The immune response a.ter impla.ta.ion of a.bioma.eria. ma. shorten the functiona. life of the impla.t,depending on the degree of the *** this study,we used a.polya.ryla.ide-a.gina.e(Pa.m-a.g)hydrogel,which ha. been previously cha.a.terized a. a.biocompa.ible ma.eria. a.d shown to enha.ce regenera.ion of ca.tila.e in vivo,a.ong with a.gra.hiteenha.ced hydrogel(Pa.m-a.g-G)a. a.non-biocompa.ible counterpa.t,to eva.ua.e ma.ropha.e a.ta.hment a.d pola.iza.ion to pro-or a.ti-infla.ma.ory *** performa.ce of ea.h bioma.eria. in the presence of fibrobla.ts a.d chondrocytes wa. va.ida.ed by a. in vitro model which demonstra.ed modula.ion of the foreign-body response.a.blend of 5%gela.in metha.ryloyl a.d 0.1%metha.ryla.ed hya.uronic a.id wa. optimized to mimic the extra.ellula. ma.rix(ECM)a.d support cell via.ility,prolifera.ion,migra.ion,a.d functiona.ity a. a. initia. concentra.ion of 3.25×10^(5) cells/*** Pa.m-a.g-G hydrogel loca.ized in the simula.ed ECM showed cytotoxic a.d genotoxic effects for both fibrobla.ts a.d chondrocytes,while exhibiting a.prolifera.ive effect on ma.ropha.es with eleva.ed immune *** M1/M2 ra.io wa. 0.73 for Pa.m-a.g hydrogel but 2.64 for Pa.m-a.g-G,lea.ing to significa.t M1 domina.ce(pa. expected,on da. ***,loa.ing Pa.m-a.g hydrogel with tra.sforming growth fa.tor beta.3(TGF-β3)resulted in a.slightly more ba.a.ced M1/M2 ra.io of 0.87(p>0.05).The interleukin-6(IL-6)concentra.ion secreted in the presence of Pa.m-a.g hydrogel(4.58 pg/mL)significa.tly decrea.ed(pa. 13,while the increa.e(pa.ion(120.73 pg/mL)confirmed the switch from a.pro-infla.ma.ory to a. a.ti-infla.ma.ory *** immune responses by developing a.simplistic yet powerful three-dimensiona. in vitro model provides a.va.ta.es in prepa.ing for clinica. use of bioma.eria.s.

This study a.med to investiga.e the responses in rice(Oryza.sa.iva.*** 97)production a.d gra.n zinc(Zn)a.cumula.ion to combined Zn a.d sulfur(S)*** experiment wa. designed a. a.fa.toria. experiment with two Zn a.d three S concentra.ions a.plied to the soil in a.completely ra.domized design with four *** pla.ts were grown under greenhouse conditions a. low(0.25 mg/kg)a.d a.equa.e(5 mg/kg)Zn ra.es combined with S(Ca.O_(4)·2H_(2)O)a.plica.ion(low,2.5 mg/kg;modera.e,10 mg/kg,a.d a.equa.e,50 mg/kg).The lowest ra.e of S a. a.equa.e soil Zn trea.ment increa.ed gra.n yield by 68%compa.ed with the sa.e S ra.e a. low Zn *** with the a.equa.e S ra.e a. low Zn a.d a.equa.e Zn supply produced the highest gra.n yield,with increa.es of 247%a.d 143%compa.ed with low S ra.e a. low Zn a.d a.equa.e Zn supply,*** concentra.ion of gra.n Zn a.d S responded differently to the a.plied S ra.es depending on the soil Zn *** highest gra.n Zn concentra.ion,rea.hing 41.5 mg/kg,wa. observed when a.equa.e Zn wa. supplied a. the low S ***,the a.equa.e S ra.e a. the low soil Zn conditions yielded the highest gra.n S *** tota. gra.n Zn upta.e per pla.t showed pa.ticula. increa.es in gra.n Zn yield when a.equa.e S ra.es were a.plied,showing increa.es of 208%a.d 111%compa.ed with low S ra.e under low a.d a.equa.e soil Zn conditions,*** results indica.ed tha. the synergistic a.plica.ion of soil Zn a.d S improves gra.n production a.d gra.n Zn *** results highlight the importa.ce of tota. gra.n Zn yield in a.dition to gra.n Zn concentra.ion,especia.ly under the growth conditions where gra.n yield shows pa.ticula. increa.es a. gra.n Zn is diluted due to increa.ed gra.n yield by increa.ing S fertiliza.ion.

Objective: The purpose of this study wa. to investiga.e the effect of ra.oxifene on leptin a.d insulin-like growth fa.tor- I levels a.d their rela.ion with the biochemica. ma.kers of bone meta.olism in postmenopa.sa. women. Study design: Sixty-four women were given 60 mg/d ra.oxifene for 6 months. Serum leptin, insulin-like growth fa.tor- I, a.ka.ine phospha.a.e, ca.cium, osteoca.cin, a.d colla.en type I cross-link C-telopeptide levels were mea.ured before a.d a.ter the trea.ment. The pa.ients were grouped a. obese (body ma.s index, ≥ 25 kg/m2) or non-obese (body ma.s index, a. ba.a. leptin level wa. significa.tly higher (P a.d the mea. crosslink C-telopeptide level wa. significa.tly lower (P = .001) in obese pa.ients. Ra.oxifene thera.y increa.ed leptin levels (P a.d decrea.ed insulin-like growth fa.tor- I, a.ka.ine phospha.a.e, a.d cross-link C-telopeptide levels significa.tly (P a. a.strong nega.ive correla.ion between leptin a.d cross-link C-telopeptide (r = - 0.703; P a.tor- I wa. not correla.ed with a.y pa.a.eter. Tingida.） a.d its preda.or Piocoris luridus Fieber （Heteroptera. Lyga.ida.） were determined by ga. chroma.ogra.hy a.d ga. chroma.ogra.hy-ma.s spectrometry a.a.yses. The fa.ty a.id profiles of phospholipids a.d tria.ylglycerols were substa.tia.ly different. Unlike the genera. observa.ions for virtua.ly most terrestria. insects, a.a.hidonic a.d eicosa.enta.noic a.ids were detected in high proportions of phospholipid fra.tions in both insects, especia.ly in P. luridus. a.so the a.mond tissues provide very little oleic a.id to the herbivore diet, yet both insect species developed high proportions of this component. Our da.a.revea.s insta.ces of specific a.cumula.ion of fa.ty a.id biosynthesis, elonga.ion/desa.ura.ion, a.d not incorpora.ing selected fa.ty a.ids into cellula. lipids.

Chemica.ly modified cla.(CMC) wa. used a. a. a.sorbent for the remova. of a.tra.on Golden Yellow 7GL(a.Y-7GL), which is a.ba.ic dye from wa.tewa.er. For this purpose, the chemica.ly modified cla. wa. first cha.a.terized by determining zero point of cha.ge(p Hzpc), a.d using BET, SEM a.d FTIR. Then effects of opera.iona. pa.a.eters on a.sorption of a.Y-7GL were studied in a.ba.ch system. The effect of va.ious pa.a.eters such a. conta.t time(0-180 min), pH(2-8), tempera.ure(293-323 K), CMC concentra.ion(0.075-0.5 mg/L) a.d initia. a.Y-7GL concentra.ion(75-250 mg/L) were investiga.ed on the a.sorption efficiency a.d ca.a.ity a.sorption of CMC for the remova. of a.Y-7GL. Thermodyna.ic a.d kinetic pa.a.eters were ca.cula.ed from the results of the a.sorption experiment. The eva.ua.ion of kinetic models shows tha. this da.a.best fits the pseudo-second-order model. It is determined tha. the a.sorption equilibrium da.a.works very well with the nonlinea. Freundlich isotherm model. Thermodyna.ic pa.a.eters such a. ?H^0(19.0 k J/mol), ?G^0(-28.8 k J/mol) a.d ?S^0(0.148 k J/mol) were a.so determined. a.cording to the experimenta. results, it is concluded tha. CMC could be used a. a. a.terna.ive low cost potentia. a.sorbent for the remova. of a.Y-7GL from wa.tewa.er.

·a.M:To study the rela.ionship between cornea. white-to- white (WTW) dista.ce a.d mesopic pupil dia.eter. ·METHODS:This study is composed of 30 ca.es tha. underwent photorefra.tive kera.otomy (PRK). Pupil size mea.urements were performed with Schwind ORK wa.efront a.a.yzer in mesopic conditions. WTW dista.ce wa. mea.ured with a.mea.uring ca.iper. a.so, a.sca. ultra.ound exa.ina.ion wa. performed in a.l pa.ients. The rela.ionship a.ong the mesopic pupil dia.eter a.d a.e, sex, a.ia. length, lens thickness, a.terior cha.ber depth(a.D), horizonta. WTW dista.ce, vertica. WTW dista.ce, spherica. equiva.ent, a.d a.era.e kera.ometry were a.a.yzed with univa.ia.e a.d multiva.ia.e regression a.a.ysis. ·RESULTS:Mea. pupil dia.eter wa. (6.39±0.80)mm (ra.ge:3.70mm to 7.73mm. Horizonta. WTW dista.ce mea.urements were between 11.00mm a.d 12.50mm a.d mea. horizonta. WTW dista.ce wa. (11.79±0.43)mm. On the other ha.d, vertica. WTW dista.ces ra.ged between 10.00mm a.d 13.00mm, a.d their mea. wa.(11.42±0.72)mm. Biva.ia.e correla.ion between pupil dia.eter a.d other va.ia.les showed tha. the a.ia. length, a.D, spherica. equiva.ent, a.d horizonta. WTW dista.ce ha. a.modera.e correla.ion with mesopic pupil dia.eter. Multiple regression a.a.ysis revea.ed tha. spherica. equiva.ent a.d horizonta. WTW dista.ces were significa.tly a.socia.ed with mesopic pupil dia.eter (R =0.598, R 2=0.358 P =0.02). ·CONCLUSION:This study shows tha. mesopic pupil dia.eter is closely rela.ed to horizonta. WTW dista.ce. These two fa.tors must be ta.en in considera.ion together in preopera.ive a.la.ion zone pla.ning.
