Theoretical Study of Anomalous Forces Externally Induced by Superconductors

In this work we present a theoretical explanation for the possible anomalous forces induced by superconducting disks and toroids, based on the hypothesis of a preexisting state of generalized quantum entanglement that can produce momentum variation exchanged between Cooper pairs and outer particles. Considering the immense amount of particles involved in the phenomenon as coherent Cooper pairs, and indications of previous studies, we use classical quantities as macroscopic observables in our calculations. We here analyzed the behavior of such superconductors and compared the experimental results early obtained in the literature with our theoretical proposal. We found that the theoretical calculations agreed with very good accuracy for two different experiments and devices. The present work really highlights the possibility of superconducting materials to be applied to induce outer forces in the environment and in external objects, as explained by our theoretical model.

The present paper has mainly the aim to formulate a quantum neurological model of brain dynamics during perception and cognition of ambiguous figures here including the case of the Dalmatian dog. First of all, we summarize our previous experimental and theoretical studies, evidencing as the basic conceptual foundations of quantum mechanics enter in a decisive manner in explaining the basic functions of brain dynamics at perceptive and cognitive level and at the level of our consciousness. This is done in detail in Sections 2 and 3 where we discuss also the role of the so called quantum interference effect and we include here the results of an our recent experiment confirming the role of quantum theory and of its quantum interference effect also at perceptive-cognitive and awareness levels. In Section 4, following our previous study, we consider the so called Mach-Zehnder interferometer. It is a physical device that is employed in quantum mechanical experiments in order to analyze such quantum interference effect. Soon after the discussion of this device, we proceed with the elaboration of a detailed quantum neurological model in the sense that we consider the brain regions identified in V1;V2/V3/V4 and A20 and we obtain that they may behave just as the beam splitters involved in the Mach-Zehnder quantum mechanical interferometer. In this manner, we formulate a model of V1;V2/V3/V4, A20 brain dynamics as a Mach-Zehnder interferometer and such model delineates a proposed neurological mechanism explaining perception-cognition and awareness in humans under the input of ambiguous figures and in the particular case of the Dalmatian dog.

Induction of Forces at Distance Performed by Piezoelectric Materials

We describe the phenomenon of generation of an external field of forces from piezoelectric materials subjected to the application of electric fields or mechanical stress. We show that piezoelectric materials are capable of producing nonlocal forces of induction in external objects and we conclude that the nature of the forces generated is not originated from traditional interactions. Further we specifically assert that the generation of forces by the piezoelectric materials is ruled by the hypothesis of preexisting condition of generalized quantum entanglement between the molecular structure of the material bulk and the surrounding environment. In addition, the widely spread coupling of the molecules with the environment can be manifested from the so-called direct effect or the converse effect in piezoelectric materials and this coupling is not intermediated by acoustic waves or electromagnetic fields. We show that the novel effect has a theoretical explanation consistent with the generalized quantum entanglement framework and the direction of the induced forces depends on either the direction of the mechanical force or the electric field applied in these materials.

The paper develops a methodology for the optimal sizing of a generic wind farms, focusing primarily on reliability aspects, besides the traditional economic ones. A specific objective function is proposed in order to select the better wind farm configuration, based upon the profits related to the economic trading in the deregulated electric market and the costs due to investment, operation ＆ management, and to system unavailability. This objective function is accurately investigated as a function of the turbines number in order to derive the most convenient alternative, which implies also the optimal choice of the single wind generators size. The ranking coming out from this assessment is then compared with that one established in terms of expected load not supplied. A compromise choice, between the best alternatives provided by the two criteria has finally adopted. A simple numerical application is reported in the last part of the paper for testing the validity of the proposed approach. Also uncertainty aspects in the basic input parameters are taken into account and possible way of dealing with them is briefly illustrated.

We have applied the Random Matrix Theory in order to examine the validity of the NPT treatment in HSP. We have investigated the pathology examining the sEMG recorded signal for about eight minutes. We have performed standard electromyographic investigations as well as we have applied the RMT method of analysis. We have investigated the sEMG signals before and after the NPT treatment. The application of a so robust method as the RMT evidences that the NPT treatment was able to induce a net improvement of the disease respect to the pathological status before NPT.

Nickel borides doped with transition metal (Cr, Mn, Fe, Co, Cu, and Zn) MNiB, 4% w/w respect to Ni were prepared by chemical reduction of nickel and metallic salts in methanol solution with borane-tetrahydrofurane (BH3-THF) complex obtained in aprotic solvent (THF anhydrous). Different techniques were used to characterize these materials. The MNiB amorphous structure was verified by XRD. Thermal treatment in N2 shows Ni°, Ni2 Band NiO phases. Spongy-morphology was evident by SEM studies in all cases. XPS and TEM show that doped and non-doped nickel boride was present as Ni° in metallic state as principal phase and nickel alloying with boron was observed in minor quantities. The oxidation stability, magnetic susceptibility and catalytic effect are correlated with parameters of each dopant metal.

水分和氮素（N）对作物生长和产量至关重要,是植物生产力的两个主要限制因素。目前尚不清楚不同生长阶段施氮（N）比例如何影响不同水分状况下的作物产量、水分利用效率（WUE）和养分吸收。因此,本论文的研究目的是探究不同水分状况和生长阶段施氮比例对植物生长、叶片气体交换、植物水分关系、产量、WUE和氮吸收的影响。针对这些研究目的,第一个试验设置两个水分水平和施氮比例（整个生育时期90%和60%土壤持水量的水分水平,在番茄植株的营养和生殖生长阶段分别施氮肥的30%和70%或30%和70%）。根据第一个试验的结果,在第二个试验中设置5个处理,包括营养生长阶段施氮比例为30%的两个土壤水分处理和生殖生长阶段施氮比例为70%或35%的两个土壤水分处理,以探索在生殖生长阶段是否可以进一步减少施氮量,两种土壤水分处理分别为土壤持水量的60%和90%。研究得到的主要结果如下:（1）在不同施氮比例处理中,土壤水分亏缺显著降低了33.0%的叶片生长和生物量,同时叶片气孔导度显著下降,使耗水量显著下降41.0%。因此,与充分供水的处理相比,植物WUE显著增加了13.0%。此外,土壤水分亏缺使番茄产量下降39.3%,而营养生长期施氮30%处理较该生育阶段施氮70%处理显着提高番茄产量32.9%。这主要是由于光合产物显著转移到果实造成的。水分亏缺下植物对N的吸收量显着降低了37.5%,在营养生长阶段施氮30%处理较该生育阶段施氮70%处理显着提高了9.0%的N积累量。因此,为了提高番茄产量和氮素吸收,建议在番茄生育前期降低施氮量比例。（2）W60N30W90N70处理的叶片生长最快,这使该处理具有更大的光合面积和固碳能力,从而提高生物量和番茄产量,这说明良好的土壤水分条件和氮素供应对生殖生长阶段叶片生长至关重要。营养生长阶段水分供给降低不会影响果实产量,但是可以显著降低耗水量,从而显著提高了植物水平的WUE。当我们比较W60N30W90N70和W90N30W90N35处理时,生殖生长阶段的高N比例对于果实产量的形成非常重要。此外,生殖生长阶段的高N比例增加了N的积累量,但仅充分供水条件下,W60N30W90N70处理的N积累量最高。W60N30W60N70处理的结果表明,除了充足的N供应外,土壤水分对果实产量和N吸收至关重要,尽管N供应在生殖生长期有所增加。在生殖生长阶段充足的水分供应提高了光合作用和气孔导度,但是降低了W90处理的WUE。然而,两个关键生长阶段的水分亏缺（W60）降低了叶片气体交换,但是改善了WUE,因为与光合作用的减少相比,气孔导度的降低更多。W60N30W90N70和W90N30W90N35处理光合作用和气孔导度的改善与活性叶片数密切相关,其中较大的叶面积有助于增强蒸腾作用。因此,N和水都是直接影响植物这些过程的重要因素。研究结果表明,在番茄生殖生长阶段应该保持90%土壤持水量水平和高氮施用比例。

Hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)is the most frequent liver neoplasm,and its incidence rates are constantly *** the availability of potentially curative treatments(liver transplantation,surgical resection,thermal ablation),long-term outcomes are affected by a high recurrence rate(up to 70%of cases 5 years after treatment).HCC recurrence within 2 years of treatment is defined as“early”and is generally caused by the occult intrahepatic spread of the primary neoplasm and related to the tumor burden.A recurrence that occurs after 2 years of treatment is defined as“late”and is related to de novo HCC,independent of the primary *** HCC recurrence has a significantly poorer prognosis and outcome than late *** pathogenesis corresponds to different predictors of the risk of early or late *** adequate knowledge of predictive factors and recurrence risk stratification guides the therapeutic strategy and post-treatment *** at high risk of HCC recurrence should be referred to treatments with the lowest recurrence rate and when standardized to combined or adjuvant therapy *** review aimed to expose the recurrence predictors and examine the differences between predictors of early and late recurrence.

Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) is the main tumor of the liver and is the sixth most frequently diagnosed tumor in the world. It is the evolution of chronic hepatic injury secondary to different etiologies. Chronic hepatitis B virus and hepatitis C virus infection, chronic alcoholic hepatitis, as well as non-alcoholic fatty liver disease are the most common causes behind the development of HCC. The introduction of effective prophylaxis and treatment against hepatitis B, the recent use of highly effective hepatitis C treatments, as well as lifestyle changes observed in recent decades in the general population causing an increase in obesity and metabolic syndrome have led to significant epidemiological change in HCC in relation to the changed etiologic prevalence of liver injury. Increasing evidence was emerging, emphasizing how the development of HCC is a complex and multifactorial process. The knowledge of the molecular mechanisms involved is important for the understanding of the basic factors of the development of hepatocarcinogenesis and of possible therapeutic approaches. Several pathogenic mechanisms and clinical expression of HCC occur in relation to the different etiologies of the underlying liver disease. The different clinical behavior of HCC often makes diagnosis difficult at an early stage, that is necessary for an effective therapeutic approach. This review analyzes the possible different pathogenic mechanisms involved in the development of HCC and emphasizes the different epidemiological and clinical aspects of HCC observed in the most common forms of liver diseases of viral and non-viral origin.
