China has improved its social security system in recent decades,with the aim of achieving universal coverage and improving the equity of income *** on data from the five rounds of Chinese Household Income Project surveys from 1988 to 2018,this paper examines the long-term redistributive effects of social security programs in *** results show that social security programs have reduced income inequality consistently,and the positive redistributive effects have been improving for the past 30 *** security transfers have had an increasingly essential role in rural areas,especially after 2002 when China started to establish a comprehensive rural social safety net and expanded the coverage of the social security *** redistributive efficiency of the social security system has also increased recently.

Tree species and temperature change arising from seasonal variation or global warming are two important factors influencing N2O and NO emissions from forest soils. However, few studies have examined the effects of temperatures （5-35℃） on the emissions of forest soil N2O and NO in typical subtropical region. A short-term laboratory experiment was carried out to investigate the influence of temperature changes （5-35℃） on soil N2O and NO emissions under aerobic conditions in two contrasting （broad-leaved and coniferous） subtropical acidic forest types in China. The results showed that the temporal pattern of N2O and NO emissions between the three lower temperatures （5℃, 15℃, and 25℃） and 35℃ was significantly different for both broad-leaved and coniferous forest soils. The effects of temperature on soil N2O and NO emission rates varied between broad-leaved and coniferous forest soils. Both N2O and NO emissions increased exponentially with an increase in temperature in the broad-leaved forest soil. However, N2O and NO emissions in the coniferous forest soil were not sensitive to temperature change between 5℃ and 25℃. N2O and NO emission rates were significantly higher in the broad-leaved forest soil as compared with the coniferous forest soil at all incubation temperatures except 5℃. These results suggest that the broad-leaved forest could contribute more N2O and NO emissions than the coniferous forest for most of the year in the subtropical region of China.

BACKGROUND Coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)is amid an ongoing *** has been shown that patients with cardiovascular comorbidities are at higher risk of severe illness of *** To find out the relationship between cardiovascular comorbidities and severe illness of *** The clinical data of 140 COVID-19 patients treated from January 22,2020 to March 3,2020 at our hospital were retrospectively *** clinical characteristics were compared between patients with mild illness and those with severe *** There were 75 male patients and 65 female patients(53.6%vs 46.4%).The mean age was 45.4±14.6 years(range,2-85 years).most of the patients had mild illness(n=114,81.4%)and 26 patients had severe illness(18.6%).The most common symptom was fever(n=110,78.6%),followed by cough(n=82,58.6%)and expectoration(n=51,36.4%).Eight patients were asymptomatic but were positive for severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 *** with severe illness were significantly more likely to be hypertensive than those with mild illness[(10/26,38.4%)vs(22/114,19.3%),P=0.036].The levels of lactate dehydrogenase were significantly higher in the severe illness group than in the mild illness group(299.35±68.82 vs 202.94±63.87,P<0.001).No patient died in either the severe illness or the mild illness *** Hypertension and elevated levels of lactate dehydrogenase may be associated with severe illness of COVID-19.

AIM：To compare visual quality after femtosecond laser in situ keratomileusis（FS-LASIK）,between the coaxially sighted corneal light reflex（CSCLR） group and conventional ablation line of sight（LOS） ***：In total,243 eyes（122 patients） were treated with centration on the CSCLR（visual axis） and 238 eyes（119 patients） treated with centration on the pupil center（LOS）.Postoperative outcomes [uncorrected visual acuity（UCVA）,best spectacle-corrected visual acuity（BSCVA）],safety index,efficacy index,refractive outcome,ablation center distance from the visual axis,corneal high-order aberrations,subjective discomfort glare and shadowing incidence rate,and contrast sensitivity at 1,3,and 6mo were measured and ***：The mean age was 27.77±7.1y in the CSCLR group and 26.03±7.70 y in the LOS ***,the manifest refraction spherical equivalent（MRSE） was-6.68±2.60 D in the CSCLR group and-6.65±2.68 D in the LOS *** postoperative UCVA,BSCVA,MRSE（-0.03±0.263 D in the CSCLR group,-0.05±0.265 D in the LOS group）,efficacy index（1.04,1.03）,and safety index（1.09,1.08） were not significantly different between the groups（all P〉0.05）.In total,3% lost one line and more of BSCVA in the CSCLR group,as 9% in the LOS group postoperatively（P〈0.05）.The ablation center deviation was 0.20±0.15 mm from the visual axis（Pentacam system default setting;range,0-0.75 mm） in the CSCLR group,and 0.43±0.22 mm（range,0-1.32 mm） in the LOS group（P〈0.0001）.Statistically significant greater augmentationof total corneal higher-order aberrations（0.15±0.10 μm and 0.20±0.12 μm respectively,P=0.03） and vertical and horizontal coma（P〈0.0001） were noted in the LOS *** discomfort glare and shadowing incidence rates were 8.59% and 17.5% in the CSCLR and LOS groups,respectively（P〈0.05）.The 1-month postoperative contrast sensitivity visual acuity in the CSCLR group was significantly higher than that in the LOS group on contrast（100%,25%,10%） with a dark background,but there

Honghu Lake,located in the southeast of Hubei Province,China,has suffered a severe disturbance during the past few *** restore the ecosystem,the Honghu Lake Wetland Protection and Restoration Demonstration Project(HLWPRDP) has been implemented since 2004.A back propagation(BP) artificial neural network(ANN) approach was applied to evaluatinig the ecosystem health of the Honghu Lake *** the effectiveness of the HLWPRDP was also assessed by comparing the ecosystem health before and after the ***,12 ecosystem health indices were used as evaluation parameters to establish a set of three-layer BP *** output is one layer of ecosystem health *** training and testing the BP ANNs,an optimal model of BP ANNs was selected to assess the ecosystem health of the Honghu Lake *** result indicates that four stages can be identified based on the change of the ecosystem health from 1990 to 2008 and the ecosystem health index ranges from morbidity before the implementation of HLWPRDP(in 2002) to middle health after the implementation of the HLWPRDP(in 2005).It demonstrates that the HLWPRDP is effective and the BP ANN could be used as a tool for the assessment of ecosystem health.
