Univocal identification of retinal ganglion cells(RGCs) is an essential prerequisite for studying their degeneration and neuroprotection. Before the advent of phenotypic m.rkers, RGCs were norm.lly identified using retrograde tracing of retinorecipient areas. This is an invasive technique, and its use is precluded in higher m.m.als such as m.nkeys. In the past decade, several RGC m.rkers have been described. Here, we reviewed and analyzed the specificity of nine m.rkers used to identify all or m.st RGCs, i.e., pan-RGC m.rkers, in rats, m.ce, and m.caques. The best m.rkers in the three species in term. of specificity, proportion of RGCs labeled, and indicators of viability were BRN3A, expressed by vision-form.ng RGCs, and RBPm., expressed by vision-and non-vision-form.ng RGCs. NEUN, often used to identify RGCs, was expressed by non-RGCs in the ganglion cell layer, and therefore was not RGC-specific. γ-sYN, TUJ1, and NF-L labeled the RGC axons, which im.aired the detection of their som.s in the central retina but would be good for studying RGC m.rphology. In rats, TUJ1 and NF-L were also expressed by non-RGCs. Bm.8, ERRβ,and PGP9.5 are rarely used as m.rkers, but they identified m.st RGCs in the rats and m.caques and ERRβ in m.ce. However, PGP9.5 was also expressed by non-RGCs in rats and m.caques and Bm.8 and ERRβ were not suitable m.rkers of viability.

In the peper, two approaches to enhance the com.utational accuracy and predictive capacity for current three-dim.nsional m.delling of the response of shallow coastal waters to tropical cyclones have been analysed. Along the second approach, the m.sh generation details of finite elem.nt m.thods for a com.lex dom.in with both the coastline and the path of landfall cyclone Orson in the Australian North West shelf has been presented. The generated triangular elem.nt m.sh could be taken as either the m.in m.sh for depth-averaged m.delling or the m.sh of sea-surface elevation for three-dim.nsional m.delling of the ocean response to the tropic cyclone.

Piwi-interacting RNAs(piRNAs of 26-32 nt in length)regulate gene expression,epigenetics,and transcriptional and post-transcriptional processes.1 In hum.ns,piRNAs are expressed in germ.ine and som.tic tissues,and generally have a uracil at the 5'-end(position+1),an adenine at the+10 position,and are 2'-0 m.thylated at the 3'-end.2 Onice piRNAs form.the RNA-induced silencing com.lex(RIsC)with PIWl proteins,they serve as guides to find their com.lem.ntary sequences of the target m.NA,thus initiating their *** Wuhan patient's genom. is approxim.tely 265 nucleotides(nts)in its 3'-UTR;piRNAs-like sequences have been reported in this region.3 Our objective was to search,through bioinform.tics,for m.NA sequences that were hom.logous to the reverse com.lem.ntary of the previously reported piRNA-like sequences from.the 3'-UTR of sARs-Cov-2,3 and identify the possible interaction between them.

This paper analyzes the network of passes am.ng the players of the spanish team.during the last FIFA World Cup 2010,where they em.rged as the cham.ion,with the objective of explaining the results obtained from.the behavior at the com.lex network *** team.is considered a network with players as nodes and passes as(directed) edges.A tem.oral analysis of the resulting passes network is also done,looking at the num.er of passes,length of the chain of passes,and to network m.asures such as player centrality and clustering *** of the last three m.tches(the decisive ones) indicate that the clustering coefficient of the pass network rem.ins high,indicating the elaborate style of the spanish *** effectiveness of the opposing team.in negating the spanish gam. is reflected in the change of several network m.asures over tim.,m.st im.ortantly in drops of the clustering coefficient and passing length/speed,as well as in their being able in rem.ving the m.st talented players from.the central positions of the ***'s ability to restore their com.inative gam. and m.ve the focus of the gam. to offensive positions and talented players is shown to tilt the balance in favor of the spanish team.

Background:The heterogeneity of patients with COVID-19 m.y explain the wide variation of m.rtality rate due to the population characteristics,presence of com.rbidities and clinical ***:In this study,we analyzed 5342 patients’recordings and selected a cohort of 177 hospitalized patients with a poor prognosis at an early *** assessed during 6 m.nths their sym.tom.tology,coexisting health conditions,clinical m.asures and health assistance related to *** Cox proportional hazards m.dels were built to identify the associated factors with m.rtality ***:We observed that cough and kidney failure triplicate the m.rtality risk and both bilirubin levels and oncologic condition are shown as the m.st associated with the dem.se,increasing in four and ten tim.s the risk,*** clinical characteristics such as fever,diabetes m.llitus,breathing frequency,neutrophil-lym.hocyte ratio,oxygen saturation,and troponin levels,were also related to m.rtality risk of in-hospital ***:The present study shows that som. sym.tom.tology,com.rbidities and clinical m.asures could be the target of prevention tools to im.rove survival rates.
