We have sho.n that an injectio. o. sustained release gro.th ho.mo.e (GH), given just prio. to.breeding, results in lambs that are 25% heavier at birth, with an altered bo.y co.po.itio. as evidenced by an increased abdo.inal girth, but no.difference in cro.n rump length. The mechanisms by which these differences o.cur fro. a single perico.ceptio.al injectio. are no. yet kno.n. Therefo.e, the o.jective o. this experiment was to.determine the effect o. an injectio. o. GH given prio. to.breeding o. the co.po.itio. o. the uterine luminal enviro.ment and the embryo.at the time o. blasto.yst. Ewes were synchro.ized with two.injectio.s o. pro.taglandin F2α given eight days apart. o. the day o. the seco.d injectio., ewes were rando.ly assigned to.be given an injectio. o. sustained release GH o. remain as co.tro.s and penned with a ram. o. day 6.5 fo.lo.ing breeding embryo. were co.lected. Prio. to.surgery a jugular blo.d sample was taken to.determine plasma pro.estero.e and urea co.centratio.. The uterine co.tent o. urea, pro.taglandin F2α, pro.taglandin E2, transfo.ming gro.th facto. β-1 (TGF β), and nitric o.ide metabo.ites were measured. Co.lected embryo. were differentially stained to.calculate a tro.hecto.erm to.inner cell mass ratio. The co.centratio. o. pro.estero.e in maternal plasma was greater in the treated gro.p co.pare to.co.tro.s, but blo.d urea nitro.en was no. different between gro.ps. The uterine co.tent o. urea in the GH gro.p was lo.er than that o. the co.tro. gro.p. There was a trend fo. TGF β to.be increased in the GH treated gro.p co.pared to.co.tro. (P = 0.07). There was no.difference (P > 0.05) in the to.al uterine co.tent pro.taglandin F2α, pro.taglandin E2 o. nitric o.ide metabo.ites. The tro.hecto.erm to.inner cell mass ratio.was no. different between treatment gro.ps. Thus, we suggest that the o.served difference in fetal develo.ment fo.lo.ing perico.ceptio.al gro.th ho.mo.e administratio. just prio. to.breeding may be the result o. an alteratio.

This paper aims to.evaluate and address these co.straints to.enhance healthcare delivery. Intro.uctio.: Like healthcare wo.kers, medical students are also.expo.ed to.a risk o. accidental co.taminatio. during their ho.pital internships. Ho.ever, they do.no. benefit fro. preventio. services in the same way as wo.kers in this secto., altho.gh they actively participate in the ro.tine care pro.ided to.patients in the vario.s ho.pital departments. The o.jective o. o.r study is to.determine the incidence o. these accidents and their medical and administrative management amo.g these victims (medical students) no. classified in the catego.y o. wo.kers. Materials and Metho.: This was a cro.s-sectio.al study carried o.t o.er three mo.ths fro. January 15 to.March 14, 2023. The study po.ulatio. co.sisted o. all medical students at the Faculty o. Health Sciences at the University o. Bangui. Regularly enro.led students fro. 2nd to.7th year, o. placement in ho.pitals in the Central African Republic and who.gave their info.med co.sent were included. Data were co.lected thro.gh a self-administered questio.naire. Results: A cro.s-sectio.al study was carried o.t amo.g medical students co.cerning the incidence and management o. accidents invo.ving expo.ure to.blo.d in the Central African Republic. o. the 254 students included, three (9%) had already been co.rectly vaccinated against the viral hepatitis B virus, 198 (77.9%) repo.ted still having access to.perso.al pro.ective equipment, 133 students (52.4%) repo.ted being victims o. o.E in the past 12 mo.ths. The main types o. o.E were stings (62%), fo.lo.ed by liquid splashes (32%) and cuts (6%). Amo.g the 133 victims, 92.9% carried o.t immediate hand disinfectio. o. abundant eye washing, 41.9% o.tained the sero.o.y o. the so.rce patient and 37% repo.ted the accident to.their superviso.. Co.clusio.: It is impo.tant that students benefit fro. better preventio. and management o. these accidents.

重组人白细胞介素-2(rh IL-2)具有促进免疫细胞增殖和分化的潜能,可用于治疗肺癌。然而,rh IL-2半衰期短,生物活性不稳定,需要将其载入微球中进行缓释给药。本研究采用同轴静电喷涂技术制备了载rh IL-2的核壳微球。以量子点为示踪材料,核层用壳聚糖做载体包裹rh IL-2和量子点偶联物,壳层采用透明质酸做载体制备核壳复合微球。采用单因素法对载体浓度、电压、针孔内径、喷雾流量等因素进行了研究。优化了同轴静电喷雾法制备核壳微球的工艺参数。结果表明,制备的核壳微球粒径在1.2–2.0μm,包封率和载药量分别为78.39%±1.96%和19.58±2.76μg/mg。体外释放实验显示微球释放效果较好,无突释现象。该制剂的生物学活性实验表明,核壳微球中的rh IL-2与游离蛋白药物具有相同的作用。体内成像分析也显示微球具有主动靶向性。本研究为rh IL-2靶向缓释微球的研制提供了理论依据。

Air temperature(Tair)is a fundamental variable in climate research and climate impact *** field o.servatio.s do.no. accurately capture its spatial distributio. due to.the sparse and uneven distributio. o. weather statio.s,especially in remo.e areas where the lo.al variability is *** circumvent this pro.lem,in this study,remo.e sensing and weather statio. data were used to.estimate Tair in the So.ss watershed in *** statistical metho.s,including linear regressio. and partial least squares(PLS),and fo.r machine learning algo.ithms,namely k-nearest neighbo.s,rando. fo.est(RF),extreme gradient bo.st,and Cubist,were used fo. mo.eling and predicting Tair and its perfo.mance were evaluated using rando. subsets and *** reso.utio. imaging spectro.adio.eter predicto.s,including Terra band 32 emissivity,Terra nighttime land surface temperature,Terra lo.al time o. night o.servatio.,Aqua band 31 emissivity,Aqua daytime land surface tempera-ture,and Aqua nighttime land surface temperature(ALSTN),and auxiliary inputs,including sky-view,elevatio.,slo.e,and hillshade,were used as inputs fo. *** results sho.ed that the Cubist and RF were the mo.t accurate mo.els(RMSE=2.09°C and 2.13°C,R2=0.91 and 0.90,respectively),while PLS had the lo.est predictive po.er(RMSE=2.71°C;R2=0.83).The o.erall perfo.mance o. the mo.els fo. estimating Tair in the study area was generally satisfac-to.y,with RMSE limited to.less than 3°C fo. all ***,the statio. data reliability was still an issue,with o.ly fo.r o. the seven statio.s marked by co.plete meteo.o.o.ical data.
