Mannogalactoglucan from mushrooms protects pancreatic islets via restoring UPR and promotes insulin secretion in TIDM mice

Type 1 diabetes mellitus(T1DM) lacks insulin secretion due to autoimmune deficiency of pancreaticβ-*** pancreatic islets and enhancing insulin secretion has been therapeutic *** is the main type of polysaccharide from natural mushroom,which has potential medicinal ***,the antidiabetic property of mannogalactoglucan in T1DM has not been fully *** this study,we obtained the neutral fraction of alkali-soluble Armillaria mellea polysaccharide(AAMP-N) with the structure of mannogalactoglucan from the fruiting body of *** and investigated the potential therapeutic value of AAMP-N in *** demonstrated that AAMP-N lowered blood glucose and improved diabetes symptoms in T1DM ***-N activated unfolded protein response(UPR) signaling pathway to maintain ER protein folding homeostasis and promote insulin secretion in *** that,AAMP-N promoted insulin synthesis via upregulating the expression of transcription factors,increased ca^(2+) signals to stimulate intracellular insulin secretory vesicle transport via activating calcium/calmodulin-dependent kinase Ⅱ(camkⅡ) and caMP/PKA signals,and enhanced insulin secretory vesicle fusion with the plasma membrane via vesicle-associated membrane protein 2(VAMP2).Collectively,these studies demonstrated that the therapeutic potential of AAMP-N on pancreatic islets function,indicating that mannogalactoglucan could be natural nutraceutical used for the treatment of T1DM.

Osmia solitary bees are important pollinators of various crops *** has been widely used to synchronize the emergence time of Osmia species from cocoons with the blooming time of different crops,but the fitness of Osmia after refrigeration remains ***,the effects of long-term refrigeration at 0℃on the vitality,flight ability,and metabolism of Osmia excavata,which is known as the"king of pollination"in China,were *** survival rate(>90%before 120 d),weight loss rate(cantly altered in *** before 130 d of refrigeration,which might explain why the survival rates and flight speed of *** remained high after long-term ***,the flight duration and distance decreased significantly(Pcate that the pollination potential of *** for various crops with different flowering periods is high after long-term refrigeration;however,long-term refrigeration may decrease pollination *** findings highlight new research directions that could improve the ecological service function of refrigerated ***.

VUca特性环境的兴起引致企业间知识转移及其治理活动的深度改变。如何配置一种既能管控模糊机会主义行为又能给予充分且自由交流的自适应性机制以提高获取关键技术资源的便捷性，已成为VUca环境下企业间知识活动面临的重要挑战。以往基于“二选一”逻辑范式分析正式与非正式控制间的关联性和冲突性，并不能有效应对VUca环境挑战和满足企业对双重治理功效的高要求。从VUca环境特性入手重新审视治理机制和知识转移活动，结合双元理论探讨VUca情境下有效的企业间治理机制，发展出企业间双元控制概念，并揭示了企业间双元控制的不同整合模式与差异化知识转移之间的匹配关系，进一步考察了获取能力的调节作用。基于260家中国企业的调研数据，结果发现：过程与社会控制的组合（平衡）更有利于技术转移，而结果与社会控制的组合（平衡）更有利于技巧交流；获取能力负向调节“过程与社会控制的组合—技术转移”“结果与社会控制的组合—技巧交流”间的关系。

Introduction The Gram-positive bacterium,Streptococcus pneumoniae(***),often colonizes the nasopharynx;however,it is one of the major microorganisms that cause pneumonia and meningitis.[[1],[2],[3]]It presents several virulence factors,such as surface proteins and enzymes,pneumolysin toxin,and a polysaccharide capsule,which is mainly responsible for the immune response;the capsule also facilitates classification of the bacterium into several serotypes.[1,2]In vulnerable individuals,the bacterium may lead to the development of invasive pneumococcal disease(IPD),which is defined as an infection of normally sterile locations.

Background Clonorchiasis and opisthorchiasis, caused by the liver flukesClonorchis sinensis andOpisthorchis viverrini respectively, represent significant neglected tropical diseases (NTDs) in Asia. The co-existence of these pathogens in overlapping regions complicates effective disease control strategies. This study aimed to clarify the distribution and interaction of these diseases within Southeast *** We systematically collated occurrence records of human clonorchiasis (n = 1809) and opisthorchiasis (n = 731) across the Southeast Asia countries. Utilizing species distribution models incorporating environmental and climatic data, coupled machine learning algorithms with boosted regression trees, we predicted and distinguished endemic areas for each fluke species. Machine learning techniques, including geospatial analysis, were employed to delineate the boundaries between these *** Our analysis revealed that the endemic range ofC. sinensis andO. viverrini in Southeast Asia primarily spans across part of China, Vietnam, Thailand, Laos, and cambodia. During the period from 2000 to 2018, we identifiedC. sinensis infections in 84 distinct locations, predominantly in southern China (Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region) and northern Vietnam. In a stark contrast,O. viverrini was more widely distributed, with infections documented in 721 locations across Thailand, Laos, cambodia, and Vietnam. Critical environmental determinants were quantitatively analyzed, revealing annual mean temperatures ranging between 14 and 20 °C in clonorchiasis-endemic areas and 24–30 °C in opisthorchiasis regions (P cation zone, demonstrating a clear separation between the endemic areas of these two liver flukes with AUC from 0.9 to1. 基于生态系统服务供需与拓扑结构分析的渭河流域生态网络优化

顾及区域自然资源禀赋和人类活动水平差异,优化生态网络成为缓解景观破碎化、提高连通性的有效途径,更保障了可持续发展目标的实现。在定量测度渭河流域2000、2010及2020年5项生态系统服务供需的基础上,引入景观生态学与复杂网络理论构建并分析该流域生态网络的时空格局及其网络拓扑结构特征,以供需比与源地节点的拓扑结构综合重要性之间的相关性为依据优化生态网络。结果表明:1)与2000年相比,2020年食物生产、土壤保持以及产水的供需比平均值分别上升70%、7%以及215%,而碳固定与生境质量则分别下降97%与1%。2)生态源地数量与占总面积比分别为125个和36%,生态阻力呈现“南低北高”的空间特征,约有280条平均长度为15 km的生态廊道,流域生态质量有所提升。3)2000、2010及2020年生态网络在面对蓄意攻击时,结构连通鲁棒性平均值依次为0.160、0.168以及0.150,说明2010年生态网络具有更稳定的网络结构;源地拓扑结构综合重要性与各类服务供需比均呈正相关,其中与碳固定服务供需比相关性最高,为0.51(P<0.001)。4)优化后的生态网络(2020年)在面对蓄意攻击时具有更高的连通鲁棒性,同时在一定攻击节点范围内表现出更为显著的“涌现”现象,优化后的网络具备更强的恢复力和缓冲力。研究结果可为渭河流域优化生态网络结构、提高生态系统抗干扰能力提供科学依据,也可为流域生态空间规划提供借鉴参考。

中文结构灵活多样，同样的语义有多种表达方式，在中文指令过长或存在多组动作的情况下，家庭服务机器人很难正确理解并做出响应。此外，家庭环境的中文指令解析研究在数据方面仍然稀缺。现有的方法不能准确提取出指令中包含的全部动作序列。由此提出一种基于ERNIE方法的动作序列提取(ASE-ERNIE)模型来提取中文指令中的可执行动作序列，该模型通过动作类型和参数之间的关系提取指令信息，将动作序列的提取工作转化为序列标注任务。在指令中存在多组动作并且存在多个参数的情况下，依然能够提取出全部动作序列。通过实验验证了所提方法的有效性，动作序列提取任务的F1值达到了80.37%。

The main protease(M^(pro))of SARS-CoV-2 is an attractive target in anti-COVID-19 therapy for its high conservation and major role in the virus life *** covalent M^(pro)inhibitor nirmatrelvir(in combination with ritonavir,a pharmacokinetic enhancer)and the non-covalent inhibitor ensitrelvir have shown efficacy in clinical trials and have been approved for therapeutic *** antiviral drugs are needed to fight the pandemic,while non-covalent M^(pro)inhibitors could be promising alternatives due to their high selectivity and favorable *** non-covalent M^(pro)inhibitors with desirable properties have been developed based on available crystal structures of M^(pro).In this article,we describe medicinal chemistry strategies applied for the discovery and optimization of non-covalent M^(pro)inhibitors,followed by a general overview and critical analysis of the available *** viewpoints and insights into current strategies for the development of non-covalent M^(pro)inhibitors are also discussed.

Effects of personalized oral hygiene management on oral health status of pregnant women

BACKGROUND The cariostat caries activity test(caT)was used to evaluate the effectiveness of personalized oral hygiene management combining oral health education and professional mechanical tooth cleaning on the oral health status of pregnant *** To investigate whether personalized oral hygiene management enhances the oral health status of pregnant *** A total of 114 pregnant women who were examined at Dalian Women’s and Children’s Medical Center were divided into four groups:High-risk experimental group(n=29;caT score≥2;received personalized oral hygiene management training),low-risk experimental group(n=29;caT score≤1;received oral health education),high-risk control group(n=28;caT score≥2),and low-risk control group(n=28;caT score≤1).No hygiene intervention was provided to control *** scores at different times were compared using independent samples t-test and least significant difference *** No significant difference in baseline caT scores was observed between the experimental and control groups,either in the high-risk or low-risk *** scores were reduced significantly after 3(1.74±0.47 vs 2.50±0.38,Pment intervention but not after oral health education alone(0.43±0.39 vs 0.46±0.33,P>0.05 and 0.45±0.36 vs 0.57±0.32,P>0.05,respectively).Within groups,the decrease in caT scores was significant(2.43±0.44 vs 1.74±0.47 vs 0.53±0.50,Pmental *** Personalized oral hygiene management is effective in improving the oral health of pregnant women and can improve pregnancy outcomes and the oral health of the general population.
