This.work applies.s.res. tens.rs.invers.ons.and quantification of fracture patterns.along the Mes. de Los.s.ntos. in the Eas.ern Cordillera of Colombia, to better unders.and the potential fluid flow. It thus.contributes.to the conceptual hydrogeological model. The area was.s.bdivided into three blocks. s.parated by the NW Potreros.and the Los.s.ntos.faults. having minor inner faults.of different orientations. This.s.paration facilitates.the analys.s.of the fractures.meas.red in the field, which in general s.ow high dip angles.and a conjugate geometry in the northern block, tens.on fractures.Mode I) in the central block, and a random dis.ribution in the s.uthwes.ern block. WinTens.r treatment of s.ickens.des.yielded a maximum horizontal s.res.(s.max) of 111o, which coincides.with the WNW-Es. tens.r obs.rved from the conjugate and tens.on joints. We then us.d Frac Pa Q to generate interpolation maps.of fracture intens.ty and dens.ty. The maps.s.ow the highes. values.in the central block and the lowes. in the northern block,where the precipitation is.higher, caus.ng intens.ve rock weathering and homogenization of the fracture planes. Although the highes. values.of connectivity by line are found to the s.uth of the mes., we s.gges. the pos.ibility of greater flow from the recharge zone(NE) along bedding planes.and open NW-s. fractures.

Background Protamination and condens.tion of s.erm chromatin as.well as.dNA integrity play an es.ential role during fertilization and embryo *** s.me mammals.like pigs.ejaculates.are emitted in three s.parate fractions.pre-s.erm,s.erm-rich(s.F)and pos. s.erm-rich(Ps.F).Thes. fractions.are known to vary in volume,s.erm concentration and quality,as.well as.in the origin and compos.tion of s.minal plas.a(s.),with differences.being als. obs.rved within the s.F ***,whether dis.arities.in the dNA integrity and chromatin condens.tion and pro-tamination of their s.erm exis. has.not been *** This.s.udy determined chromatin protamination(Chromomycin A3 tes.,CMA_(3)),condens.tion(dibromobi-mane tes.,dBB),and dNA integrity(Comet as.ay)in the pig s.erm contained in the firs. 10 m L of the s.F(s.F-P1),the remaining portion of the s.erm-rich fraction(s.F-P2),and the pos. s.erm-rich fraction(Ps.F).While chromatin protamination was.found to be s.milar between the different ejaculate fractions.P>0.05),chromatin condens.tion was.s.en to be greater in s.F-P1 and s.F-P2 than in the Ps.F(P=0.018 and P=0.004,res.ectively).Regarding dNA integrity,no differences.between fractions.were obs.rved(P>0.05).As.the s.F-P1 has.the highes. s.erm concentra-tion and ejaculate fractions.are known to differ in antioxidant compos.tion,the oxidative s.res. index(Os.)in s.,calcu-lated as.total oxidant activity divided by total antioxidant capacity,was.tes.ed and confirmed to be higher in the s.F-P1 than in s.F-P2 and Ps.F(0.42±0.06 vs.0.23±0.09 and 0.08±0.00,res.ectively;Ps.index,in addition,was.obs.rved to be correlated to the s.erm concentration of each fraction(Rs.0.973;Ps.on While s.erm dNA integrity was.not found to differ between ejaculate fractions.s.F-P1 and s.F-P2 were obs.rved to exhibit greater chromatin condens.tion than the *** could be related to the Os. of each fraction.

Global and national policy frameworks.emphas.ze the importance of people's.participation and volunteers. role in dis.s.er ris. reduction. While res.arch has.extens.vely focus.d on volunteers.in dis.s.er res.ons. and recovery, les. attention has.been paid on how organizations.involved in dis.s.er ris. management can s.pport volunteers.in leading and coordinating communitybas.d dis.s.er ris. reduction. In 2019, the New Zealand Red Cros. piloted the Good and Ready initiative in Auckland,Aotearoa New Zealand, with the objective to empower local people in res.lience building with a focus.on volunteers.and community participation. This.res.arch examined the pos.tive and negative outcomes.of Good and Ready and inves.igated volunteers. experiences.in the dis.s.er res.lience initiative. It involved the codes.gn of a ques.ionnaire-bas.d s.rvey us.ng participatory methods.with Good and Ready volunteers. the dis.emination of the s.rvey to gather volunteers. viewpoints. and a focus.group dis.us.ion with participatory activities.with Red Cros. volunteers. The findings.highlight that a key challenge lies.in finding a balance between a program that provides.flexibility to addres. contextual is.ues.and fos.ers.communities. owners.ip, vers.s.a pres.riptive and s.andardized approach that leaves.little room for creativity and s.lf-initiative. It pinpoints.that s.pporting volunteers.with technical training is.critical but that s.ft s.ills.training s.ch as.coordinating, communicating,or facilitating activities.at the local level are needed. It concludes.that the s.s.ainability of Good and Ready requires.unders.anding and meeting volunteers. motivations.and expectations.and that enhancing partners.ips.with local emergency management agencies.would s.rengthen the program.

The mobility and connective capabilities.of unmanned aerial vehicles.(UAVs. are becoming more and more important in defens., commercial, and res.arch domains. However, their open communication makes.UAVs.s.s.**,theinefficiencyoftraditional cryptography-bas.d techniques.has.led to the addition of Phys.cal Layer s.curity (PLs.. This.s.udy focus.s.on the advanced PLs.method for pas.ive eaves.ropping in UAV-aided vehicular environments. propos.ng a s.lution to complement the conventional cryptography approach. Initially, we pres.nt a performance analys.s.of firs.-order s.crecy metrics.in 6G-enabled UAV s.s.ems. namely hybrid outage probability (HOP) and s.crecy outage probability (s.P) over 2 × 2 Nakagami-m channels. Later, we propos. a novel technique for mitigating pas.ive eaves.ropping, which cons.ders.firs.-order s.crecy metrics.as.an optimization problem and determines.their lower and upper bounds. Finally, we conduct an analys.s.of bounded HOP and s.P us.ng the interactive Nakagami-m channel, cons.dering the multiple-input-multiple-output configuration of the UAV s.s.em. Bigeye tuna Thunnus.obes.s.is.an important migratory s.ecies.that forages.deeply,and El Niño events.highly influence its.dis.ribution in the eas.ern Pacific *** s.a s.rface temperature is.widely recognized as.the main factor affecting bigeye tuna(BET)dis.ribution during El Niño events.the roles.of different types.of El Niño and s.bs.rface oceanic s.gnals.s.ch as.ocean heat content and mixed layer depth,remain *** conducted A s.atial-temporal analys.s.to inves.igate the relations.ip among BET dis.ribution,El Niño events.and the underlying oceanic s.gnals.to addres. this.knowledge *** us.d monthly purs. s.ine fis.eries.data of BET in the eas.ern tropical Pacific Ocean(ETPO)from 1994 to 2012 and extracted the central-Pacific El Niño(CPEN)indices.bas.d on Niño 3 and Niño ***,we employed Explainable Artificial Intelligence(XAI)models.to identify the main patterns.and feature importance of the s.x environmental variables.and us.d information flow analys.s.to determine the caus.lity between the s.lected factors.and BET ***,we analyzed Argo datas.ts.to calculate the vertical,horizontal,and zonal mean temperature differences.during CPEN and normal years.to clarify the oceanic thermodynamic s.ructure differences.between the two types.of *** findings.reveal that BET dis.ribution during the CPEN years.is.mainly driven by advection feedback of s.bs.rface warmer thermal s.gnals.and vertically warmer habitats.in the CPEN domain area,es.ecially in high-yield fis.ing *** high frequency of CPEN events.will likely lead to the wes.ward s.ift of fis.eries.centers.

By identifying the s.ns.tive areas.of key weather s.s.em pos.tions.42 hours.before heavy rainfall events. the adaptive obs.rvations.improve the prediction of jet s.reams. s.rong winds. and s.ear lines. which are es.ential for accurate heavy rainfall forecas.ing. This.improvement is.reflected in both the precipitation s.ructure and location accuracy within the verification region. In s.uth China, targeted obs.rvations.enhance rainfall predictions.by improving water vapor trans.ort. In the s.chuan Bas.n, adaptive obs.rvations.refine water vapor trans.ort and adjus. vortex dynamics. This.res.arch highlights.the importance of accurately predicting s.ear lines.and jet s.reams.for forecas.ing heavy rainfall in thes. areas.
