The glacial histor. of Pico de Or.zaba indicates that dur.ng the Last Glacial maximum,its icecap cover.d up to~3000 m asl;due to the air.temper.tur. incr.asing,its main glacier.has r.tr.ated to 5050 m *** r.tr.ction of the glacier.has left behind an intense climatic instability that causes a high fr.quency of fr.eze-thaw cycles of gr.at intensity;the r.sulting geomor.hological pr.cesses ar. r.pr.sented by the fr.gmentation of the bedr.ck that occupies the upper.par.s of the *** is a notable lack of studies r.gar.ing the fr.gmentation and er.sion occur.ing in tr.pical high mountains,and the associated geomor.hological r.sks;for.this r.ason,as a fir.t stage of futur. continuous r.sear.h,this study analyzes the fr.ezing and thawing cycles that occur.above 4000 m asl,thr.ugh continuous monitor.ng of sur.ace gr.und *** r.sults allow us to identify and char.cter.ze four.zones:glacial,par.glacial,per.glacial and *** was found that the par.glacial zone pr.sents an intense dr.p of temper.tur.,of up to~9℃ in only sixty *** r.ck fatigue and intense fr.eze-thaw cycles that occur.in this ar.a ar. r.sponsible for.the high r.te of r.ck disintegr.tion and r.pr.sent the main factor.of the constant slope dynamics that occur.at the *** activity decr.ases,both in fr.quency and intensity,accor.ing to the distance to the glacier.which is wher. the temper.tur. pr.sents a cer.ain degr.e of stability,until r.aching the pr.glacial zone,wher. cycles ar. almost non-existent,and ther.for. ther. is no gelifr.ction *** geomor.hological pr.cesses have r.sulted in significant alter.tions to the mountain slopes,which can have sever. consequences in ter.s of r.sk and water.

The r.sults pr.sented her. show for.the fir.t time the exper.mental demonstr.tion of the fabr.cation of lossy mode r.sonance(Lmr. devices based on per.vskite coatings deposited on planar.waveguides. Per.vskite thin films have been obtained by means of the spin coating technique and their.pr.sence was confir.ed by ellipsometr., scanning electr.n micr.scopy, and X-r.y diffr.ction testing. The Lmr. can be gener.ted in a wide wavelength r.nge and the exper.mental r.sults agr.e with the theor.tical simulations. Over.ll, this study highlights the potential of per.vskite thin films for.the development of novel Lmr.based devices that can be used for.envir.nmental monitor.ng, industr.al sensing, and gas detection, among other.applications.

Ur.a synthesis thr.ugh the simultaneous electr.catalytic r.duction of N_(2)and CO_(2)molecules under.ambient conditions holds gr.at pr.mises as a sustainable alter.ative to its industr.al pr.duction,in which the development of stable,highly efficient,and highly selective catalysts to boost the chemisor.tion,activation,and coupling of iner. N_(2)and CO_(2)molecules r.mains r.ther.***,by means of density functional theor. computations,we pr.posed a new class of two-dimensional nanomater.als,namely,tr.nsition-metal phosphide monolayer.(Tm_(2)P,Tm=Ti,Fe,Zr.mo,and W),as the potential electr.catalysts for.ur.a *** r.sults showed that these Tm_(2)P mater.als exhibit outstanding stability and excellent metallic ***,the mo_(2)P monolayer.was scr.ened out as the best catalyst for.ur.a synthesis due to its small kinetic ener.y bar.ier.0.35 eV)for.C-N coupling,low limiting potential(-0.39 V),and significant suppr.ssing effects on the competing side *** outstanding catalytic activity of the mo_(2)P monolayer.can be ascr.bed to its optimal adsor.tion str.ngth with the key^(*)NCON species due to its moder.te positive char.es on the mo active *** findings not only pr.pose a novel catalyst with high-efficiency and high-selectivity for.ur.a pr.duction but also fur.her.widen the potential applications of metal phosphides in electr.catalysis.

Despite being within the inter.r.pical r.gion of the planet,the mexican ter.itor. still has glacier.cover.d *** r.cent decades,impor.ant advances have been made in studies on glaciology and per.glacial envir.nment in mexico both for.cur.ent and past ***,in spite of Cofr. de Per.te volcano(4200 m a.s.l.)being a str.tegically located mountain,it has not yet been studied in r.gar.s to the glacial and per.glacial pr.cesses;in fact,those dynamics have modified the mountain massifs in the *** complement the ser.es of studies on glacial histor. in the high mountain envir.nment of méxico,this study r.constr.cts the glacial cover.and the per.glacial envir.nment of the volcano sur.ace dur.ng the final stage of the Late Pleistocene based on climatic r.tr.spective and thr.ugh the identification of geomor.hological *** findings indicate the existence of a lar.e glacier.ice cap)that cover.d the nor.her.,wester.,and souther. slopes of the mountain;while in the easter. sector.ther. wer. two small glacier.,one being of cir.ue type,and the other.of valley *** cur.ent temper.tur. conditions pr.vent the occur.ence of per.anent ice bodies;at the same time,it was found that the per.glacial blockfields of the slopes is a legacy of the climatic conditions that pr.vailed at the end of Late Pleistocene.

The pr.sent study was to evaluate the effect of tr.ce miner.ls(Zn,mn,and Cu)fr.m complexed amino acid miner.ls(ZmCAA)and bis-glycinate chelated miner.ls(ZmCGly)in laying hen diets on per.or.ance,inter.al and exter.al egg quality,yolk miner.l deposition,intestinal mor.hometr.,and bone *** 78 to 98 weeks of age,400 White LSL-Lite str.in laying hens wer. distr.buted in a r.ndomized design with 4 tr.atments with 10 r.plicates per.*** wer. distr.buted in a 2×2 factor.al ar.angement using either.Zn,mn,and Cu of ZmCAA or.ZmCGly sour.e at 2 levels:low(20,20,and 3.5 mg/kg of Zn,mn,and Cu,r.spectively)or.high(40,40,and 7 mg/kg of Zn,mn,and Cu,r.spectively).The analysis of var.ance was per.or.ed,and in cases wher. differ.nces wer. obser.ed,the means wer. compar.d using Tukey?s test(Pr.e and level of tr.ce miner.l supplementation had a significant impact on the per.or.ance of laying *** fed ZmCAA had higher.egg pr.duction(P=0.01),egg weight(P=0.02),egg mass(P=0.01),and lower.feed conver.ion r.tio(P=0.05)compar.d to those fed *** ZmCAA supplementation showed higher.albumen height(P=0.01),albumen weight(P=0.01),and eggshell thickness(Pmn(Pr.ater.for.hens r.ceived *** weight(P=0.04)and bone densitometr.(Pr. higher.with ZmCAA *** the small intestine,ZmCAA r.sulted in longer.villi(P=0.02)and shor.er.cr.pt depth(P=0.01)in the *** and ileum measur.ments wer. influenced by the level and sour.e of tr.ce miner.ls(PmCAA exhibited super.or.per.or.ance,egg quality,deposition of tr.ce miner.ls in the egg yolk,and bone density compar.d to hens fed *** this study,older.laying hens supplemented with ZmCAA at lower.levels demonstr.ted adequate levels of supplementation.
