When organophosphate pesticides(OPs)are not used and handled in accordance with the current rules and standards,it results in serious threats to the aquatic environment and human *** tricornutum is a prospective microalgae-based system for pollutant removal and carbon *** engineered ***,designated as the OE line(endogenously expressing purple acid phosphatase 1[PAP1]),can utilize organic phosphorus for cellular ***,the competencies and mechanisms of the microalgae-based system(namely the OE line of ***)for metabolizing OPs remain to be *** this study,the OE line exhibited the effective biodegradation competencies of 72.12%and 68.2%for 30 mg L^(-1)of dichlorvos and 50 mg L^(-1)of glyphosate,accompanied by synergistic accumulations of biomass(0.91 and 0.95 g L^(-1))and lipids(32.71%and 32.08%),***,the biodiesel properties of the lipids from the OE line manifested a high potential as an alternative feedstock for microalgae-based biofuel production.A plausible mechanism of OPs biodegraded by overexpressed PAP1 is that sufficient inorganic P for adenosine triphosphate and concurrent carbon flux for the reduced form of nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide phosphate biosynthesis,which improved the OP tolerance and biodegradation competencies by regulating the antioxidant system,delaying programmed cell death and accumulating lipids via the upregulation of related *** sum up,this study demonstrates a potential strategy using a genetically engineered strain of *** to remove high concentrations of OPs with the simultaneous production of biomass and biofuels,which might provide novel insights for microalgae-based pollutant biodegradation.

Heavy snow disruptions are common and costly occurrences in the UK,including ***,heavy snow remains an underresearched aspect of disaster risks in *** study critically examined the 2018 heavy snow event in Scotland referred to as the“Beast from the East”(BfE)in order to explore the different sources of information used by the public in preparation for and response to heavy snow *** study also examined the effectiveness of BfE risk communication between authorities and the public and sought to determine if there is a relationship between risk information received and the intention to mitigate *** were collected through a semistructured survey from(n=180)residents of the Annandale and Eskdale region of Dumfries and galloway,*** analysis shows that public authority information sources were the most sought-after information sources,followed by online and web *** found statistically significant differences between groups(such as age,gender,and mobility/disability)in terms of using risk information *** analysis shows that the relationship between information received and the intention to mitigate risks is not linear but influenced by intervening variables such as work pressures,financial commitment,and stakeholders’*** argue that where full adherence to official risk advice is required,policymakers should carefully consider issues around these three factors.

This article revisits the links between psychopathology and functional gastrointestinal disorders such as irritable bowel syndrome （IBS）, discusses the rational use of antidepressants as well as non-pharmacological approaches to the management of IBS, and suggests guidelines for the treatment of IBS based on an interdisciplinary perspective from the present state of knowledge. Relevant published literature on psychiatric disorders, especially somatization disorder, in the context of [BS, and literature providing direction for management is reviewed, and new directions are provided from findings in the literature. IBS is a heterogeneous syndrome with various potential mechanisms responsible for its clinical presentations. IBS is typically complicated with psychiatric issues, unexplained symptoms, and functional syndromes in other organ systems. Most IBS patients have multiple complaints without demonstrated cause, and that these symptoms can involve systems other than the intestine, e.g. bones and joints （fibromyalgia, temporomandibular joint syndrome）, heart （non-cardiac chest pain）, vascular （post-menopausal syndrome）, and brain （anxiety, depression）. Host IBS patients do not have psychiatric illness per se, but a range of psychoform （psychological complaints in the absence of psychiatric disorder） symptoms that accompany their somatoform （physical symptoms in the absence of medical disorder） complaints. It is not correct to label IBS patients as psychiatric patients （except those more difficult patients with true somatization disorder）. One mode of treatment is unlikely to be universally effective or to resolve most symptoms. The techniques of psychotherapy or cognitive-behavioral therapy can allow IBS patients to cope more readily with their illness. Specific episodes of depressive or anxiety disorders can be managed as appropriate for those conditions. Medications designed to improve anxiety or depression are not uniformly useful for psychiatric complaints in IB

OBJECTIVE:To investigate the effect of acupressure on postpartum low back pain(LBP),salivary cortisol,physical limitations,and postpartum ***:Participants were 70 postpartum women who were randomly assigned to either an intervention(n=35)or a control(n=35)*** intervention group received 10 acupressure sessions(1 session per day,5 d per week).The control group received 10 sham acupressure *** were assessed using a visual analogue scale(LBP intensity),salivary cortisol values(LBP biomarker),and Chinese versions of the Roland-Morris Disability Questionnaire(daily activity limitations),Oswes-try Disability Index(physical activity limitations),and the Edinburgh Postnatal Depression Scale(postpartum depression).RESULTS:Participants in the intervention group had significantly lower levels of LBP intensity,daily activity limitations,physical activity limitations,and postpartum depression than those in the control *** was no significant between-group difference in salivary ***:Acupressure may reduce postpartum LBP intensity and limitations in daily and physical activity,and alleviate postpartum depressive *** should be offered in postpartum care settings as an alternative treatment for postpartum women with LBP.
