Optimization of phenol degradation by candida tropicalis Z-04 using Plackett-burman design and response surface methodology

In the flight process, the disturbances such as vibrations and frictions affect the stability accuracy of the servo loop of the inertial platform. besides, the model uncertainties exist due to the couplings of the three subsystem of the inertial platform. This paper presents a sliding mode controller based on a proportional integral （PI） disturbance observer. The state variables and disturbing torque are estimated accurately by the PI observer. Additionally, an integral sliding mode controller is designed. The vibration and stability error are reduced by employing the integral items of the states in designing the sliding mode surface. The simulation results show that the proposed methods can improve the control precision of the servo loop of the platform.

Statistical experimental designs were used to optimize the process of phenol degradation by candida tropicalis Z-04, isolated from phenol-degrading aerobic granules. The most important factors influencing phenol degradation （p 〈 0.05）, as identified by a two-level Plackett-burman design with 11 variables, were yeast extract, phenol, inoculum size, and temperature. Steepest ascent method was undertaken to determine the optimal regions of these four significant factors. Central composite design （CCD） and response surface analysis were adopted to further investigate the mutual interactions between these variables and to identify their optimal values that would generate maximum phenol degradation. The analysis results indicated that interactions between yeast extract and temperature, phenol and temperature, inocuhim size and temperature affected the response variable （phenol degradation） significantly. The predicted results showed that the maximum removal efficiency of phenol （99.10%） could be obtained under the optimum conditions of yeast extract 0.41 g/L, phenol 1.03 g/L, inoculum size 1.43% （v/v） and temperature 30.04℃. These predicted values were further verified by validation experiments. The excellent correlation between predicted and experimental values confirmed the validity and practicability of this statistical optimum strategy. This study indicated the excellent ability of C. tropicalis Z-04 in degrading high-strength phenol. Optimal conditions obtained in this experiment laid a solid foundation for further use of this microorganism in the treatment of highstrength phenol effluents.

In mechanics, both classical and quantum, one studies the profound interaction betweentwo types of energy, namely, the kinetic energy and the potential energy. The former can beorganized as the kinematic metric on the configuration space while the latter can be representedby a suitable potential function, such as the Newtonian potential in celestial mechanics andthe Coulomb potential in quantum mechanics of atomic and molecular physics. In this paper,the author studies the kinematic geometry of n-body systems. The main results are (i) theintroduction of a canonical coordinate svstem which reveals the total amount of kinematicsymmetry by an SO(3) x O(n-1) action in such a canonical coordinate representationt (ii) anin depth analysis of the above kinematic system both in the setting of classical invariant theoryand by the technique of equivariant Riemannian geometry; (iii) a remarkably simple formulafor the potential function in such a canonical coordinate system which reveals the well-fittingbetween the kinematic symmetry and the Potential energy.

In the discipline of Music Information Retrieval(MIR),categorizing musicﬁles according to their genre is a difﬁcult *** genre classiﬁca-tion is an important multimedia research domain for classiﬁcation of music *** the proposed method music genre classiﬁcation using features obtained from audio data is *** classiﬁcation is done using features extracted from the audio data of popular online repository namely GTZAN,ISMIR 2004 and Latin Music Dataset(LMD).The features highlight the differences between different musical *** the proposed method,feature selection is per-formed using an African buffalo Optimization(AbO),and the resulting features are employed to classify the audio using back Propagation Neural Networks(bPNN),Support vector Machine(SvM),Naïve bayes,decision tree and kNN classiﬁ*** evaluation reveals that,AbO based feature selection strategy achieves an average accuracy of 82%with mean square error(MSE)of 0.003 when used with neural network classiﬁer.

New mineralogical and bulk-rock geochemical data for the recently recognised Mesoproterozoic （ca. 1100 Ma） and late Cretaceous （ca. 90 Ma） kimberlites in the Timmasamudram cluster （TKC） of the Wajrakarur kimberlite field （WKF）, Eastern Dbarwar Craton, southern India, are presented. On the basis of groundmass mineral chemistry （phlogopite, spinel, perovskite and clinopyroxene）, bulk-rock chem- istry （SiO2, K20, low TiO2, ba/Nb and La/Sm）, and perovskite Nd isotopic compositions, the TI（-1 （mac- rocrystic variety） and TI（-4 （Macrocrystic variety） kimberlites in this cluster are here classified as orangeites （i.e. Group II kimberlites）, with geochemical characteristics that are very similar to orangeites previously described from the bastar Craton in central India, as well as the Kaapvaal Craton in South Africa. The remaining kimberlites （e.g., TK-2, TK-3 and the TK-1 microcrystic variant）, are more similar to other 1100 Ma, Group l-type kimberlites of the Eastern Dharwar Craton, as well as the typical Group I kimberlites of the Kaapvaal Craton. Through the application of geochemical modelling, based on pub- lished carbonated peridotite/melt trace element partition coefficients, we show that the generation of the TI（C kimberlites and the orangeites results from low degrees of partial melting of a metasomatised, carbonated peridotite. Depleted mantle （TDM） Nd perovskite model ages of the 1100 Ma Timmasamudram kimberlites show that the metasomatic enrichment of their source regions are broadly similar to that of the Meso- proterozoic kimberlites of the EDC. The younger, late Cretaceous （ca. 90 Ma） TI（-1 （macrocrystic variant） and TK-4 kimberlites, as well as the orangeites from the 8astar Craton, share similar Nd model ages of 1100 Ma, consistent with a similarity in the timing of source enrichment during the amalgamation of Rodinia supercontinent. The presence of late Cretaceous diamondiferous orangeite activity, presumably related to the location of the Marion hotspot

This study is a contribution to improving rice productivity on acidic plateau soils of the tropical rainforest zone. It is based on taking into account the cationic balances of the soil in order to optimize the phosphorus (P) nutrition of rice on these acidic soils, where this nutrient constitutes a limiting factor for agricultural production. Three (3) pot trials were conducted in Adiopodoumé in the forested south of Côte d’Ivoire. The interactive effects of calcium carbonate (0, 25, 50 and 75 kg ca ha−1) and magnesium sulfate (0, 25, 50 and 75 kg Mg ha−1) were evaluated on the response of NERIca 5 rice at doses 0, 25, 50 and 75 kg P ha−1 of natural phosphate from Togo, applied only once at the start of the experiment. Additional fertilizers of nitrogen (N) (100 kg N ha−1) and potassium (K) (50 kg KCl ha−1) were added to each of the tests in a split-plot device. The test results revealed a paddy production potential of approximately 3 to 5 t⋅ha−1 for NERIca 5 on an acidic soil, under the effect of the interaction of P, ca and Mg. The quadratic response of rice yield to the doses of these fertilizers would be more dependent on their balance, itself influenced by ca nutrition. For the sustainability and maintenance of rice production in agro-ecology studied, it was recommended doses of 38 kg ca ha−1, 34 kg Mg ha−1 in a ca/Mg ratio (1/1) with intakes of 41 kg P ha−1, overall in a ratio 1/1/1 (P/ca/Mg) more favorable to the availability of free iron considered a guiding element of mineral nutrition. Thus, these promising results should be confirmed in a real environment for better management of the fertilization of rice cultivated on acidic plateau soils in Côte d’Ivoire.

The main concern of this paper is with a bijective approach to various classes ofincreasing trees. We discover an increasing tree counterpart of the decomposition algorithmfor Schroder trees. This bijection has probably reached its full generality for decomposingincreasing trees. As a special case of our algorithm, we provide a solution to a problemconcerning the enumeration of plane trees by the net number of inversions.
