Dance and School Age Children’s Psycho-Motor Development: The Oseretzky-Guilmain Test

The importance of the relationship between the integration of sensory inputs and motor actions has given rise to large number of researches that have demonstrated how it is a necessary function not only for good academic performance but also for a proper development of the organizational *** ability of sensory-motor integration is today recognized a central role in the integral formation of the subject(Viviani,Stucchi 1992).The Italian National Guidelines for the curriculum of primary school of 2012 require the achievement of motor skills related to balance and motor coordination as one of the goals for skill development at the end of primary school,measurable through a different use of evaluation *** the several motor assessment tests recognised by the international scientific community,the Oseretzky-Guilmain test could be considered among evaluation tools for the possible detection of the psychomotor age,referring in detail to three categories such as:“balancing”on one leg;“staying”with your eyes closed on your toes and“jumping”on one *** Salerno research group conducted a field research involving a sample of 320 children,aged 6-8,whose only the half part practicing sport(dance),who were given Oseretzky-Guilmain tests represents a valid instruments of assessing the general coordination and balance and their constitutive *** aim of the research has highlighted the importance of an use of motor evaluation assessment in the primary school that is required to bring out potentialities and plurality of limits of each pupil,which are essential for effective customized teaching planning of educational *** has been shown that children practicing sport-dance in our study case,pass the above tests easier than those ones not doing any physical exercises.

The Psychomotor Practice at the Kindergarten: The MOVIT Tests as a Tool of Observation and Design

The contribution aims to highlight the role that corporeity assumes at the kindergarten,both as an instrument of individual’s integral growth,as a useful means for detecting any difficulties and identification of the Zone of Development Proximal of each,to facilitate the design of training courses focusing on the use of the body and movement as mediators of *** whole work moves in the double perspective of individualization and personalization,as suggested by the different school regulations in the field of design and special educational *** Research involved a sample of 83 children,to whom were given MOVIT Tests(Test and Re-test):a psychomotor evaluation tool that favors an objective observation of abilities,the child’s deficits and potential development observed in his environment and in free interaction with his *** research has highlighted a significance of the data for all age groups,corroborating theories about the formative and preventive role of psychomotor practice and about the effectiveness of flanking the latter with a preventive tool,adjacent to it,such as the MOVIT *** have also allowed a transversal process of professionalization of teachers.

Motor Tests in Primary and Secondary School: Exploring Basic Motor Skills in Children

The foundations for an adult’s authentic and durable dedication in sport or in any kind of motor activity are laid by providing a good quality physical *** means that the choice of learning experiences to be imparted to the child throughout his or her school curriculum,starting from kindergarten,is important and must be not only planned,inclusive and progressive but also,in some way,*** other words,lessons must respond to the children’s needs in order to enhance their motor skills and abilities and their social skills and to give an input on how to lead a physically active life,thus keeping basic motor skills *** research involved the administration of the Mobak 5-6 Test on a convenience sample of 31 children(f=12,m=19),aged 10-12 years,in order to analyse the basic motor skills of a group of young *** individual qualitative and quantitative motor repertoire must therefore be built,allowing the child to be able to take the opportunities offered to him or her in both curricular and extracurricular scholastic *** motor skills,with which the child is provided,will also be useful for cultivating correct physical activity habits in later life and must be formed through systematic evaluation of the development of his or her motor skills.

Writing between Graphic Spaces and Lived Spaces-Coordinative and Deficit Aspects in the Dysgraphic Child: Praxeological Suggestions

This study is aimed at providing a reflection on the meanings of the child’s body in developmental age in the spaces that coexist in his learning environment,which translate into the ability of the same to coordinate his own motor action in codified spaces,which are spaces vital or the space outlined on the sheet of a *** motor and fine coordination form the basis of a long and sophisticated learning process of skills such as writing,an activity that is preparatory for the duration of the entire learning process from a long-life-learning *** is primarily a motor action,which is completed and coordinated thanks to the motor prediction of purposeful movements,but also implies the production of associations of graphemes that have a conventionally shared *** these graph-motor skills are not acquired according to the age of development,this could give rise to a possible diagnosis of dysgraphia which results in the obvious difficulties of creating a writing that is legible and *** disorder could be traced back to the inability to fully and simultaneously dispose of the visual-perceptive,exploratory and spatial coordination faculties both of the whole body and of the individual structures of the eye,hand and upper limb that cooperate the visual-kinetic functions of the graphic act.

Preventing of Early School Leaving: Sport as Protective Factor
