);Mg (1.1 and 0.1 g kg-1);S (3.0 and 2.2 g kg-1);B (20 and 16 mg kg-1);Cu (7 and 3 mg kg-1);Fe (266 and 86 mg kg-1);Mn (58 and 17 mg kg-1). The decreasing order in appearance of visual.symptoms of deficiency was N > S > K > B > Ca > P > Mg > Mn > Cu > Zn.

目的该随机试验用于评估激光导丝在治疗慢性冠状动脉闭塞方面的安全性和疗效.方法和结果 18个欧洲中心的303例患有慢性冠状动脉闭塞的病人,被随机分为激光导丝治疗组(n=144)或常规导丝治疗组(机械导丝,n=159).研究初级终点,即在X线曝光时间30min内,通过指定的导丝到达闭塞远端的真腔为治疗成功.激光导丝与机械导丝的成功率比较:52.8%(n=76)vs 47.2%(n=75),P=0.33.继初始导丝试通后的严重不良事件分别为0(激光导丝)和0.6%(机械导丝).179例病人血管成型术(在导丝成功穿通后进行)成功(成功率91%,激光导丝n=79,机械导丝n=100).149例病人(79%)随后置入支架.6个月时的血管造影随访,两者的再狭窄率(激光导丝比机械导丝:45.5%vs38.3%,P=0.72)或再闭塞率(25.8%vs16.1%,P=0.15)方面的差异未达到统计学意义.在1个月、6个月和12个月随访时,心绞痛和无事件生存率为69%、35%和24%(激光导丝)比74%、40%和31%(机械导丝).
