Introduction:Alzheimer 's disease(AD) is a common neurodegenerative disorder and the primary cause of dementia. Considerable evidence supports the “amyloid hypothesis,” stating that the pathogenesis of AD is primarily caused by the deposition of amyloid-β(Aβ), which drives tau phosphorylation, neuroinflammation, and neurodegeneration in the brain. The amyloid hypothesis is strengthened by the significant and moderate benefit of lecanemab, a humanized antibody through an anti-amyloid mechanism,showing slowed clinical decline(van Dyck et al.,2023). The recent positive results of anti-amyloid trials have brought back focus on the amyloid hypothesis through biochemical, genetic, and pharmacological approaches(Zhang, 2023).

Depleting fossil energy sources and conventional polluting power generation pose a threat to sustainable *** generation from ubiquitous and spontaneous phase transitions between liquid and gaseous water has been considered a promising strategy for mitigating the energy *** materials with unique flexibility,processability,multifunctionality,and practicability have been widely applied for fibrous materials-based hydroelectricity generation(FHG).In this review,the power generation mechanisms,design principles,and electricity enhancement factors of FHG are first ***,the fabrication strategies and characteristics of varied constructions including 1D fiber,1D yarn,2D fabric,2D membrane,3D fibrous framework,and 3D fibrous gel are ***,the advanced functions of FHG during water harvesting,proton dissociation,ion separation,and charge accumulation processes are analyzed in ***,the potential applications including power supply,energy storage,electrical sensor,and information expression are also ***,some existing challenges are considered and prospects for future development are sincerely proposed.

Furfural is one of the most important biomass-based platform molecules as sustainable precursors for chemicals and fuels. The electrochemical hydrodimerization of furfural can generate hydrofuroin, which is a promising precursor for gasoline or jet ***, steering the selectivity toward hydrodimerization under near-neutral conditions that suppress polymerization and disproportionation of furfural remains challenging. Herein, we discovered that tuning the electrolyte cations could be an effective and alternative strategy for modulating furfural reduction to the traditional electrocatalyst design. Under the optimal Ca2+cations,hydrofuroin yield could be much improved from other cations with hydrofuroin selectivity of 95.5%. The systematic characterization of the ion-centered double layer reflected the suitable sizes and charges of hydrated Ca2+for suppressing the hydrogen evolution reaction from activation of surrounding water molecules as well as encouraging furfural accumulation via non-covalent interaction for directing the electron transfer to furfurals. Ions with smaller or larger sizes can either activate local water molecules or form a crowded ionic interface that casts an adverse effect on furfural enrichment. This work not only presents an effective strategy for facilitating biomass valorization via hydrodimerization but also emphasizes the essential role of the ion-centered microenvironment for steering the electrocatalytic pathways.

Developing a bridge capping layer between perovskite and hole transport layer materials（HTMs） in the n-i-p perovskite solar cells（pero-SCs） is an effective approach to modify the morphology of HTMs and passivate the perovskite ***, we select the quinoxaline-based bifunctional passivation agent, quinoxalin-6-yl-methylamine hydrochloride（Qx MACl）,as the bridging layer, and a D-A copolymer PBQ12 containing the same quinoxaline unit as an HTM for the n-i-p pero-SCs. Due to the π-π stacking among the common quinoxaline units in the bridge layer and HTM, Qx MACl induces the π-π stacking of the PBQ12 film and improves the film morphology of HTMs with better conductivity. Additionally, Qx MACl can effectively passivate the perovskite surface, and PBQ12 possesses appropriate energy levels and high hole mobility. The pero-SCs based on FAPbI3with PBQ12/Qx MACl treatment showed a higher power conversion efficiency（PCE） of 24.05% and outstanding stability, maintaining 95.4% and 92.1% of its initial PCE after 750 h of storage and after over 800 h of thermal annealing at 85 °C, respectively. To further enhance the PCE of the PBQ12/Qx MACl-based devices, we developed a non-metal ion dopant for the PBQ12 HTM. Through trace doping of PBQ12 HTM by the non-metal ion dopant, the PCE of the PBQ12/Qx MACl-based devices reached 25.24%（the calibrated PCE of 24.55% by the National Institute of Metrology, China）.

Circular RNAs(circRNAs) play pivotal roles in the development and progression of various diseases, including malignant tumors. However,the biological functions and the underlying mechanisms of many circRNAs remain elusive. In this study, we identified a novel circRNA,circTP63-N, generated through the splicing of exons 2–4 of the TP63 gene in nasopharyngeal carcinoma(NPC). circTP63-N was found to be downregulated in clinical samples of NPC. Both in vitro and in vivo experiments unequivocally demonstrated that circTP63-N inhibits the proliferation and metastasis of NPC cells. Further investigations revealed that circTP63-N interacted with the HSP90AB1 protein, leading to the recruitment of LATS/YAP1 proteins. This, in turn, induced phosphorylation and ubiquitination-dependent degradation of YAP1, resulting in reduced nuclear translocation of YAP1 and inhibition of the transcriptional activation of downstream oncogenic genes, including INHBA, MMP3, and CCNE2. Our findings highlight the identification of circTP63-N, a novel circRNA encoded by an important tumor-relevant gene TP63 and elucidate its molecular mechanism as a tumor suppressor in NPC. These insights offer novel potential molecular markers and therapeutic targets for the clinical diagnosis and treatment of NPC.

The rubber-containing waste materials have been widely used to improve the engineering properties of soils in recent *** others,granular rubbers are utilized in various ways to increase the bearing capacity and shear strength and to reduce the settlement and liquefaction potential of *** granular rubbers have many advantages such as temperature resistance,flexibility,tear-resistance,non-slip,and thermal and electrical *** study presents the distribution characteristics of five different types of clayey soils with different engineering properties containing waste rubber particles(WRPs).On the other hand,determining and controlling the dispersion characteristics of clayey soils is two significant engineering *** study aims to solve these two remarkable and problematic issues in an eco-friendly and safe *** role of WRP treatment in the investigation of soil dispersion behavior,which can cause dangerous problems such as piping,erosion,and dispersion,reflects the original and different perspectives of this *** this scope,geotechnical parameters of the clayey soils were ***,pinhole test,crumb test,double hydrometer test,and scanning electron microscopy(SEM)analysis were performed on the Na-activated bentonite,refined ball clay,Ukrainian kaolin,Avanos kaolin,and Afyon clay samples with different percentages of WRPs(0%,5%,10%,and 15%).Consequently,Avanos and Ukrainian kaolin clays gave the most limited response to the dispersion behavior with the addition of ***,WRP treatment on the ball clay and bentonite samples showed limited *** clay,which was defined as dispersive by the three tests that determined its dispersion potential,showed 3 level changes in the pinhole tests and 2 level changes in the crumb tests,and gave the most effective results in terms of WRP efficiency.

A silver iodide, （ipq）4Ag418 1, has been synthesized in the presence of ipq （ipq = N-（isopentyl）-quinolinium） acting as a structure-directing reagent （SDA）. Compound 1 crystallizes in the triclinic system, space group PT, with a = 9.850（2）, b = 11.564（2）, c = 16.111（3） ,A ,α = 104.64（3）, β = 105.73（3）, γ = 94.37（3）o, V= 1688.3（7） A^3, Z = 2, D,= 2.205 g/cm^3, F（000） = 1042, C28H33Ag2l4N2, Mr= 1120.90, μ（MoKa） = 4.836 mm^-1, the final R = 0.0363 and wR = 0.0761 for 5465 observed reflections with 1 〉 2σ（I）. 1 consists of uncoordinated structure-directing molecule and inorganic moiety tuned by organic SDA. Tetrameric Ag4I8^4- anion in 1 is composed of edgesharing AgI4 tetrahedra and AgI3 planar triangles. Electrostatic interaction between organic counter cations and inorgan!c moieties is present and contributes to the crystal packing. 1 was further characterized with IR, UV-Vis, elemental analysis and cyclic voltammetry. Based on the crystal structure data, quantum chemical calculation with DFr method was used to reveal the electronic structure and optical property of 1.
