Parentage assignment and parental contribution analysis in large yellow croaker Larimichthys crocea using microsatellite markers

The large yellow croaker Larimichthys crocea is one of the most important fish species in China. To estimate the re- productive success of breeders, three independent full-factorial crosses were created and the fins of breeders and progenies were sampled for microsatellite analysis. Out of 959 offspring from three sets, 99.6% were assigned to their parents using 6-7 mi- crosatellite markers. In all crosses, some parent pairs produced a large number of offspring and some parent pairs did not produce any offspring. The contributions of male or female parents were unequal, ranging from 1.0-89.3% across the three sets. The loss of putative Ne was 69.6% in set 1, 31.2% in set 2 and 57.6% in set 3. These results suggest that the unequal contribution of parents is universal in artificial breeding ofL. crocea, especially in a small population, and this should be taken into account in hatcheries or when releasing animals for resource enhancement

The present study focuses on investigating the microstructural evolutions and mechanical properties of energetic Al_(1)(TiZrNbTaMoCr)_(15) refractory high-entropy alloys with the different heat treatments at low Al content state. It is found that even with a reduction in the Al content, the strength of these alloys remains unaffected at room temperature and high temperature, while the plasticity improves significantly. In particular, the coherent BCC/B_(2) microstructure with needle-like B_(2) nanoprecipitates dispersed into the BCC matrix is formed in 873 K-aged Al_(1)Ti_(6)Zr_(2)Nb_(3)Ta_(3)Mo_(0.5)Cr_(0.5) alloy. Therefore, this alloy exhibits the highest compression yield strength (σ_(YS) = 1333 and 717 MPa) at room temperature and 1073 K, respectively. After 973 K-aged, the coherent BCC/B_(2) microstructure underwent destabilization, and the B_(2) phase transforms into the brittle Zr5Al3 phase which then coarsens and dominates the microstructure of S3-AlTa_(3) alloy after 1073 K-aged. Moreover, these current alloys exhibit exceptionally high theoretical exothermic enthalpy (ΔH), surpassing 11606 J·g^(−1), which highlights their significant potential as innovative high-performance energetic structural materials.

The printed circuit heat exchanger(PCHE) is receiving wide attention as a new kind of compact heat exchanger and is considered as a promising vaporizer in the LNG process. In this paper, a PCHE straight channel in the length of 500 mm is established, with a semicircular cross section in a diameter of 1.2 *** simulation is employed to investigate the flow and heat transfer performance of supercritical methane in the channel. The pseudo-boiling theory is adopted and the liquid-like, two-phase-like, and vapor-like regimes are divided for supercritical methane to analyze the heat transfer and flow *** results are presented in micro segment to show the local convective heat transfer coefficient and pressure drop. It shows that the convective heat transfer coefficient in segments along the channel has a significant peak feature near the pseudo-critical point and a heat transfer deterioration when the average fluid temperature in the segment is higher than the pseudo-critical point. The reason is explained with the generation of vapor-like film near the channel wall that the peak feature related to a nucleateboiling-like state and heat transfer deterioration related to a film-boiling-like state. The effects of parameters, including mass flow rate, pressure, and wall heat flux on flow and heat transfer were *** calculating of the averaged heat transfer coefficient of the whole channel, the traditional method shows significant deviation and the micro segment weighted average method is adopted. The pressure drop can mainly be affected by the mass flux and pressure and little affected by the wall heat flux. The peak of the convective heat transfer coefficient can only form at high mass flux, low wall heat flux, and near critical pressure, in which condition the nucleate-boiling-like state is easier to appear. Utilizing interpretable stacking ensemble learning and NSGA-Ⅲ for the prediction and optimisation of building photo-thermal environment and energy consumption

This study develops an approach consisting of a stacking model integrated with a multi-objective optimisation algorithm aimed at predicting and optimising the ecological performance of *** integrated model consists of five base models and a meta-model,which significantly improves the prediction ***,the R2 value was improved by 9.19% and the error metrics MAE,MSE,MAPE,and CVRMSE were reduced by 69.47%,79.88%,67.32%,and 57.02%,respectively,compared to the single prediction *** to the research on interpretable machine learning,adding the SHAP value gives us a deeper understanding of the impact of each architectural design parameter on the *** the multi-objective optimisation part,we used the NSGA-Ⅲ algorithm to successfully improve the energy efficiency,daylight utilisation and thermal comfort of the ***,the optimal design solution reduces the energy use intensity by 31.6 kWh/m^(2),improves the useful daylight index by 39%,and modulated the thermal comfort index,resulting in a decrement of 0.69℃ for the summer season and an enhancement of 0.64℃ for the winter season,***,this study provides building designers and decision makers with a tool to make better design decisions at an early stage to achieve a better combination of energy efficiency,daylight utilisation and thermal comfort optimisation in an integrated manner,providing an important support for achieving sustainable building design.

Background Gastrojejunostomy is one of the most frequently used procedures for general surgeons. The creation of anastomosis between various parts of the gastrointestinal tract is a basic technical component and major task in the daily practice of almost all gastrointestinal procedures. This research evaluated a new procedure of making gastrointestinal anastomosis with *** Twenty experimental mini-pigs were randomized into two groups. In stent anastomosis group （SA）, the anastomoses were constructed with a poly-levolactic acid stent. In hand-sewn group （HA）, the anastomoses were performed with a single-layer continuous suture. Abdominal X-ray with intraluminal contrast was performed on the 10th postoperative day. Five pigs of each group were sacrificed on the postoperative days 3 and 14 to determine anastomotic bursting pressure in situ, hydroxyproline concentration, and histopathological evaluation of the anastomotic *** There was no intraoperative morbidity or mortality. The median time needed for the sutured anastomosis was （21.7±2.3） minutes and for the stent anastomosis was （11.9±1.9） minutes （P 〈0.001）. Abdominal X-ray with intraluminal contrast demonstrated normal gas distribution and showed no evidence of leakage or obstruction. Macroscopic appearance at the longitudinal opening of anastomosis was always good in both groups. The median anastomotic bursting pressure was （18.2±1.6） kPa in SA group on postoperative day 3, compared with （11.7±3.2） kPa in HA group （P=0.003）. The anastomotic bursting pressure on day 14 was not significantly different between SA group （（27.1±2.6）kPa） and HA group （（28.3±1.7） kPa）（P=0.388）.
