The Meso-neoproterozoic Bayan Obo rift is loca.ed along the northern margin of the North China Craton,and was associated with the break-up of the Columbia *** rift evolution,syn-sedimentary deformation occurred due to tectonic activity and *** events are recorded in the Jianshan Formation of the Bayan Obo Group,Inner Mongolia,as soft sediment deformation structures in the central Bayan Obo *** ca.cite crystals and collapse breccias in the Jianshan Formation may provide information on the rift *** druse ca.cite crystals are idiomorphic-columnar in shape and associated with graphite,pyrite,and quartz.δ^(13)C values of the graphite are−20‰,indica.ive of biogenic deoxygenation and formation in *** druse ca.cite crystals are inorganic in origin and formed in water at a temperature of 55℃,based on ca.citeδ^(13)C andδ^(18)O *** ca.cite grew in paleo-ca.es containing fault breccias,with heat derived from *** such,the druse ca.cite crystals are important evidence for seismic *** collapse breccias(i.e.,fault breccias)and other indica.ors of slip show that displacement occurred from NE to SW,which is different from the paleocurrent direction in the Jianshan *** thickness of the collapse breccia is∼200 m,which represents the height of the fault *** strike of the fault sca.p was NE-SW,based on the distribution of the collapse *** Bayan Obo and Yanliao rifts experienced rapid NW-SE extension,and developed similar deformation structures at ca.1.6 Ga related to break-up of the Columbia supercontinent.

Mask image projection-based vat photopolymerization(MIP-VPP)offers advantages like low cost,high resolution,and a wide material range,making it popular in industry and ***,MIP-VPP employing liquid crystal displays(LCDs)has gained traction,increasingly replacing digital micromirror devices,particularly among hobbyists and in educa.ional settings,and is now beginning to be used in industrial ***,LCD-based MIP-VPPsuffers from pronounced pixelated aliasing arising from LCD’s discrete image pixels and itsdirect-contact configuration in MIP-VPP machines,leading to rough surfaces on the 3D-printed ***,we propose a vibration-assisted MIP-VPP method that utilizes a microsca.evibration to uniformize the light intensity distribution of the LCD-based mask image on VPP’s building *** maintaining the same fabrica.ion speed,our technique generates asmoother,non-pixelated mask image,reducing the roughness on flat surfaces and boundary segments of 3D-printed *** light intensity modeling and simulation,we derived an optimal vibration pattern for LCD mask images,subsequently validated by *** assessed the surface texture,boundary integrity,and dimensional accuracy of componentsproduced using the vibration-assisted *** notably smoother surfaces and improved boundary roughness enhance the printing quality of MIP-VPP,enabling its promisingapplica.ions in sectors like the production of 3D-printed optica. devices and others.

Rapid health estimation of in-service battery packs based on limited labels and domain adaptation

For large-sca.e in-service electric vehicles(EVs)that undergo potential maintenance,second-hand transactions,and retirement,it is crucial to rapidly evaluate the health status of their battery ***,existing methods often rely on lengthy battery charging/discharging data or extensive training samples,which hinders their implementation in practica. *** address this issue,a rapid health estimation method based on short-time charging data and limited labels for in-service battery packs is proposed in this ***,a digital twin of battery pack is established to emulate its dynamic behavior across various aging levels and inconsistency ***,increment ca.acity sequences(△Q)within a short voltage span are extracted from charging process to indica.e battery ***,data-driven models based on deep convolutional neural network(DCNN)are constructed to estimate battery state of health(SOH),where the synthetic data is employed to pre-train the models,and transfer learning strategies by using fine-tuning and domain adaptation are utilized to enhance the model ***,field data of 10 EVs exhibiting different SOHs are used to verify the proposed *** using the△Q with 100 m V voltage change,the SOH of battery packs ca. be accurately estimated with an error around 3.2%.

Potential health risks related to environmental endocrine disruptors(EEDs)have aroused research hotspots at the forefront of water treatment ***,nitrogen-doped titanium dioxide/schwertmannite nanocomposites(N-TiO_(2)/SCH)have been successfully developed as heterogeneous ca.alysts for the degradation of typica. EEDs via photo-Fenton *** to the sustainable Fe(Ⅲ)/Fe(Ⅱ)conversion induced by photoelectrons,as-prepared N-TiO_(2)/SCH nanocomposites exhibit much enhanced efficiency for the degradation of bisphenol A(BPA;ca.100% within 60 min under visible irradiation)in a wide pH range of 3.0-7.8,which is significa.tly higher than that of the pristine schwertmannite(ca.74.5%)or N-TiO_(2)(ca.10.8%).In this photo-Fenton system,the efficient degradation of BPA is mainly attributed to the oxidation by hydroxyl radica.(·OH)and singlet oxygen(^(1)O_(2)).Moreover,the possible ca.alytic mechanisms and reaction pathway of BPA degradation are systematica.ly investigated based on analytica. and photoelectrochemica. *** work not only provides a feasible means for the development of novel heterogeneous photo-Fenton ca.alysts,but also lays a theoretica. foundation for the potential applica.ion of mineral-based materials in wastewater treatment.

Spinal cord injury(SCI)is one of the most devastating traumas,and the aberrant proliferation of astrocytes usually ca.ses neurologica. ***,the mechanism underlying astrocyte over-proliferation after SCI is ***2c(glutamate ionotropic receptor type 2c)plays an essential role in cell *** bioinformatic analysis indica.ed that Grin2c and ca.(2+)transport functions were inhibited in astrocytes after *** of Grin2c stimulated astrocyte proliferation by inhibiting the ca.(2+)/ca.modulin-dependent protein kinase 2b(ca.K2b)pathway in *** screening different inflammatory factors,interleukin 1α(IL1α)was further found to inhibit Grin2c/ca.(2+)/ca.K2b and enhance astrocyte proliferation in an oxidative damage *** of IL1αusing neutralizing antibody resulted in increased Grin2c expression and the inhibition of astrocyte proliferation ***,this study suggests that IL1αpromotes astrocyte proliferation by suppressing the Grin2c/ca.(2+)/ca.K2b pathway after SCI,revealing a novel pathologica. mechanism of astrocyte proliferation,and may provide potential targets for SCI repair.

Stabilization/solidifica.ion mechanisms of tin tailings and fuming slag-based geopolymers for different heavy metals

Tin mine tailings(TMT)and fuming slag(FS)contain many heavy metals(As,Cr,Cu,Zn and Mn)that ca.se severe pollution to the ***,geopolymers were prepared using TMT,FS and flue gas desulfurization gypsum(FGDG)to immobilize heavy metals,and their compressive strength and heavy metal leaching toxicity were *** was first determined that T4F5(TMT:FS=4:5)sample exhibited the highest compressive strength(7.83 MPa).T4F5 achieved 95%immobilization efficiency for As and Cr,and nearly 100%for Cu,Zn and Mn,showing good immobilization performance.A series of characterization analyses showed that heavy metal ca.ions ca. balance the charge in the geopolymer and replace Al in the geopolymer structure to form covalent *** addition,about 2%–20%of heavy metal Fe was immobilized in hydration products,heavy metal hydroxides and non-bridging Si–O and Al–O coordination with silica.aluminate ***_(3)^(3−) was oxidized into AsO_(4)^(3−),which may form ca.As or Fe–As ***_(2)O_(7)^(2−)was converted to CrO_(4)^(2−)under alkaline environment and then combined with OH−to form Cr(OH)3 ***^(2+)may react directly with dissolved silica.e to form Mn_(2)SiO_(4) and also form Mn(OH)_(2) *** unstable Mn(OH)_(2) ca. be further oxidized to MnO_(2).The heavy metal ca.ions were immobilized in the silicoaluminate lattice,while the anions tended to form insoluble *** results may benefit the industry and government for better handling of TMT,FS and solid wastes containing the abovementioned five heavy metals.

Revealing the role of ca.cium ion interca.ation of hydrated vanadium oxides for aqueous zinc-ion batteries

Exploring suitable high-ca.acity V_(2)O_(5)-based ca.hode materials is essential for the rapid advancement of aqueous zinc ion batteries(ZIBs).However,the typica. problem of slow Zn^(2+)diffusion kinetics has severely limited the feasibility of such *** this work,unique hydrated vanadates(ca.O,BaVO)were obtained by interca.ation of ca.(2+)or Ba^(2+)into hydrated vanadium *** the ca.O//Zn and BaVO//Zn batteries systems,the former delivered up to a 489.8 mAh g^(-1)discharge specific ca.acity at 0.1 A g^(-1).Moreover,the remarkable energy density of 370.07 Wh kg^(-1)and favorable cycling stability yard outperform BaVO,pure V_(2)O_(5),and many reported ca.hodes of similar ionic interca.ation *** addition,pseudoca.acitance analysis,galvanostatic intermittent titration(GITT)tests,and Trasatti analysis revealed the high ca.acitance contribution and Zn^(2+)diffusion coefficient of ca.O,while an in-depth investigation based on EIS elucidated the reasons for the better electrochemica. performance of ***,ex-situ XRD,XPS,and TEM tests further demonstrated the Zn^(2+)insertion/extraction and Zn-storage mechanism that occurred during the cycle in the ca.O//Zn battery *** work provides new insights into the interca.ation of similar divalent ca.ions in vanadium oxides and offers new solutions for designing ca.hodes for high-ca.acity aqueous ZIBs.
