Nel corso di ricerche di superficie sono stati rinvenuti due manufatti litici isolati,ai margini opposti della collina di *** primo(fig.1)è stato raccolto nellazona nord orientale del colle(Long.2°08′21″,9 W;Lat.45°28′35″,1 N;I.G.M.,Tavoletta CASTENEDOLO,F°47 Ⅱ N.O.,ed.8,1975).La presenza di stacchirecenti nella zona prossimale della faccia ventrale,non consente di stabilire con asso-luta certezza la direzione dell’asse di scheggiatura,anche se,con buona probabilità sitratta di un raschiatoio déjeté(L=42;l=34;s=9;le misure sono riferite all’asse morfo-

La V. Narcanello è caratterizzata, nella sua parte sommitale, dalla Vedretta di Pisganae dall’apparato morenico della sua porzione occidentale, presso il quale sono maggiormente conservatele evidenze delle variazioni oloceniche. Sulla base di osservazioni morfologiche, stratigrafiche, tessiturali,dello stato di aherazione dei depositi, sull’osservazione del grado di lichenizzazione, dello sviluppo deisuoli e di date 14C, sono state differenziate le varie morene. Un’avanzata olocenica del ghiacciaio diPisgana occidentale, attribuibile al Neoglaciale, è stata individuata sulla base di due date 14C che inqua-drano l’evento in un periodo compreso tra 3350/3086 e 2706/2207 anni dal presente. Dall’inizio delXX sec. ad oggi, il ghiacciaio di Pisgana occidentale ha santo un generale ritiro di circa 1000 m, conbrevi e limitati periodi di riavanzata, il più cospicuo dei quali si coloca trail 1939 ed il 1941 （circa40 m）. A questa nota è allegata una carta geomorfologica dell’alta V. *** of Pisgana （Adamello Group）. Geomorphology and Holocene front *** Vedretta of Pisgana is located in the upper Narcanello Valley and it terminates with three distinctfronts. The western tongue is the best developed and it deposited several moraines which document Holo-cene front variations. Late Glacial and Holocene moraines of the Narcanello Valley have been differentia-ted on the basis of morphological, stratigraphical, textural observations, （14）C dates and of the weathe-ring degree of the glacial deposits as well as lichenization and soil development. From the left side ofNarcanello Valley comes the oldest 14C date so far obtained in the Adamello Group. A buried soil foundat 2545 m a.s.l, between two lateral moraines, Late Glacial and Holocene respectively, yielded an ageof 6600 ± 100 14C yr BP （GX-14711）. In the same area two dates bracket a Neoglacial advance ofthe western portion of the Vedretta of Pisgana.

Geomorphology of Avio Ualley(Adamello Group).The authors have carried out an investigation that led to the production of a geomorphological map and itsrelated explanatory *** present physionomy of the valley,mainly consisting of intrusive *** related to various morphogenetic agents:those that acted for a longer time and more deeplyare the glacial and periglacial *** erosional and depositional glacial forms characterize the middleand high ***,stratigraphical and textural observations regarding the weathered state ofthe deposits and the degree of *** various morainic deposits have been tentatively *** moraines from the last century are particulary abundant and thickly developed:in some places theycover deposits probably ascribable to older stages of the《small glaciation》.Also the moraines ascribable tothe late-glacial stages are widely *** related to periglacial environments such as rock-glaciers,protalus rampart,etc..have been *** landforms related to gravity and favouredby the metamorphic-type substratum are recognizable in the lower valley.

The travertine of Carvanno(Brescia)-The lithofacies of travertine of the Carvanno area aredescribed in *** deposits form the core of《Morphological Units》located at different altitudes andformed in different times during the *** deposition of the travertine is probably,from the evi-dence of morphological and morphostructural analyses,connected with the circulation of thermomineral wa-ters rising through tectonic contacts on the right of the Degagna *** subsequent levelling to terracesis due to variations in the base level of the rivers,connected with tectonic movements.

Lattice structures are three-dimensional structures composed of repeated geometrical shapes with multiple interconnected nodes,providing high strength-to-weight ratios,customizable properties,and efficient use of materials.A smart use of materials leads to reduced fuel consumption and lower operating costs,making them highly desirable for aircraft ***,the customizable properties of lattice structures allow for tailoring to specific design requirements,leading to improved performance and safety for *** advantages make lattice structures an important focus for research and development in the aviation *** paper presents an experimental evaluation of the mechanical compression properties of lattice trusses made with Ti6Al4V,designed for use in an anti-ice *** truss structures were manufactured using additive manufacturing techniques and tested under compressive loads to determine mechanical *** showed that lattice trusses exhibited high levels of compressive strength,making them suitable for use in applications where mechanical resistance and durability are critical,such as in anti-ice *** also highlight the potential of additive manufacturing techniques for the fabrication of lattice trusses with tailored mechanical *** study provides valuable insights into the mechanical behavior of Ti6Al4V lattice trusses and their potential applications in anti-ice systems,as well as other areas where high strength-to-weight ratios are *** results of this research contribute to the development of lightweight,efficient,and durable anti-ice systems for use in aviation and other industries.

Würmian fluvioglacial deposits connected with overflows of ice dammed lakes(Jkulhlaups)in ***(BS).Würmian fluvioglacial gravel deposits with《exotic》rounded boulders are interpreted as jkulh-laups sediments.A giant longitudinal bar is described near Sabbio Chiese(Brescia);it is about 1 km long,400 m wide and 20 m high and is developed downstrcam of a bedrock spur.

Loess and slope deposits at the edge of the Carvanno Travertine(Val Degagna-Brescia).Sedimentary processes and soil development between the Upper Pleistocene and the *** Au-thors describe a sequence some 4 metres thick composed of slope and loess deposits which lies at analtitude of 360 metres,20 metres above the Torrente *** series belongs to a polyciclic soil compo-sed of 4 lithostratigrapbic units which,from the bottom to the top,are as follows:—slightly weathered loess(Ⅳ C1);—red clayey soil sediments(Ⅲ B2)resulting from the erosion of a more ancient paleosol of《TerraRossa》type,developed during the Middle Pleistocene at the top of the Carvanno Tarvertine;—undisturbed loess and loess displaced by gelifluction(Ⅱ B21t/Ⅱ B23t);—recent colluvial deposits(A1+B1).The sequence was deposited between the Upper Pleistocene and the *** the Upper Pleisto-cene the loess deposition,alternated with colluvial and gelifluction phases,was caused by cold-humidclimatic *** the postglacial,the loess was affected by weathering which lead to the deve-lopment of an *** mieromorphological analysis evidenced several stages in the postglacial soilforming ***,in unstable geomorphological conditions,complex cutans(scheletans-matransiltans)covered the walls of the soil *** a later period,as a result of landscape stability,laminated andbirefringent ferri-argillans were mainly *** deposition of the upper colluvial cover(A1+B1)and the coarse fills of tlie underlying horizons were produced by a degradational phase due to the defore-station of the area in historical *** undisturbed argillans of the A1+B1 horizons indicate thatthe clay illuviation is still active in the area.

A Mesolithic assemblage from the Ciliverghe Hill(Brescia-Northern Italy).The flintindustry from Ciliverghe is attributed to a Late Mesolithic Castelnovian complex which flourished inNorthern Italy between the first half of the Ⅵ and the second half of the Ⅴ millennium bc.A similarassemblage had already been recovered from Monte Netto di Poncarale,an isolated hill rising fromthe northern Po Plain.
