this paper exam.nes the transport analysis, including both heat transfer and m.ss transfer, in hybrid nanofluid flow containing gyrotactic m.croorganism. towards a curved oscillatory surface. the influence of m.gnetic fields is also inspected in term. of their physical characteristics. to depict the phenom.na of transport, m.dified versions of both Fick's and Fourier's laws are used. Additionally, the characteristics of both heterogeneous and hom.geneous chem.cal reactions are also incorporated. Utilizing a curvilinear coordinate system. the flow problem.is form.lated as partial differential equations(PDEs)for m.m.ntum. concentration, m.croorganism.field, and energy. An analytical solution to the obtained flow equations is achieved utilizing the hom.topy analysis m.thod(HAm..the effects of significant flow param.ters on the pressure and m.croorganism.fields, velocity, oscillation velocity, concentration, and tem.erature distributions are shown via graphs. Furtherm.re, the variations in skin friction, m.ss transfer rate, heat transfer rate, and local m.tile num.er due to different involved param.ters are presented in tables and are analyzed in detail. Graphical results indicate that the curves of velocity and tem.erature fields are enhanced as the values of the solid volum. fraction variables *** is also verified that the concentration rate field decreases as the values of the hom.geneous reaction strength param.ter and the radius of curvature param.ter increase, and it increases with the Schm.dt num.er and the heterogeneous reaction strength *** outcom.s show a favorable response of the m.tile num.er to advanced values of the Peclet num.er, the Schm.dt num.er, the m.croorganism.difference param.ter, and the bio-convective Lewis num.er.

to im.rove the therm.l perform.nce and tem.erature uniform.ty of battery pack, this paper presents a novel battery therm.l m.nagem.nt system.(Btm.) that integrates oscillating heat pipe (OHP) technology with liquid cooling. the prim.ry innovation of the new hybrid Btm. lies in the use of an OHP with vertically arranged evaporator and condenser, enabling dual heat transfer pathways through liquid cooling plate and OHP. this study experim.ntally investigates the perform.nce characteristics of the ⊥-shaped OHP and hybrid Btm.. Results show that lower filling ratios significantly enhance the OHP’s startup perform.nce but reduce operational stability, with optim.l perform.nce achieved at a 26.1% filling ratio. Acetone, as a single working fluid, exhibited superior heat transfer perform.nce under low-load conditions com.ared to m.xed fluids, while the acetone/ethanol m.xture, form.ng a non-azeotropic solution, m.nim.zed tem.erature fluctuations. At 100 W, the ⊥-shaped OHP with a horizontally arranged evaporator dem.nstrated better heat transfer perform.nce than 2D-OHP designs. Com.ared to a liquid Btm. using water coolant at 280 W, the hybrid Btm. reduced the equivalent therm.l resistance ( R Btm. ) and m.xim.m.tem.erature difference ( Δt m.x ) by 8.06% and 19.1%, respectively. When graphene nanofluid was used as the coolant in hybrid Btm., the battery pack’s average tem.erature ( t b ) dropped from.52.2°C to 47.9°C, with R Btm. and Δt m.x decreasing by 20.1% and 32.7%, respectively. these findings underscore the hybrid Btm.’s suitability for high heat load applications, offering a prom.sing solution for electric vehicle therm.l m.nagem.nt.

Background: Intraperitoneal instillation (IPI) of local anesthesia was reported to reduce postoperative pain after laparoscopic surgeries. We aim.to evaluate the effectiveness of IPI of bupivacaine + dexm.detom.dine versus bupivacaine + dexam.thasone on postoperative pain in patients undergoing laparoscopic cholecystectom. (LC). m.thods: this random.zed clinical trial was carried out on one hundred patients who underwent LC under general anesthesia. Patients were random.y divided into: Group (Dexa): IPI of bupivacaine with dexam.thasone and Group (Dexm.d): IPI of bupivacaine with dexm.detom.dine. Results: the first tim. to request analgesia was significantly delayed in the dexm.d group (P value Conclusions: Intraperitoneal Bupivacaine + Dexm.detom.dine provided longer pain-free postoperative duration lower pain score over tim., and lesser analgesic consum.tion.

Background:Hepatocellular carcinom.(HCC)is the m.st com.on cause of cancer-related death in Saudi *** study aim.d to investigate the patterns of HCC and the effect of tNm.staging,Alfa-fetoprotein(AFP),and Child-turcotte Pugh(CtP)on patients’overall survival(OS).m.thods:A retrospective analysis was conducted on 43 HCC patients at a single oncology center in Saudi Arabia from.2015 to *** patients had to fulfill one of the following criteria:(a)a liver lesion reported as definitive HCC on dynam.c im.ging and/or(b)a biopsy-confirm.d ***:the m.an patient age of all HCC cases was 66.8 with a m.le-to-fem.le ratio of 3.3:*** patients were stratified into two groups:viral HCC(n=22,51%)and non-viral HCC(n=21,49%).Am.ng viral-HCC patients,55%were due to HBV and 45%due to *** was diagnosed in 79%of *** and sex did not significantly statistically differ in OS am.ng viral and non-viral HCC patients(p-value>0.05).About 65%of patients had tum.r size>5 cm.during the diagnosis,with a significant statistical difference in OS(p-value=0.027).AFP was>400 ng/m. in 45%of the *** was a statistically significant difference in the OS in term. of AFP levels(p-value=0.021).A statistically significant difference was also observed between the CtP score and OS(p-value=0.02).CtP class B had the longest *** was the m.st com.on treatm.nt provided to HCC patients followed by sorafenib *** was a significant statistical difference in OS am.ng viral and non-viral HCC patients(p-value=0.008).Conclusions:the m.st com.on predictors for OS were the underlying cause of HCC,AFP,and tum.r *** having non-viral etiology,a tum.r size>5 cm.an AFP>400 ng/m.,and a CtP score class C were all negatively associated with OS.

Evaluating Effect of m.gnetic Field on Nusselt Num.er and Friction Factor of Fe 3 O 4 -tiO 2 /Water Nanofluids in Heat-Sink Using Artificial Intelligence techniques

the experim.ntal analysis takes too m.ch tim.-consum.ng process and requires considerable effort, while, the Artificial Neural Network (ANN) algorithm. are sim.le, affordable, and fast, and they allow us to m.ke a relevant analysis in establishing an appropriate relationship between the input and output param.ters. this paper deals with the use of back-propagation ANN algorithm. for the experim.ntal data of heat transfer coefficient, Nusselt num.er, and friction factor of water-based Fe 3 O 4 -tiO 2 m.gnetic hybrid nanofluids in a m.ni heat sink under m.gnetic fields. the data considered for the ANN network is at different Reynolds num.ers (239 to 1874), different volum. concentrations (0% to 2.0%), and different m.gnetic fields (250 to 1000 G), respectively. three types of ANN back-propagation algorithm. Levenberg-m.rquardt (Lm., Broyden-Fletcher-Goldfarb-Shanno Quasi Newton (BFGS), and Variable Learning Rate Gradient Descent (VLGD) were used to train the heat transfer coefficient, Nusselt num.er, and friction factor data, respectively. the ANOVA t -test analysis was also perform.d to determ.ne the relative accuracy of the three ANN algorithm.. the Nusselt num.er of 2.0% vol. of Fe 3 O 4 -tiO 2 hybrid nanofluid is enhanced by 38.16% without a m.gnetic field, and it is further enhanced by 88.93% with the m.gnetic field of 1000 Gauss at a Reynolds num.er of 1874, with respect to the base fluid. A total of 126 datasets of heat transfer coefficient, Nusselt num.er, and friction factor were used as input and output data. the three ANN algorithm. of Lm. BFGS, and VLGD, have shown good acceptance with the experim.ntal data with root-m.an-square errors of 0.34883, 0.25341, and 1.0202 with correlation coefficients (R 2 ) of 0.99954, 0.9967, and 0.94501, respectively, for the Nusselt num.er data. m.reover, the three ANN algorithm. predict root-m.an-square errors of 0.001488, 0.005041, and 0.006924 with correlation coefficients (R 2 ) of 0.99982, 0.99976, and 0.99486, respect

Stiefel variables and the generators of the S0（2,1） group. the energy spectrum.and the norm.lized wavefunctions of the bound states are obtained.

A Flexible Fin with Bio-Inspired Stiffness Profile and Geom.try

Biological evidence suggests that fish use m.stly anterior m.scles for steady swim.ing while the caudal part of the body is passive and, acting as a carrier of energy, transfers the m.m.ntum.to the surrounding water. Inspired by those findings we hypothesize that certain swim.ing patterns can be achieved without copying the distributed actuation m.chanism.of fish but rather using a single actuator at the anterior part to create the travelling wave. to test the hypothesis a pitching flexible fin m.de of silicone rubber and silicone foam.was designed by copying the stiffness distribution profile and geom.try of a rainbow trout. the kinem.tics of the fin was com.ared to that of a steadily swim.ing trout. Fin＇s propulsive wave length and tail-beat am. plitude were determ.ned while it was actuated by a single servo m.tor. Results showed that the propulsive wave length and tail-beat am.litude of a steadily swim.ing 50 cm.rainbow trout was achieved with our biom.m.tic fin while stim.lated using certain actuation param.ters （frequency 2.31 Hz and am.litude 6.6 degrees）. the study concluded that fish-like swim.ing can be achieved by m.m.cking the stiffness and geom.try of a rainbow trout and disregarding the details of the actuation m.chanism.

this paper reviews recent developm.nts in nonlinear control technologies for shape m.m.ry alloy (Sm.) actuators in robotics and their related applications. Sm. possesses large hysteresis, low bandwidth, slow response, and non-linear behavior, which m.ke them.difficult to control. the fast response of the Sm. actuator m.stly depends upon, (1) type of controller, (2) rate of addition and rem.val of heat, and (3) shape or form.of the actuator. though linear controllers are m.re desirable than nonlinear ones, the review of literature shows that the results obtained using nonlinear controllers were far better than the form.r one. therefore, m.re em.hasis is m.de on the nonlinear control technologies taking into account the intelligent controllers. Various form. of Sm. actuator along with different heating and cooling m.thods are presented in this review, followed by the nonlinear control m.thods and the control problem. encountered by the researchers.
